Must go for chicken lovers.(In chicken courses they only serve FRIED Chicken)
Cool place to be with friends.
Chicken is what they are for, very soft and fine chicken.
Classy sitting arrangements.
If you are vegeterian, dont be sad, they have some veg menu as well.
the opening of KFC was much awaited for me! for someone who loves non vegetarian food, this is the place! the chicken buckets- total international and delicious taste, a must have over here if you love non vegetarian food. the zinger burgers- so tasty and crispy. like they are tailored the way i love it. and my favourite!! the KRUSHERS! i have tasted all the krushers and i loved them all. though chocolate will remain an all time favourite for me! KFC in Ahmedabad
After what seemed like a long time(!), KFC has finally opened in Ahmedabad (AlphaOne mall, Vastrapur).
It is regularly packed with a non-stop steady stream of customers eager to get their finger lickin' share of fried chicken.
The decor isn't anything fancy but given the fast turnaround of customers it's not a place to go to sit for a while and take a long time over your food. Fast food is the name of the game.
First visit we ordered a chicken 'bucket' which was good - probably the best of the options (also had popcorn chicken and chicken strips).
One let-down was the 'lack' of the usual KFC taste ('regular' flavor) but otherwise it is a place that is hard to beat, including on price which is well worth the money.
Second visit we opted for the 'zinger' meal which strangely(!) came with either fries OR a single piece of chicken - take care when you order as we expected fries but were told it was an 'either-or' deal.
Looking for some additional sides to the meal we also ordered the 'coleslaw'. It is not what you'd expect from a coleslaw by western standards - more like cabbage, onion and carrot (finely sliced) with a thin vinaigrette. Taste is ok but doesn't really compare with a traditional 'slaw.
Definitely worth a visit tho' if you're looking for that non-veg fried chicken 'fix'!
