review for the banquet
We went there for a colleague's reception, so what we have experienced is the buffet. Hence the comments are not for the restaurant.
The place is deceptively large. You wonder how would a guest list of 150 be managed in this small place. But their arrangements and management is very smart and efficient. It is much better than some places that have large space but due to lack of management create a ruckus at a reception party.
The food - regular salads, starters, soups, punjabi subzi, roti, dal, jeera rice - is tasty and nothing to complain about. In fact you are tempted to go for a second helping. The icing on the cake is the gulab jamun. It has right amount of sweetness and soft enough to melt in your mouth. We were all going gaga over the gulab jamun that even a colleague who doesn't like sweets at all could resist herself from tasting them and then having a second round.
