A vegan delight
Carrot name solitary shows how veggie this place is. Subsequent to that it’s a seventh heaven for lovely vegans who all adore and care for animals. Veganism is not a dietetic mania, it’s a lifestyle. Carrot positioned in the niche area of Korman gala just walkable remoteness from the Sony signal junction. Now it’s in service from the 1st floor. They serve really delight foods exclusive of any animal product. I have tasted CARROT OAT SMOOTHIES I can’t put in the picture you, when as a chef I never tasted anything like that from veg. I am giving 4*/5*. I tasted EGGLESS TIRAMISU as I am very restless to experience that I missed the foundation product. While working with Leela Bangalore I use to craft tiramisu from sabayon and mascarpone cheese. At this juncture, they used whipped cream as a base for Eggless Tiramisu. As whipped cream doesn’t contain any dairy foodstuff. They replaced the lady finger biscuits with a healthy bread stick I can name it as I felt. I really don’t have a clue what the technical word they are using. As a pastry chef, I can give 3*/5* sorry guys since I have tasted the world class tiramisus from the world class chefs.
Although the ambience is cool all over the paintings. A good collection submit gathered. How they deliberate the menu all GF, AF things (GLUTEN FREE AND ALLERGY FREE). It attracted me more. After that all they have described the dish it is for which healthy diet like H1 H2 H3. Wow, great menu planning 10*/5* for menu planning Susmitha. They have placed a lot of things about Veganism under every piece tables must interpret guys. One beautiful vegan and organic food items display and a library for your reference about Veganism.
Become a vegan good thing as per my view by that you can live a healthy life. A must go place if you love, your heart.
Bone appetite @chef BB
One Place For The Vegan!
Enter this place and you will be welcomed by the aroma of the dips, available in seven flavours. I went there with my friends and loved the Herbed Boursin Cheese Dip.
We kicked off our meal with the Special Cold Starters Platter which includes three dips served with bread and vegetable crudités and pita chips. My friends who prefer their food warm, went for a Special Hot Starters Platter. One thing that definitely caught our attention was the fact that one could make the burgers, sandwiches or pizzas gluten-free at a minimal cost of Rs 60/Rs 80. In the mains, we tried the Aioli Aioli Wholewheat Pasta and the Pineapple Tofu Tikka Pizza (Rs 240 for 9 inches). Totally worth it guys! A must visit place!!
An oasis in the midst of madness!
The subject line quite echoes the 1st impression this place created when I entered it, more out of curiosity than with any intention of dining!
There I was one bright Sunday afternoon, walking home after a strenuous workout and even strenuous shopping session wondering what I could possibly have for lunch that wouldn't pile on the calories???
Just as I crossed the Indian oil bunk I turned behind and noticed this nondescript brown signage that said 'Carrots'- Vegan healthy restaurant and store. Interested enough to turn about and trace my steps, I soon found myself at the entrance of this very nicely lit aurovillian kind of café playing mellifluous, soothing world music. Surprisingly spacious, the furniture is all bamboo/cane and the counters have a very earthy feel to it. There is a rack that sells organic produce from different suppliers and a scattering of paintings rest for sale on sofas, walls, shelves around the place. They had a nice black board up front that announced the days specials. All the food is simple, organic and vegan and the selection is limited but at the same time varied enough- each and every item is unique. I ordered a Carrot special plate and stretched out on my sofa with a book- that was the amazing thing.. this isnt the kind of place you need to dress up to go to, where you have to mind your ps and qs! You dont need to put in that kind of effort.. you can just unwind, let go and be You! Im not going to spoil it for you by getting into lengthy descriptions of the food but I will tell you this- Its Food with a soul, the ingredients will talk to you, the freshness and flavours will burst on your palette, the experience will energise you!
The place is owned by a German- Kannadiga duo, who seem a lil shy but ask them the right questions and you are bound to get some nuggets of information.
So people.. Never judge CARROTS by its signboard! Push yourself to cross the entrance doors and into this oasis, you wont be disappointed!
