Awesome Food...Amazing Place....Paschim Terrace Added Charm To My Party!
Amazing place done up in vibrant green palette with a fish tank, and soothing old numbers. Great food and pleasant staff. I have been a regular at this place since 2 years, but since they changed their name from Dugout to Paschim Terrace, i haven't been here. Their menu has been revamped, but awesome in all aspects. The staff is very friendly and customizes things as per your need. They describe the menu in detail in case you want to know the ingredients and they also suggest items that suit the kids. For us, it is a priceless experience when they take care of the kids so that you can enjoy your food. We liked the place so much that we actually planned our daughter's first birthday here and what we got to listen from our guests was "Awesome food, amazing place..why did we not know of it before!" The food turned out be fully authentic and the PT team delivered what they promised. Actually more than that as they served some items that were not on the menu and didn't charge us for it even though they were not listed in menu discussed for the event. Special thanks to their manager Raman, who was very supportive when getting the decor done and being there for the party the whole while to take care of issues faced. Cheers to Paschim Terrace...We are going to keep visiting the place over and over again.
Perfect Place to Watch The Screening of The Football Match
I normally head to dugout to watch the screening of my favorite football games. I am a Liverpool football club supporter and this place is the perfect place to watch all the games, its also the home of the Liverpool Bangalore Supporters Club. While the games are not relayed the music played by the DJ is very peppy. The ambiance of the place is not so great, it could have been better. The food though is good. I for one like the burgers, pizzas and the chili chicken and I would recommend the same to who ever visits this place. You must visit this place if you want to watch football games.
Dugout does total justice to the word "Sports Bar", UNLIKE many pubs who call themselves sports bar and play Stupid songs for people to dance in but DUGOUT is just an awesome place, great hospitality, Commentary for all the games played, let it be FOOTBALL, cricket or F1, Great staff,....YUMMY PIZZA.
Sports Bar with Yum Pizza
This is the best sports bar in Bangalore. Passionate supporters from the city gather together to watch matches at dugout (Including Liverpool Fans #YNWA)
Don't miss the Chicken Pizza and the Garlic Bread. The food here is brilliant. The beer ain't bad either.
When not watching a match, feel free to play pool or just hang around with friends to some techno (YUCK!) music.
Fun place to hang
I've been going here quite a bit since the last year or so. It is a good place for groups to hang out, mainly because there are things to do. There's Play Station, Foosball, pool etc, which can keep the momentum of a group going. The area is pretty large, and divided into sections, making it comfortable to hang out. There is an area inside which goes from being a dance area to a VIP lounge to anything they change it to. Food, specially the pizzas in both veg and non veg are quite good. Beer of course, is the primary drink we have there, though other liquor is not very expensive. For a group of 8 in an average evening, the fare would come up to 5000 change including food and beverages. The location is excellent, near Jyoti Nivas college, and usually it's the young crowd that hangs out here, though it's not always. They screen games and have pretty good viewing. Music is also pretty good in there.
Downsides, here goes. The games and resources are not booked or regulated in use. So groups often get into conflicts. Kids from schools and colleges come here and cozy up in the afternoons in the dinghy interiors, so it's best to avoid corners if you go there for lunches!
Nevertheless a fun place to hang, specially in a gang.
I celebrated my bday in this restaurant . It was jus amazing.. I luvd the ambiance of the rooftop with plenty of candles lighting up the place. The food was jus yummy.. I loved the continental starters and the pasta ant thin crest pizza.. My frnds lovd it too. My bday was really special. All thanks to Dugout. If you are a foodie den dis place should be on ur list..!! I would give 5 star for ambiance, 4 star for food and 4 star for the service. :)
Pathetic food!!!!! Indian food is way too spicy....and Italian is a disaster!!! Pasta was prepared with red chillies and Indian masalas!!!! And highly highly priced for the kind of food served! I would suggest any one against going to this restaurant...save yourself from a disappointing evening at this place. Not worth it!!
Pathetic Place to have food
18 of us were there for lunch and we opted for buffet. Place and service is horrible ( 1 person servd 18 people table due to which it took 2 hours to finish our lunch). starters were served on the table in which only the chaats were fine but rest of the veg and non-veg starters were bad and chicken was burnt & very spicy..:(. In the main course, firstly we have to wait for 15 mins to let the food come and we started with biryani which was half cooked . then we just lost the interest in food and were really disappointed and also we ordered for soft drinks which was served after we finished our lunch.... left the place after paying the bill ! After some time of our lunch, most of the people had stomach upset... It was complete disaster...consider this feedback very seriously if you want to enjoy your lunch...
Nice Rooftop and good food, what else you need :)
I celebrated my birthday with gang of my friends. Made my day. It was really a special birthday to me. Though had more expectations from the so called sports bar, but did not find much of sports there to play with. Somehow spend an hour or so having not so fresh lamb starters(though the other variety of starters were gud). Then we moved on to the roof top where we had the cake cutting. These people were not able to provide us cake so 2 of my friends had to go out to get a cake. Now the best part was the songs and the food. There was guitarist who was singing songs and playing guitar. It was really great to have him sing songs. Along with that it started raining which made the atmosphere really enjoyable and soothing. The food was really great. Though it is a bit expensive but worth for the quality of the food. Once in a while we can go. As I said earlier, sports bar was the only disappointment as I went only for playing not for boozing(I am a non alcoholic person :) )
6 of us were there for lunch some time back and we opted for there buffet. Place and service is ok ok. starters were served on the table in which only the chaats were fine but rest of the veg and non-veg starters were bad and chicken was burnt..:(. In the main course, firstly we have to wait for 15 mins to let the food come in the cauldrons and we started with biryani which was half cooked . then we just lost the interest in food and were really disappointed and left the place after paying the bill !
Sportsbar? Seriously ???
This is no way a sports bar. The music they play here aint that great also. When I went there I was really disappointed but then we moved to the top floor where they have an open restaurant, now that was far far better. Since I went there late evening it was quite nice with cool breeze. Sitting has been spread nicely with enough place but still not looking cramped up. Food was average, like any other restaurant... we ordered some chicken which seemed to be fresh. Dint like the veg much tho. Worth a visit for a date.
You would go to a place like this and wonder, what exactly is the definition of a sports bar?
Dugout for example has 2 giant screens displaying sports and one pool and one foosball table each. Apart from that they also have couple of small television screens and a horrible DJ who plays loud but rubbish music and has no clue about mixing tracks.
The service is slow and at times you have to wait 10 mins to find a waiter and place your order. Even then they manage to forget all about getting your food/drink.
The crowd was few groups of abusing teenagers yelling at each other as their teams took the upperhand in a football game.
If this is a sports bar, then Id rather watch my sport elsewhere. Not one to be repeated surely
Good place to chill out
Had been to this place a month back n loved the food....went back again to the roof top restaurant last week..
I would recommend the mouth watering pizzas n pastas
The starters r the best i've ever had
All in all "PAISA WASOOL" sports bar with a good food, pool table n big HD screens
A destination For the Hangout-ers!!!
The sports bar provided me with great entertainment and tasty food. Highlights are the projected Screen and pool table. My taste buds was more enlightened by the Continental cuisine. A must visit for pasta lovers. Also try the amazing melt-in-the-mouth continental starters. A great place for chilling and hangouts! I strongly recommend Dugout for its great experience!
great place - awful food!
Despite poor reviews on Foursquare we still decided to visit this place. The cafe itself is pretty, great ambience, outdoors with plants and some water. 4/5 for that.
the food however was a HUGE disappointment. There were 3 of us - we ordered Black Label (which my friends were sure was not the real thing, it was local whiskey being disgyuised as BL) and a grey goose vodka.
Food - the crispy fried veggies were anything but crisp, this is a horrid version of a homemade Bajji that you're paying 200bucks for. the batter was thick and soggy with all the oil.
Next came the prawns in butter garlic - 6 medium prawns swimming in a bowl of pale gluggy white sauce that was unpalatable. we had to fish the prawns out and have them w/o the sauce.
the fish fingers - 6 of them were of uneven sizes, over cooked to the point of dried out, with way too much ginger that gave the finger a crazy kind of heat that burn your throat and stomach - this too was awful.
french fries - the usual but a ton of salt that they took back and dusted it off.
Bill for this mean Rs.4700/- 4 black labels, 1 large vodka and all the above food. so much for this terrible food. safe to say we ain't going back there or recommending it to anyone.
Good Ambience and Good Food
We went here on Tuesday for a team dinner. The place lived to its expectations created from the Photos uploaded here. The food was really very tasty especially the few starters we ordered. We ordered Golden Fried Prawns, Achari Chicken and a Non-Veg Platter. We ordered our main dish seperately however ended up having 6 sizzlers on the table. I would give only a 3/5 for the sizzler because i felt the meat/chicken very chewy. Overall the place was good.
Great lunch buffet option
As someone has mentioned this is a hidden treasure. There are quite a few restaurants on the JNC road and this one is on the Hosur road and side and in the same building as Oyster bay.
Been here multiple times along with colleagues at work.
Staff are very friendly and receptive to feedback. Service is good
The lunch buffet spread is awesome and I would vouch every item on the spread is quite different and tasty.
USP of this place is the terrace top and would be great option in the evenings...
A M A Z I N G !!!
Been to this place for an office party. We were blown with the quality and taste of the food. The taste was so exceptional that no measel was left behind. They have a very good range of starters and main course.
The best stuff here is the PIZZA & Sizzlers cause its hand made. I have never tasted such yummy pizza in my life. I went crazy over the VEG and NON-VEG Pizza. The garlic Bread was excellent too.
Please eat to your Hearts content !!!
First impressions : We went straight to the rooftop. At first glance, this place looked beautiful; Nice ambiance & great view, but empty on a Saturday night. We had second thoughts and checked out the Sports Bar(Dingy, I must say) below, only to settle for the rooftop.
Tummy Talks : Dugout has a very elaborate Menu consisting of Indian, Continental & Italian. All with Starters, Main Course & Desserts. We ordered for a pitcher of beer before we even sat on our tables & some Sangria for the lady. The Beer was crisp & had just the right amount of fizz! We placed an order of Veg Fritters & Kastoori Kabab, the former had a light batter(Beer Batter, Am guessing) and was crisp, the latter came with a rolled up papad which also doubled up as a bowl for the vinegared onions. The Continental Barbeque Platter 2 Tiger Prawns, Lamb Chops, 2 Grilled Fish Sheeks, 2 Grilled Chicken skewers, 2 Chicken Sausages, this was a meal in itself.Next came the Pizzas. By far, the best pizzas Ive had in town PERIOD! We ordered the Diavola(Salami, Pepperoni, Sausage) & Spiced Chicken (delicately spiced & roasted chicken). Both these came with Oregano, Chilli Flakes, Tabasco & Olive Oil on the side. These were the most VFM pizzas Ive ever had. I would probably pay 700INR for something of this quality at Toscano/Sunnys. We had both these for that price. Last but not the least, was the our favorite dish of all time BIRYANI. We ordered the Lucknowi Ghosht Biryani, mildly spiced & aromatic. Alas, we had no space for any dessert.

A PLACE TO CHILL OUT :)
One of South Bangalore's most popular Terrace Garden Restaurants, Dug out offers gorgeous terrace settings where the punters choose to spill out onto when the sun is at its most glorious. An excellent place to chill out on a lazy afternoon with a great buffet spread or a beautiful a la carte for family, friends or the special someone under a starry night. This is a place to visit either in the day or night. Don't miss out on the starters and a range of alcohol available.
A romantic place for drinks, food , ambience and service. Worth your money and time ... Would love to revisit again soon...

only thing i liked is pool table
been there last week. The only thing i liked there was thier pool table. ambience and food is below average. sofas seattening are too deep and uncomfortable. the most crapy is thier plastic chair arrangements inside which looks like a local bar.But i still decided to give them good rating becoz i enjoyed playing pool
