A place best avoided
First, they are racist. Case in point: Few months ago we decided to go clubbing at Fusion Lounge (not our first time of course) and invited a friend (with non-Mongoloid features) to join us. At entry, they charged him double the entry fee that we (Mongoloid features) were charged.
Secondly, on March 27th 2015, I went to Fusion Lounge again with a group of friends. There was a promotional SMS that was sent to me that day that specified that as part of its 9th Anniversary Week celebration, entry for guys would be FREE till 9.30 P.M.
We entered at around 8.45 PM and those guys at the counter (not the usual guy with mustache ) demanded an entry fee of Rs. 1000 per head. When I showed them the SMS message and questioned them, they said its NOT APPLICABLE. The guy at the gate (nepali speaking, in most probability) was exceedingly RUDE. The guy at the cash counter eventually gave a "discount" of 200 rupees and gave me a coupon for a complimentary drink (and a biryani?).
This is nothing short of MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT.
People dont have time to make a scene at the entry gate, but if you guys continue to deliberately cheat/harass/cause inconvenience just for the sake of some extra cheap earnings, it will reflect on the degrading reputation of your establishment.
If you guys continue to show utter disregard for these things, you will soon run into troubles, including legal.
You guys not only embarrass your guests but also put them into unnecessary inconveniences which is totally uncalled for.
I hope the management reads this review and take necessary precautions to prevent such incidents from happening.
FUSION LOUNGE THE BEST PLACE TO DANCE
From the pass 6 years I m partying in Fusion Lounge and till now I never don't want to leave this place, every year they keep on changing the interiors and I fell like I am in a different place always ... I am sure they will bring a new Fusion Lounge next year.. Waiting eagerly...
Fusion Lounge is the Best
I had been here yesterday for a Halloween Party and I had lots of fun with my friends... Wow, the decor was totally Spooky, and the visuals made us go scared :) And almost all came in Halloween fancy customs which was totally amazing .. Never had a big Halloween party like this one before.
My friends and me we were all girls but the dance floor was so secure by the two bouncers and the DJ Plays nice tracks , yesterday was an unforgettable moment for me and my friends.
Have been there couple of times with my friends for #Chilling out, but as soon as you enter check out the #three big dance Floors. We just can't stop moving our-self here. We always have the best time dancing our #asses out here.
Food was okay and among the drinks, I love the Fusion beer. The Dj's are very friendly. They play an awesome track that will blow your mind.
If you think you can dance .... Smash inn.....
BAN THE PLACE!! Its Pathetic
We went there in the evening. The place is very shady and the crowd also is very bad. The waiters constantly push you and ask you if you want to buy drinks which we politely refused the first ten times and then had to shout from harassing us further. The price is totally not worth it. For 600 bucks cover charge you get two half-full mugs of beer which taste like shit!! The people in charge almost do not want you to have fun and yes the DJ was pathetic too. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. Flushing your money down the toilet will be a better option.!!
Low Class Night Club
Ambiance - the night club smells, they have different dance floors for men and women, bouncers push guys if they stand or sit at the bar next to the ladies dance floor. It made me feel as if it is a club in Saudi...lol
Service - ill mannered service and staff, rude bartenders, only sensible people over there are the manager and the restroom staff.
Music - sucks, sound system is old and so are the speakers.
Crowd - Bad crowd.
Always a good time
Fusion Lounge is supposed to be one of the hottest place for all party animals.
Generally they have Dj's & performers visiting from other cities. Music is great and on top of that hep crowd makes your experience even more memorable.
come and feel the difference if you haven't visited yet.
It's HELL !!
I went there with two of my friends & I waited for 45 minutes for someone to take the order at the end one of us has to go there to call them.
They behave like they are doing a favor on you . They don't even have manners to behave with their customers. Music , Ambiance, Food ... Nothing was good.
I can't understand why people go there.
Lousiest place ever!!!
There are other lacunas that I would like to point out-
1) SMOKING ROOM:The smoking room is pathetic. It has place for like say 15 people all tightly packed.
It seems as if the management had forgotten to put up a smoking area and used up the entire place for the pub.
2) WASHROOM: Hygiene!!!! Does it ring a bell for you guys. Your washrooms are filthy than the public toilets, believe me. The time I had been to the washroom,it was filled with used toilet papers, puke and abhorring smell coming from them. Atleast have an attendant to clean them up.
3)SERVICE: Ya man, what's up with the service. I was asked to carry my handbag and jacket with me ,lest they get stolen. I was like WHAT!!! You guys provide amazing security, hats off!!!
4)ENTRY FEE: My guy friends had to pay Rs 700 each for stags entry and guess what no free drinks. Keep that in mind, you guys don't have an ambiance to boast about,so the entry fee is real dumb.
5)MUSIC: Music was ok,since the DJ was playing Edward Maya(my fav).
6)DRINKS: Are the drinks costly??? Hell ya man!!! One small can of beer is like Rs 300 bucks(which is costly). And why can't you present the bill in the end. Each time a person want's beer, they have to scramble for there cash, pay and then drink. Ridiculous I must say dude.
Management try to work out on the things mentioned above.
Finally,words of wisdom-ting tong
-Don't use the washroom.
A place where u can party hard
Amazing place to hang out and have fun don't know about thte night parties but the afternoon parties are really good.they are doing a good job in filtering out the bad crowd.the lounge is also renovated and it looks amazing and makes ur party experience even better I wish them best of luck for their new fusion lounge :D
Classy and Standardized Club
i saw a lot of negative comments, lemme tell u this an amazing place where they know to filter the Rite crowd,to eliminate eve teasing issues...the events are happening on all 7 days in a week..they accept people with the rite sense of attire n attitude...its purely a hip-hop n house club and the DJ's are the best ive come across.people just call them racists for the fact that they are selective. The newly added things to be noted:
-Surf board - Where people can buy a can of beer n sit n surf the web.
-Karaoke Room - where u can go show off ur singing skills.
-Automated bar system - the service at the bar is much faster because of this.
-Lighting n ambience - a really nice place to chill out.
-Massive Video n Led wall's
-Movie theater - area where u can watch movies wid some pitchers n frnds beside u
-V.I.P Zones - u can have a private VIP area for yourself n your friends.
-Cutting edge technology - they keep adding new gadgets n gizmo's evrydays
The only thing is that you have to make sure is to put ur self well when you go there...in terms of attitude & Attire.
"LOO" is not a Chinese name !!
If you love to party to a Lot of hip-hop and (a few) house numbers : this place is heaven!!
I'm sure a lot of Bangaloreans are going "what!!"?? (add your own choice of expletives) but its true.
DON'T GO :
1) IF AMBIANCE/GREAT BAR IS YOUR THING: Its a dingy place with pool tables on one side, a worn out dance floor on the other, loos that will make your cubicle @ work seem like heaven with smell to match. They have some old off white super stained leather couches.
You can forget about "chic drinks". All you get are cans of KF (yes Cans: they dont even bother to get pint bottles in there),shots of tequila with hostesses or self upgraded waiters.and more shots of tequila or vodka or OMR(old Monk Rum). Nothing else. NO-TH-ING ELSE!! not even water. Not even a glass of draught. No red bulls for your vodka either.
Most of the people I know here : get half tipsy outside and then get here.:)
2)IF 'CHIC' CROWD IS YOUR THING: This crowd is NOT CHIC but crowded!! . so expect everyone to bump into everyone else.If you dare, try some bunny pinching yourself. A complete working class crowd of Lots of North easterners,Tibeteans, Africans,Anglos and Arabs. Drizzle a few sub continentals and youre there. No one above the age group of 25 (unless you look younger) makes it here:so dont expect mature partying. Its an "all ballsy affair" so be prepared to be exhausted.Except single women to be "groped". Expect to be groped by them as well : if you are that Handsome!!
3)ETHICAL BEHAVIOUR: No way are you going to get the waiter to get you the right bill. Been there like 20 times or so : Im sure as hell they over billed it. So,if you are the dorky types who prefer to match the bill, check the VAT and service charges etc: you can forget about getting an explanation.Ethics is best kept to confession. And try not to stare if you see something you dont generally see in normal clubs.
4) IF YOU WANT "REGULAR" MUSIC: As indians: we have a notorious reputation of loving to be called "regulars". Everyone prides themselves in going to the same place to eat, or the same place to drink :again and again and again. Its almost like we get a satisifaction of knowing the menu by-heart or if the service personnel give you a "knowing" glance. So it is a foregone conclusion to say the music we listen to also has to be on the same lines. If you get high and want the pace to be soft rock/bollywood: you can go stick it. And, thankfully, they dont entertain moronic requests either. CUTTING EDGE music. It is the best from the latest club/trance/hip hop remixes end and its Killa!!!None of those stupid bollywood remixes either. If you are reading this and have heard of "Lords of acid-Crablouse": then we are in sync! If 50 cents' "Wanksta" /Kiesha :Tick Tock is still on your IPOD : I suggest you reevaluate. If not : go update your definition of latest : as its atleast 6 months old or more.:) Amazing tempo to this stuff. They dont fly in DJs from all around the world for nothing. And no : its not gonna be Paul Van Dyk or Paul Oakenfold either.Dont get me started on 'Infected Mushrooms' now..Dont expect your stuff/ your girl's stoles/purses to be intact if you choose to leave it on the sofa. Either leave them in the car: or ask them not to carry a big one in the first place.
5) IF YOU EXPECT TO GET IN BECAUSE YOU ARE A STAG AND YOU CAN PAY:This place DOES NOT entertain Desi Stags. If you find that term offensive, then stop coming to places with a pair of Levis and Lumberjack boots with checked shirts and 4 morons on tow looking like youve all decided to loose your virginity tonite or a pair of tits on a woman is better than her smile (whichever sounds more condescending). Upgrade your 90s wardrobe to some Ed Hardy/Hangten/Diesel or Converse at least, and then we talking!! And please please: dont come with your shopping bags. PLEASE!!!
OK...They Do entertain Stags. But only if you are not 'Desi' (or dont pass off as one).If in this day and age :you cannot get a date :then really you either lack pizazz or conversation ability or are really a mama's boy. At least make a deal with your partner. Getting in as a couple and when you are in ,abandon each other and "alls fair in love and war" :) Accept it and move on. DO NOT say that you are a set of guys going there to have fun "with each other " and enjoy the music. For one: Guys dont hang out with each other dancing unless you are "differently oriented".And two: guys hang out with each other @ pubs watching games. Not @ this place. If you are differently oriented: I am sorry : even Bangalore , as a place, has a lot of catching up to do,on this front.
6)"RACIST BEHAVIOUR" TAG: I'm Indian myself. I am not proud /nor am I embarrassed about it. Its just the reality of things. So what? If a place does not accept me : Id go somewhere else: But I'd make sure I do all I can (within acceptable limits) to ensure I "appear" worth being admitted. Finally, think about it.. I mean half the reviewers here have used the word :chinky for a north easterner and Blacks for Africans. Don't you think that is racist? Calling an NE'sterner a chinky when he/she is not even from china based on their features/Color and calling an African Black IS OFFENSIVE. Where did your "sense of racism" go there? Dont be prepared to "give" if you are not prepared to "receive". Also this feature is the same ALMOST EVERYWHERE . It applies to fine-dine restaurants as well. Lots of places in Bombay and Madras that will not allow you to get in: if you dont have shoes (in nightclubs) and suits (in dining establishments) which the host/hostess 'look you up' before they admit you. While if it is a foreigner: even if the guy is barefooted : they will allow them in. LEARN TO IGNORE THESE THINGS.IT WILL NEVER CHANGE!! What it will do to you : is to make your experience in the place less memorable. Is it worth it?
Have been there on 2-3 occasions when I did not have a date but was with a few couples. They did not know me but I was still let in.I rate myself average @ best: So its pretty obvious that its an "appearance issue".I do not think thats racist. Most of the people from out of country find few places to hang out with their crowd and be themselves : so I guess the flipside is that the racist comment will come up.
To be honest: If your entire stag motive is to go in there to score (and somehow the wimmen should just look @ you and say "WOW!! What a man ya!!!"ala Bolly/Kollywood): save yourself the trouble and stand downstairs @ the elevator. You can find "escorts" of all hues and nationalities who (could) satisfy you for a fee. Though this is not a standard Fusion Lounge subscription or endorsement.
If you are wondering what "Escorts" mean:I dont have anything else to say.
1)If you really want to shake a leg and enjoy so good: that youd have sweat dripping down your spine when the AC is on in full blast.
2)If a crowded disc of youngsters sweating and partying and binge drinking is your way of having a GREAT time!! .Not to forget the music that is not "usual"
3)If Beer,Tequila shots and OMR is a satisfactory alliance to compensate for the above.
4)They are packed every night!! Everynight : with themes. So you dont have to go on weekends to have a good time :). Have been there on tue/wed/thru/fri on different occasions : Great stuff and crowds everytime I went.
4 stars for me: for the great music, great crowd, terrific laser lights, loud bass. I havent experienced any racist behaviour here.
The loo, although, both the ladies and the laddies: is not racist in anyway. It is terrible regardless of distinction!!
They better change the name i had the most awful experience of my life ...I was just down brigade road with a couple of my friends and just unluckly happend to see this place we decided to go and there was the start of a bad night we went at the entrance and there were some people telling a couple of stags no entry for singles ....those guys walked away i asked him so we cant go in he said no u can i woundered why i never told us to walk back as the previous guys ....we were 3 stags (Truth one of my friend was a chinki)ok now we go in to have a good time and try yo get to the dance floor a bouncer pushes us away i asked him what happend he says no only chinkis ...I Was just thinking for a minute was i in india or ? then i ask one fat so manager he told me the same ...I asked him why we are not informed earlier he just walks away ....bad service too expensive shit place.....
Want a taste of racism in Bangalore, in India?
It can be quite amusing to read reports about Indians complaining about racism abroad (which are usually attacks by disgruntled, drunk teenagers abroad), but it is infuriating when Indians themselves indulge in racism against other Indians.
Well, Fusion Lounge always appeared quite seedy with all its bouncers standing outside, letting in badly dressed chinks and blacks, while Indian stags turned away no matter how good/bad they were dressed or looked.
I was never keen on visiting this place anyway, but decided to, at the behest of a friend last night. It was Tibetan and Mongolian night, and they usually have a different tribal night every day, starting from Monday. The moment I got off the lift, I was told stags are not allowed, and I see loads of north eastern stags (None of them are foreigners, but INDIANS from the north eastern states) being let in.
It was perhaps the first time I encountered racism, and I am glad I encountered racism right here in India and in Bangalore, for it clears a lot of doubts about racism claims made by Indians when they go work/study abroad..
PS: Most of my friends are either from East Africa or from the North East.. And they are awesome people. It is the Fusion Lounge that sucks.
Same Crowd Everyday..
Wid regards to other burppers' reviews would like to add another review !! If you visit this place very often you will find that its the same people who go there everyday.. The management is rude and service is below standard. DJs out there are awesome no doubt. Only the cocktails(that comes for a price) are worth tasting. The beer provided is something that you perhaps won't get anywhere.. Its tasteless and watery.. There theme is oriented towards pleasing the Tibetan and African crowd. They says that the dance floor is only for couples and girls but regular stags get the privilege to enjoy it. One more thing is that the crowd is very cheap and the stags who go there are indecent.. Very wrong place for single girls .. this place is pimp
Cool and laid off
i liked it for the smokin zone which hangs open on the Brigade road, and those chicken nuggets. Thats it, in bold and Red. nothing else. Buh then all that is what a Beer lover wud need for a ok price. i have been there only in hpy hrs and the experiance was good. Waiters are totally lost in a different world, food is good though. And Beer, well no one can beat the Beer anywhere. So one for sure is goona be great w u is the beer mug.
Racist crappy place!
Been to this place quite a few times..
Actually even had a nice time out with friends twice at this place (Few yrs ago - diff mgmt).. Anyways i went to this place few months ago and found bangalore_clubr's review to be true.. They have a night called "Chinky & Black night" !!!! Indian stags are not allowed anywhere near the dance floor.. The manager russell is a rude di*K..
Anyways i went to place again last week (My frnd's a chink and loves the place - special attention!!!) after my frnd begged me a lot... this time stags were allowed on the dance floor and russell was a lot quieter.. BUT THE BOOZE STILL SUCKED! Not sure abt the food did not want to experiment!
Went to this place with a friend of mine .........the bouncer didn't let me in as i was a stag......he told only couples allowed which is fine...Later i see so many chinki's entering the place as stags ......I asked the bouncer why are u letting them guess what he told me........He told "Indian stags are not allowed" .......I told him everyone are from india here they are from arunachal pradesh and manipal........He told to talk to the manager....he was another dumb guy(Russel was his name)..........Fatso didn't know how to answer to the people there...........They acted as if they were racist.........My sugeestion is its an awful club.......I hope the owner sees this.....
