To Infinitea and Beyond!

Apologize for the cliched title. :P But if you love tea as much as I do, you will find solace in Infinitea. The variety of tea that they have is amazing! I generally go for a pot of Masala Chai as it's my favourite, but I'm dying to try out the rest of the options. The ambience is lovely, mostly woodwork with quotes revolving around tea and things like Alice In Wonderland (love both!!) and the place is quiet enough to sip your tea in bliss. And it's decently priced as well. A must visit! :)

100 Types of Tea to Savour...

Was our last stop for Sunday evening for some chai. This place as the name suggests serves over 100 types of tea, yeah they also do some food; pastas and continental fare. First flushes to Oolongs to Tisanes to flavoured, they have them all. We after a reading marathon went in for the South African Rooibos , it is from a different family and it’s not related to Assam or Chinese or Sri-lankan teas. We ordered the chocolate flavoured one, a hint of chocolate helped to enhance the earthy rooibos. With the heavy anti-oxidant dose we called it a day.

Verdict: Good place if you want to experience teas at under Rs 150 for a pot; a cup each for 2. Some of these sell at over Rs 15000 a kilo.

Awsome Tiramisu !

Had been to Infinitea for lunch on a Saturday afternoon from office. Just a few meters away , its a cozy quaint joint which serves a plethora of Tea Variety and tasty Continental Food. A complimentary Garlic Bread is served as soon as one settles down. I had Mediterranean chicken served with penne pasta and mashed potatoes. The gravy was basil-pesto based and was absolutely non-spicy.
For dessert I had Tiramisu ,which just melted away in my mouth. It was the best Tiramisu I ever had !! :)
There was a slight glitch while billing which was very courteously attended to by the Manager.
Will definitely visit again with husband to try other stuff on the Menu !!!

Truly Tealicious

I was one of the invitees for the Burrp 'Tealicious evening' @ Infinitea. What can I say. Lovely fare, paired with the best teas that I have tasted (didn't know teas can go so well with Continental food). The Food served was just delicious and the teas were perfectly paired with every course. The Chef offered us with some great options to choose from. While every dish served was spectacular, the Prawn Thermidor and the Cheese cake served for dessert really stood out as outstanding. It was a lovely evening with fantastic food, awesome teas and great company. Big Thank you to Burrp! and Infinitea for making it so special. Looking forward to more of such adventures.

Tealiciously Yours

I have been here quite a few times but always sampled the Teas here but not the food. I was fortunate to be a part of Burrp's Tealicious Evening at Infinitea.

The food was fantastic and Chef Gaurav was gracious enough to offer smaller portions to those who were already full with the multi-course meal.

I had a fantastic time and will be sure to be here again.

Tea Tea And More Tea...!!!

Infinitea is one of my favourite places as a tea lover ‘Tealicious evening organised by Burrp’ was a memorable evening with a five course dinner paired with teas.
The whole set menu was teamed with varieties of tea. My favourite amongst all was the - tea estate salad and memos with perfect chai. Being a foodie, I would suggest everyone to try Ravioli the best Italian food of the day which was bended with appetizing green tea. Herbal tea at Infinitea was also too good.
The best of all and the most amazing course of the meal was the New York cheese cake - I could not get enough of it!!!
Do visit Infinitea for scrumptious teas and mouth- watering food in Bangalore!!

Amazing Place Like Always

Been here twice in the last one week. First it was for burrp! Tealicious evening and team lunch after that. Burrp! event was just too good. Course 1, I went for Chicken Greek salad and Peach iced tea. Salad was very fresh and a perfect pairing with the tea. My choice for Course 2 - Chicken satay with Chai. This is my second favorite where in I loved the ground nut dip. 3rd course - Farm house pizza with Darjeeling tea. I am not a fan of thin crust pizza but farmhouse was definitely good. 4th course - Prawns Thermidor, I LOVE this. This was the best of all.Creamy and perfectly cooked to make sure the taste will be remembered for a very long time. Big thumbs up for this one. Finally we reached the last part. I picked Tiramisu and black Darjeeling tea. Perfect conclusion for an amazing event. Night to remember. Infinitea, Like always you have maintained the standards. Great place and definitely coming back for more.

Best Tea Place In The City

I was part of of Burrp ‘Tealicious Evening’ this month. Unfortunately, had got mixed reviews about this place from many friends. Nevertheless, whenever I crossed Cunningham road, would often plan to taste different kinds of tea at Infinitea. Finally, this month Burrp invited me to review - Five-course dinner paired with teas at Infinitea.

I must say that it is a well planned menu which offers array of tasty dishes from salads to desserts. Ambience, food, tea, service was flawless. We had a great time with few other bloggers. It’s already in my frequent visit list for best teas.

Good As Always!

Visited Infinitea twice in the span of a week, so a review was in order. The first time was part of Burrp's Tealicious Evening. It was on Jun 14th, a Friday, and the weather was perfect for delicious food and tea pairings.

As usual, Infinitea was packed but they had reserved a cosy corner for ten burrpers. We soon settled down and Gaurav Saria, the chef and owner at Infinitea, started sending out the goodies from the kitchen.

First, we started with refreshing iced teas and salad. I went with the Greek Salad since I love Feta cheese. The walnuts in the salad gave it a nice crunch, and the feta cheese was fresh, soft and crumbly. The dressing was perfect and did its bit in enhancing the freshness of the veggies in the salad.

We moved on to the momos paired with hot piping chai. The combination was perfect! The spice in the momos went beautifully with the sharp notes of the chai. The chicken momos at Infinitea have always been a favourite with me and this time too they did not disappoint.

There were two main courses at the Tealicious Evening. For the first round, I went with the Ravioli in a tomato sauce. The ravioli was perfectly done and the tomato sauce was a great accomplice to it. For the second round of main course, I chose the Fettuccine with Blue Cheese. The slightly sour flavour of the Blue Cheese came out nicely in this dish. And the German blended tea that came along with it was just divine.

Though we were stuffed we couldn't say no to the desserts on the menu. I, as usual, chose my all-time favourite - Tiramisu. It was creamy and just of the world. Do try it when you visit Infinitea!

It was a great event and we hope burrp! conducts more of these! :) But obviously I had not had my fill. So the next Friday, I was back at Infinitea for a team lunch. This time round, I gorged on the Jalapeno and Cheese Nuggets. A must have at Infinitea! The Chicken Parmigiana was also delicious. Will definitely order it again.

The best thing about this place is that they are one of the few restaurants that have maintained consistency in food and service. The service is well-informed and always helpful. Hope they keep it up for many years to come!

Quality of food has gone down drastically!

Love the ambiance of the place. Great selection of tea - try the chilly chilled tea and the stress blocker. Love the flavours. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone down - the menu can range for tasteless to reasonably good food. I like their Greek styled fish and the oriental chicken salad.

Dear Crags,

Thanks for the review.

We have to keep a lot of dishes which are completely "bland" to the Indian palate, because we get so many expat customers.

If you are at any time, unhappy with the dish you are served, please return/exchange it for another. We will gladly do that for anyone.

I hope you will be pleased to know that we are launching a Middle Eastern menu soon. Do ask for me next time you are there and i will fill you in on the details.

Not worth it!

Pros:
Good collection of tea items in the menu. Tea prices didn't seem too high and is comparable to other such high places

Cons:
1. Very uncomfortable sitting arrangements, uncomfortable wrought iron chairs and small tables, congested sitting and you won't be surprised if you hit someone while you try to lean back. No privacy or cosiness at all!
2. Atrocious pricing of food items in the sense that prices are ok, but in the same price, the quantities would be far more in other places
3. They charge Rs. 60 for a bottle of water which has the printed MRP of Rs. 20. So gauge it yourself
4. They probably consider everyone to be a diabetic (or post-modern!) and so they do not give sugar sachets with the tea. So you have to drink forced sugar less tea!
5. The rest room is pretty uncleaned and stinky

So overall, you get a feel as if someone is doing a favor to you by giving you whatever has been given and so you should keep shut and feel happy with it. The owner feels too bad to read the criticism, and I know he doesn't care if someone gives a bad feedback. He understands it well that Bangalore is a sellers' market and buyers would buy any damn thing being given to them. So no point really, but just as a feedback for the sake of it... thanks!

Dear Rohit,

Thanks for all the accusations and allegations against infinitea and Bangaloreans.
Especially, for the ones directed at me.

It always amazes me how someone can hate other people, without ever meeting them.
I do not think I have ever interacted with you, for you to have any right, to talk about me.

Also, we do not "consider" that all our customers are diabetic. There are all types of sweeteners available for anyone who asks for it.

Neither are we doing anyone a favor by serving them. It i

Not just tea and snacks

A great place to get some grub if you can decide what you really want. Infinitea serves a mix and match of a few different items on their menu. From some delicious momos to great fish and chips to some good european mains it has a little some thing for everyone.

My personal favourite in this place are the momos which are always getting sold out and their Bengali samosas which are quite simply the best samosas I have ever eaten. They have an excellent array of teas both iced and regular from all corners of the world in all flavours and can impress the most seasoned tea drinkers. With a limited but very tasty selection of salads and desserts there is little I can complain about.

Their layout is minimalistic but neat and the posters and other art on the walls makes for some entertaining reading while you wait for your meal.

All in all infinitea is a great place to go to if you want some thing different and cant really place your finger on what exactly to choose. Lunch dinner or an evening snack I am a regular visitor and will continue to be one.

Pros: - Different menu with good combination of cuisines
- flavours are unique and food is well prepared
- well located and good ambience and staff
- Haven for tea lovers

Cons: - Menu items are subject to availability some times can be disappointing to find something missing.

Love your comments on the momos and samosas. Greatly humbled by them.

On the cons: we would love to be able to keep everything in stock all the time, but because freshness and quality are so drastically inter-related, sometimes we run out, as we make very little. We try to keep making them as they get sold vs preparing the entire days worth in one go.

Thanks for being a regular and hopefully we can keep you coming back forever :)

Tea lover's haven

In a nut shell, this is a "Tea lover's haven". A tea lover can spend a whole day tasting various types of tea here. Teas from all over the world are listed on the menu and most of them are available. Though a bit pricey, food here is recommended.
Very good ambience with pleasing photographs on the wall, related to tea mostly, make it a pleasurable experience.

Tea Lovers' Paradise

Yesterday was the first time I had a full meal at infinitea- before that, this was my usual place for endless cups of tea and conversation with friends. How can one pass up a place that has quotes from Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter's Tea Party on the walls? Do absolutely try their kahwa, masala chai and oolong, they are heavenly! And yesterday, I found out that their pastas and pizzas are awesome too! yummy thin crust pizzas and cheesy lasagna .... my day was made :) Try the creme brulee too (share it, its heavy, but too delicious to pass). The only thing that I don't like about the place are the cakes, the cheesecakes especially, because they are gelatinous. Other than that, its a perfect place to sit back, eat, drink and be merry!

Tea and cake

After going through the extensive menu here, I finally decided to have Spencer's Spinach, but I was left disappointed. A simple thing like too much salt ruined the dish. Despite sending it back, it was just as salty. And given the small portion, I was still rather hungry. I think next time, I'll stick to the chocolate cake. Not much can go wrong with that.

They have the most wonderful collection of teas in Bangalore. I've however never had a chance to sample much food on their menu but i've heard its good :) A friend of mine who doesn't indulge in Chicken cooked outside can not resist the chicken here. Being an Indian, my favourite is the pot of Masala Chai. I've tried a few others here but this is my favourite. Old habits die hard ;) I am glad that this is on my side of town m/

Great Food, Bad Service

We frequent this place - great place for continental food. The Italian cuisine is done to perfection and the choice of teas are amazing. The only aspect lacking is the service - there are usually only 2 waiters around (busy and least interested in serving customers) and they often end up forgetting the orders or delaying quite a bit.

Atrocious pricing of food and tea

Gaurav, value might be a relative term but money is not.

I was buying Assam CTC tea from you for the last few years. I noticed that even though shops in other parts of the city kept their prices at the same level, you were the only one who increased it through the time. And now I have discovered a place in Banashankari 2nd stage who sells the same tea powder at 3/4th of your price!!

Not only the price of the tea powder/leaves, even the tea and food you serve has seen a huge increase in prices. From what I remember of the times I was visiting your place, a plate of samosa was about 60/-. If this gentleman who wrote below is right, then what explains the same plate of samosas being priced more than double?? Definitely cannot be value perception Mr. Gaurav.

Finally, there may be many people who will still give you business. Being in the prime business area will assure you of that. But for people like me, who seek value, avoiding your place is the only solution. And I did precisely that!!

April 10, 2012response from management at gauravsaria:

Gaurav,

You have the prerogative to price your products the way you want. No objections. But dont bring in the value perception into the discussion. Talking about the same samosas which you say were priced at 60 nine years ago, here is a piece of information. K C Das even today sells its samosas at Rs.10-Rs.12 a piece. Now that is called value. Mind you, I am not comparing a hole in the wall shop to your place. K C Das also has its shop in a prime location, their interiors are on par or better than yours but the prices are lower than

Not value for money

Went here some days ago. The ambiance was fine. I ordered a plate of samosa and an apple tea. The cost of the plate of samosa was mentioned as 140rs so I thought there must be really something special. When the plate came I was shocked. The 4 samosas were so small in size...half that of what you get on general shops. I thought anyways the taste must be really wonderful but I was dissapointed with the first bite. The filling was of normal aloo masala and less tasty than those at a halwai shop.

Now coming to apple tea, it was just fine. Nothing so great about it to be written about.

I had say the menu is very pricey and the quality is not something to warrant a second visit.

I finally got around to trying this quaint place. Had heard quite a bit about it from friends. I loved the posters up on the wall. Especially the ones with the Mad Hatter's tea party. Ooh and also the the paper cut lampshades. The designer in me was soopah thrilled!!! Coming to the tea. Loved everything about it, from the way the tea was infused, to the hourglass placed to time it and of course the flavour. I had ordered fish with some lemon sauce on the side to go with the tea. Must say that it was first time I actually enjoyed fish in lemon sauce in Bangalore. All in all a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely visit again.

Best tea lounge!

Haven't been here for quite some time. Finally,I decided to meet my friend here who, in fact, has never been here. When we arrived the place was packed but we managed to get a table in 2 minutes. So, we started off with tea and it was, undoubtedly, good. Moved on to the Jalapeno nuggets, it was definitely melt-in-the-mouth and had my friend wishing that she had discovered this tea lounge earlier. I was good to order another plate of nuggets but the lady was a little concerned about how she would have to spend another 45 minutes in the gym!! Moved on to the main course. I chose the Mediterranean fish and she was ready to chomp-down her Citrus fish. Man, why the hell can't we find anything to complain about this place! LOL! This place is too good! Perfect to make people happy!

tea, pasta and cheese cake

have been to this lazy, casual and freindly places sevaral times for lunch and dinner. The best thing I like about this place is that they never try to force you in a small table, they let even a single person sit on a table for 6 if no small tables are free.
The waitors are friendly, though dont do much of suggesting, as the menu gives a pretty clear idea of the dishes.
Teas are always a must try here, they have a huge variety to choose from.
I simply love thier pastas, their appetizers have been mostly disappointing especially the momo.
one thing you should never miss out infinitea is thier cheese cake, simply outstanding! Have tried out cheese cakes in many many places, but I nothing beats infinitea.

Tea Time

The aroma house....!! As soon as one enters the Cafe....the authentic look makes you happy. Tea all of different kinds. The Cafe people are good guides to what your taste is. They offer us variety of teas.
Each kind of tea is served in different fashion. I had tasted one with a strawberry. The tea is served in a teapot and it comes with a hourglass. Once the hourglass empties down, the tea is served.
Food is a bit over priced. But the awesome tea ompensates for everything.

Believe it or not, I've been in Bangalore for 6 years and it was only yesterday that I actually visited Infinitea with a friend for lunch. Though I've been hearing great things about this place since long I couldn't make a trip earlier. So me and a friend (who's a sworn Infinitea fan) land up for lunch on a Wednesday around 1.30 pm and the place is packed. We find a cozy nook and get comfortable in our seats. The menu is presented and I'm taken aback with the variety of teas on offer. Being a self-confessed tea-oholic it was difficult for me to not to order anything from their tea selection but since I've gone off caffeine for a few days I restrained myself. We ordered one portion of jalapeno & cheese nuggets, lemon butter fish for myself and my friend ordered Spaghetti Aglio e olio. The food arrived soon. Jalapeno and cheese nuggets were outstanding, one bite into it and I was swooning in a cheesy heaven!! No doubt they are one of Infinitea's best sellers. My lemon butter fish was simply yum and the sauce in particular was really nice. My friend's pasta was also great. We had a fantastic meal but I am not quite satiated still. I want to be back to sample some tea and soon.

My favorite place

This is my usual hangout place and I am never bored to go back again. My favorite tea is Pearls of the Mountain and Sage.

The food is great and my all time favorite is Veg RSG and Veg Mousakka. Yummmm.. My mouth waters as I think about it.

Great place to go and hangout.

Lets do cha cha cha

Some places just make you come back again and again, and Infinitea is a classic example.
The decor is minimalistic but very pleasing and it lends a very relaxing ambience to this place.
They have a huge selection of teas which is the highlight here, the tea leaves are served in a pot of boiling water and best had without milk. They also have a delicious masala chai though.
Though you shouldn't be mislead into beleiving this is just a tea joint. The food options are wonderful and so are the deserts. Highly recommend their RSG with corn rice. A relaxing and wonderful experience everytime....

Mediocre Experience

Based on the review earlier was keen to visit this place..ambiance was nice and different however service was poor.. we had to wait for good 15 - 20 mins wondering if its self service as no one bothered to attend us..Ordered a pot of masala tea which just ok and Dragon Puppets which was good. Probably give it another shot for some international flavored tea.let me keep my finger crossed for my next visit..

Warm & Inviting

I was introduced to this place by my hubby when we were dating in 2008. I had had a cold pasta that time, which was yummy!
So the past sunday, post my french class at alliance francaise, decided to catch up with a friend there, and the place is the same old place...love the ambiance! We had a warm pasta salad which was good. I thought to myself "what is a warm salad"...but it was surprisingly nice. and had some assamese tea.
You would think that a tea place wud not have good food as well...but this place is an expection!
Will keep visiting this place....two thumbs up!!

A nice quiet place for some nice tea.

Infinitea, of course sets high expectations of the tea they would serve. Since I am a little strapped for cash at this time of the month, I was looking for nothing fancy... just good old familiar tea. So, I ordered this thing they called Enigma on the Rocks, which I found under the Bitter Specials section. It was ok... although it would have tasted much better if it were a tad bitterer. My friend ordered Steamed Cottage Cheese Momos. They were delicious. The fare does considerable justice to the prices. The staff is attentive. And oh.. they're online too! So its a thumbs up for Infinitea.

Upscale tea...

This place boasts of tons of varieties of tea. The setting of the numerous jars of tea leaf on the shelf gives an unmatched appeal to this place. Been there a couple of times and would like to keep visiting.

New Menu - Top Stuff

Okay - they now have the best couscous in town!! Believe me - they beat the 5-Stars of the world in this respect!! The new cottage cheese momos are nothing like I have ever tasted - just deeelicious! And their blue cheese fettuccine is yum yum yum - and if you are there at tea time do try their goat cheese tart!! I know I sound like an Ad - but I think their new dishes are divine - so I am literally rallying to ensure everyone tastes it so it becomes a permanent feature!

Its truely good

Hey Gaurav,Been there last week of MARCH...we had few food from menu.good choices, all wer good. But have few suggestions that requires bit of improvement.
1)You need to change the menu-Make it short and Crisp-Coz when u have lot menu on list its confusing and if asked and not there its bad(I asked for a item, but wasn't available twice of my visits there)
2)Add variety to cold beverages.(its so limited)-y dont u try them same hot stuff with cold trial.
3)Mediterranean Fish should be lil more salty and medium spiced.I could enjoy the taste at all....
4)Mashed Potato ,u need to do something on it..it was bad(Not fresh)
5)Amazing garlic bread
6)Chicken Steak Sauce was good.(Grill the chicken rather applying batter an frying)
All the best..wish u flying colors

For a tea- lover that I am, not visiting Infinitea would have been a shame. But its not just about the many many varieties of excellent tea, its just the 'infinitea' experience that i love. From waffles to lasagne, the variety they offer in food, the location and most importantly the lively ambience is what makes it for me. Service can be better and some more choice for we, veggies..

Refreshing

At last a place that serves tea the way it is supposed to be. Not a coffee shop that keeps some tea bags for that idiosyncratic fellow.

Has a great collection of teas. Their collection of Darjeeling tea is really good.

Staff is knowledgeable and can suggest tea to suit your mood and taste. Haven't tried too many of their snacks, but what little I have they have been good.

Tea be or not Tea be: is the Question!

Set on Cunnigham road a few feet away from FUN CINEMAS is "infinitea",Sharing its space with 'Shezwan'(is it?) and a Curio/Carpet Seller.
If Infinitea comes from "infinite teas" then it is apty named: They have a Range that would make a tea lover loose sanity (for the right reasons).
For those who prefer a cuppa without getting into too many specifics: You will still be spoilt for choice with a terrific food/appetizers/dessert menu as well.

What works :
1) The place has a very "fresh" feel to it. It does not look heavy.Tea being a very old drink : so to speak: Was half-expecting the place to be like an old fashioned lounge with heavy furniture (Since this is a place done up by an actual plantation owners family: and a plantation guy reminds me of a hard drinking, cigar smoking person). On the contrary, they have a clean glass front wall: with all table tops made of glass. The Chairs match the 'lean' look. My fav. place has to be the bar stools towards the door. Looks uncomfortable to sit in, but when you do: is pretty neat. They have made good use of the space :If you do spend time observing, Hotels/Pubs/ Restos on the ground floor : do not like the use of too much glass (and even when they do ,they prefer to 'polaroid' it so you can see only one way, or for most part have a wall there Vs ones on the upper floors that use clean glass fronts so you can get a good 'view'. Infinitea is one exception to that rule ; in that it uses clean glass fronts that a) Allows for more natural lighting and b) The occasional beggar (even if this bothers you) cannot invade your space as you are seated well above ground level. The upper Mezzanine is (apparently) the smoking section .The Decor equally matches its environment. They have popular movie posters which are all 'themed' after tea. My fav. one was the 'Godfather' which said something about keeping your tea closer (keep your friends close: but your enemies closer) or something on those lines: with a tea cup hanging on the strings in B/W. They also have photos in B/W with black frames and clear PVC fronts. One other thing I liked was that they had their newspaper rack with newspapers and magazines kept in between the wall and a sheet of glass. It is transparent enough to know what you are reaching for. And you can pickup one of their visting cards : if you need to pass it along to someone. Good choice for those who intend to spread stuff thro 'word of mouth' (and dont get around to it!)
2) They have their Teas displayed in glass jars and you can even get a gift wrap (I remember I got Mom some ). They do a decent job and wrap it well in nice brown paper and string .Very reassuring to see them use the SAME tea when you do order for some :so you know that its of the same quality. We all know a lot of places that has a diffent 'front' and a different 'back office'.
3) Obviously, there is a great deal of Tea to choose from : and me not knowing heads or tails of it apart from the occasional variant of the Irani Chai: looked up to the Captain to tell me if I would be sane experimenting or sticking to my old guns. He did ask me what I preferred and since I wanted something a little offbeat: We settled on a pot of Lemon Grass tea. The tea arrived : with the person pouring the tea into a pot of hot water in front of me :leaving a tray of sugar cubes and a small timer (like a sand clock) there as well. I was informed to wait : and when the sand pours over, it was the right time to start pouring the tea. They do offer milk as a variant (in some types): but this is mostly done WITHOUT milk. And I am glad they choose to keep it that way.
From what I understand: Tea has some great "diuretic" properties that are neutralized by adding milk. A pot serves around three cups approx. Bewarned though, that if you have never tried tea without milk: its better you ask for the ones that are served with milk : as the tanin might be a little tough for some people to ingest without making a wry face! Mine, without milk, was not wry as the taste of Lemon grass does seep thro.Had a slight mint aftertaste: though 'mint' is a separately flavoured tea. For those who dont prefer their tea hot , they have a section of cold teas (and it does not stop at lemon or peach).I saw someone having an emerald green (Frozen) tea: Im not sure what the flavour was.
4) For those interested (equally) in the food : did you know that Infinitea is a wicked breakfast destination especially on Sat and Sundays?. They have got some great combinations : like the peasant's breakfast, Honey and Pancakes. Amazing stuff. And what a relief with some good tea to kick yesterdays hangover?
Some of the best pancakes Ive had here. Light and Fluffy and Honey is a great way to start the day light. Although for those who prefer something else: their Salads are pretty good too. Since this was a Sunday evening: I decided to get a Chicken Mediterranean Salad. Great tossing. The chicken and the penne salad with olives and lettuce and sun dried tomatoes was great. It is pretty filling as well. They also have some good pasta combinations (for those interested).
I did not do a desert : But Ive heard their Mudpie is a killer. Evidently for those who love chocolate: and layers of it!
Wallet factor : 600. Pretty neat for the novelty teas and the food that compliments it.

What didnt:
1) The single loo towards the end is ok. And is clean. But I have to try the door knob everytime to find out if there is someone in there. Cant you put in one of those "Engaged/Free" signs for the lock? Makes it a lot more easier : and avoids embarrasement.
2) The smoking section is on the Mezzanine . I get it. But if all of them decided to smoke up there: where does the smoke circulate? especially when you have the entire place closed up for the AC? I dont have a problem with secondary smokers : but some might find the entire idea not credible.
3) Didnt notice cloth napkins. Im not sure if they had to be there anyways. :)

Overall 4 for the innovative idea that works for you : end-to-end,the range that you have and the good service.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Just have a few comments regarding what didn't work. 1 - The loo has an "Engaged/Free" knob for the lock. Sometimes the guests forget to lock it though. 2 - Infinitea is smoke free since the ban on smoking in public places came into effect. 3 - We use tissues. Hope this information was useful and look forward to seeing you here soon. For any clarifications please feel free to contact me.

February 25, 2011response from management at KEWLHERC2JZ:

Oh. I meant like the "engaged/vacant" types with the text on the outside. Not the "press on the inside door knob" ones. That makes it easy to see for someone on the outside . If you do have it : If you do have it . I probably didnt notice it. Will make an effort:)
Keep up the good work.

Liked it

It was a chance visit to this place. and since I was there with my best friend, food was not the criteria. Ambience of this place is good. Not loud nor very quiet. The food spread was reasonable and the tea options were good as well.
The rivioli pasta and ice were good and so was the chai. It is not very costly too.
If you are in this part of Bangalore and would like to try this place, it will not turn our to be a abad choice to make

Refreshing tea, Bad food and a great Ambience

Infinitea is one of my very regular hang out places. The ambience is simple and welcoming, simply awesome. Love the decor.

The variety of tea available is vast.. And not to forget you can pick some goodies at the store too. The part I love the most is you can be at the table for hours without being disturbed.

The food service is definitely questionable. Especially Veggies out there, look before you munch into the veg momo, there have been at least 4-5 instances where I have been served chicken momo's instead. The waiter has no remorse and looks at you as if you lost your taste buds. The summer pasta salad is quite good and the sandwiches are good for a quick bite.
Recommended for one of those lazy evenings when you want to just sit by the window and watch the traffic go by..

Awesome then, Questionable today!

Infinitea has always been a place that I would go to if I wanted good food, without compromising on quality, I have been there for the past 4 years almost, no day was I dissapointed.
This visit kind of changed my impression about this place. The stewards even know what I ordered and what I like.
I noticed one thing, that their quantity is going down and pricing has gone up(the pricing was up, but the reduction of the quantity has appeared from nowhere!)
The worst of all, the manager has the nerve to argue that it hasn't. The Paneer in the veg Cacciatore was hard, I requested for more mushrooms and it was forgotten completely and they said they could give mushrooms on the side....all this during one visit! Isn't it a little too much deal with?
I don't quite understand where has the quality gone and hospitality gone?

For the number of times I've eaten here - I don't expect too much - other than the good food. But with so many new places in Bangalore - I can start giving this place a miss, just for the bad service. They have kickass sandwiches and continental food...but ask for your whole wheat and tuna sandwich with veggies instead of the yummy fries and they will not do it.

Refreshing tea but bad service!

Infinitea as the name suggests is all about the different varieties of tea. If you want a refreshing change from going to a coffee shop, then i suggest you head here. The first time i went, i had a good experience. The waiters were courteous, the food was nice. i didn't find the chicken momos as good as everyone made it seem. I loved the spinach toast! I had a nice hot mango tea which wasn't on the menu. My friend being an old timer requested one and it was certainely one i wanted to try out again. the next time i went, the waiter did not co-operate at all!! from ordering the hot mango tea, which he refused to check with the kitchen whether they had it or not, to the food....it was a frustrating experience!! The food and tea are quite nice but if the waiter is not going to comply with your requests, you might as well leave and not turn back.

Great Place

A colleague of mine has been wanting to check this place out for a while and so, today, we decided to spend the larger part of the evening here. Joined by another colleague, we set off for Cunningham Road, parked our respective cars and strolled into Infinitea. I love the upstairs seating and so, we walked up the wooden flight of stairs located in a corner of the tea lounge and, sat down on a comfortable group of seats on the first floor. The menus were handed to us and we chose a Buck Thorn White Thorn Tea and a plate of steamed Chicken Momos. The hot water for the tea arrived in a glass pot and was accompanied with a sand timer. We looked on with interest as the waiter poured the tea leaves into the glass pot and set the timer. A few minutes later, the sand had run out and the tea was ready to be poured. Taking up the cute stainless steel strainer which the waiter had placed on our table, we poured out the tea into our respective cups. Though we were three and the pot was ideally for two people, we each had a fair amount to drink. The tea tasted wonderful even though it was sugarless and milkless (I usually don't enjoy the taste of tea without sugar and milk). The steamed Chicken Momos came accompanied with a Red Chilly Sauce and also tasted marvellous. There was also quite a quantity of them. Tea and Momos over, we asked for the menus and ordered a Mango Tea (no longer on the menu but a favorite of one of my colleague's for the past few years) , Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, and Spinach Toast. The Mango Tea arrived quickly and was accompanied with a bowl of sugar lumps and a small jug of milk. I enjoyed a very flavourful cup and then turned my attention to the rather black Chicken pieces. However the two pieces I ate tasted lovely and I smothered them in the delicious tasting and well-prepared Peanut Sauce. I also tried a little of my colleague's Spinach Toast and enjoyed it. Food and Tea over, we once again asked for the menus and this time, ordered dessert - a Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Icecream. The dessert when it came, tasted amazing and had a fudge sauce poured on a portion of it. After that came the bill, a very reasonable one, considering the amount we had eaten and drunk. We paid it, got an obliging waiter to take our snaps and then left. My view of the place is that its amazing. The ambience is great and there are lovely black and white pictures on the wall as well as other interesting paintings. The furnishings are quite nice and the upstairs is definitely more "loungy" than the downstairs. The menu is quite extensive for tea and ok for a snack. The service is quite cheerful and very fast. The prices are reasonable. All in all, a great place to visit and bring in a weekend.

December 30, 2010response from management at footloose:

Your welcome!

What's not to like ?

At first you have the brilliant snacks. The delicate chicken momos with their super hot chilli sauce, the excellently filled Bengali Samosas and the brilliant salads.

Then you have the heartily proportioned main courses. I am extremely partial to their Mediterranean Chicken. Its chicken breasts cooked in an intense pesto sauce with al dente Farfalla and mashed potato on the sides. Its so yum that I would have gone there just for this.

However, its the tea that finally blows your mind away. The ice teas are a revelation (ah the mint!). If you are into the hotter fares, try the saffron, masala chai or the Assam tea and you would not go amiss. I am still ticking off one tea at a time. Each one has its unique merits so may be you should figure out for yourself which tea suits you best. Be adventurous, it is a tea joint after all.

Then about desserts. I would say if you must, have the Tiramisu or the cheesecake. They are excellent but as someone else suggested you might as well as go to Rahila's and satiate your sweet buds.

Stands tall among all the coffee bars

I visited Infinitea a long time ago, when the concept was first introduced in Bangalore. A place where tea and not coffee took precedence. And when I say tea, it is much much more than the milk and sugar variety.

We decided to sit on the mezzanine floor at a comfy corner table. The tea menu was given to us separately much like a bar menu. Hubby, a staunch coffee drinker decided to try the strong flavored pomegranate ice tea. It was really nice ice tea with a reaaallly strong flavor of pomegranate. I decided to have one of the bitter teas - Enigma. To me it looked like scotch on the rocks and was really nice to sip on.

Starters was Dragon Puppets which was fritters of mashed potatoes and chicken, crumb fried and served with a tangy salsa. There was an equal proportion of mashed potatoes and chicken, which you don't really find in places that offer these kinds of dishes.

For main course, I ordered the first thing on the menu, Chicken a la Kiev. It was just too tempting to pass by. The description of garlic encased in chicken, served with mashed potatoes and garlic bread was too wonderful to let up. What came was a wonderful crumb fried case of chicken, mashed potatoes and garlic. Once the knife went through, there were rivulets of seasoned butter flowing out. The case was a little tough on the knife but overall the taste was fantastic.

Hubby ordered the Pesce Florentine which was fillet of fish spread on spinach mashed potatoes and topped off with a garlic white wine sauce and baked in cheese. Absolutely and sinfully fantastic. How I managed to convince hubby dear to exchange plates in between the meal beats me.

Dessert was the Italian trifle jam sponge which was custard creme topped off with chocolate shavings. I am assuming it was heavenly because junior polished it off to the last morsel.

To round off the meal we decided to have a pot of Pearls of the Mountain. These are teas that are fermented and rolled into balls that unfurl when they are dropped in boiling water. The boiling water and an hour glass is brought to the table and the pearls are tipped in, in front of you. You can actually see them open up and all the color and flavor spread in the pot.

Infinitea, in my opinion stands tall among all the coffee places in Bangalore. It has that little something that seems to be missing in all the places that peddle the same type of coffee under different names. Service is quick and you know the waiters are well versed with the menu when they can complete the name of your order with just one word out of your mouth. The loo is unisex and clean. The bill came to Rs 1100 which was well worth every penny.

I rely like this place..good for breakfast. I ve been here lik 2-3times and all d time it was for breakfast. I had green tea and my friend had a normal indian tea, which was good. Both our teas were good and I had ordered eggs, which were really nice. And once i had dis cake( dont remember d name), which was really reallly good. Its a bit pricey..considering a normal 6rs tea for 80rs n all. But its good. And i like :)

Worth a Visit!

Even though this place is situated on the busy Cunningham road, one cannot help but think you have entered another world as you step into Infinitea. Black and white pics (with a tea cup in common) and posters with witty sayings (Drink and Drive, Make Tea not War) adorn the walls. Even their coasters have quotes on tea. I was impressed with the owner?s passion and fascination for tea.

They have two menu cards: one for tea of course and the other for short eats and food. Tea is pricey (starting from Rs 90 per cup/pot) but the tea lovers vouch for it. Both the times, we have been there we tried Italian food. It was good.

Service is prompt and the waiters are courteous.

Ideal place to be in on a rainy day sipping piping tea enjoying a good company.

December 23, 2010response from management at gauravsaria:

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.

So-So

me and the wife stopped in to have a quick dinner on a rainy evening. We'd decided to have some soup and a quick bite before heading to bed.
I ordered the Cream of chicken, the wife the tomato. My dread with places serving soup is the utter disregard for what makes a soup special--fresh ingredients with something that wants you to come back for more. Both were missing here. One taste and the wife sighed, 'Darshini style?' i asked, she nodded. I had mine. got pieces of maida or thickening agent that was used. Strike one big one against the place.
If infinitea wanted to be a tea shop, specialize in it. the tea's are great, but the food.... thats another matter for that night.
All in all, a terribly disappointing experience.
The saving grace was the mixed veggies and sun dried tomato's and rice. The veggies were crisp and the sauce not overwhelmingly 'white'. Guess i'll head ove to the closest Darshini for tomato soup and my small pieces of fried bread as croutons.

Quite finite

have been t this place off and on over the past several years. Probably because I am not a tea drinker - at least not the fancy stuff that they sell at high prices. But I would not fault them much on the concept since it has its takers

My last experience, a forgettable one revolved around two things I tried here - the Veg Momo and the Flower Tea. I tried both because I thought there just maybe something special in these

The Momo was ordinary to say the least. I and my friend pointed it out and told them what was wrong with it. well, they at least trie dto make it again- but it was equally bad. So my issue with these guys is that they are hyped for the food quality they provide

The flower tea was an equally big disappointment. I guess they do not know how to make it. They need to brew it a bit more before they give it. It was flavourless, tasteless and odourless - all of which dont make sense. Being bad on Dim Sum is acceptable for a tea place but being below par on tea is just not done

Infinitea: A Big Thumbs Up

This isn't my first visit here and it definitely won't be my last. Situated on Cunningham Road, right next to Shezan, this place is a typical Bangalore establishment that I adore.

So one chilly Sunday night, four of us set out to Infinitea to once again taste its various culinary delights. The ambiance is soft and understated. It' the type of place where you can enjoy a long, relaxed meal and talk for ages without being hurried along by harried waiters. That said, this is also not the place to go for a quick lunch since the service is a little lazy.

For starters, we ordered Mozarella Fritters - these were fried cubes of cheese and it would be a little difficult to go wrong with these. The dip was tomato based and tangy - a nice complement. The others ordered dragon puppets (a chicken starter) which was nice and filling, apparently. Pasta Putanesca is what I chose to order that day and it was a fine choice. It was penne tossed in a tangy tomato sauce with olives, garlic, other veggies and garnished with parmesan cheese (Drool!). Another hot favourite here is the lasagna. Much to my friend's dismay, they rarely have chicken lasagna and one must make do with its vegetarian brother (or sister??). Still, the lure of the cheesy lasagna proved too much and my friend settled for the vegetarian lasagna. While many of my friends swear by this dish, I find it a little too cheesy (Yes, I can hear the loud gasps). Can something be too cheesy? Yes, it can. While the first bite or two is heavenly, it becomes a little bland and monotonous after that. Towards the end, one ends up adding copious amounts of oregano and chilli flakes and in which case one might as well have ordered the double cheese margherita at Dominos. I still recommend that you try it at least once. The quantities are good and meant for those with healthy Indian appetites.

And now we come to the truly exciting part about the place - the tea (Surprise! Surprise!). I'm not a huge fan of hot tea but I love the Assam tea here. The way they serve the tea makes it all the more special. On this occasion however, I chose to play safe with standard lemon ice tea. Someone ordered the chocolate tea milkshake, which is very nice but has hardly any tea in it. They might as well have labeled it chocolate milkshake (but then it wouldn't sound half as exotic and lure us poor souls to order it, would it?).

The cheesecake here is awesome. However, it might be better to take a little walk to Fresco's and have the dessert there (More on the dessert at Fresco's (Heaven!) later). I only wish they had a greater vegetarian selection. But you should most definitely try this place. It receives a Big thumbs up from me.

why the hype?

i've never really understood why this place is raved about? yes, it's a cute little joint and the only tea spot in the city but the food is definitely not something to rave about. the pasta is always overcooked and mushy, the noodles are always soaked with too much of whatever they put on it, and the highly hyped momos are really quite bland.

bangaloreans, we need to stop hyping this place because it's starting to sound like we have no taste buds!

Nice tea

and it better be
with a name like infintea
the momos were blaah
the oolong was waah
and the bill came tumbling after......

Its an okay place for lunch, keep the focus on the tea, if you get as distracted as they are, you may as well try pancakes at Sandhya next time.

Sensual + Tea = Sensualitea!

A friend and I, both having stomach upset, throat infection in addition to the craving to have something very soothing, mildly spiced and helps us feel better, landed in Infinitea after debating on a few other places in Bangalore.
Infinitea is on the busy Cunningham road, diagonally opposite to Sigma Mall and next to Shezan Restaurant.

We entered to see a not so big dining hall and merely crowded ground floor and totally crowded first floor. We made ourselves comfortable in the ground floor. All the walls are covered with quirky lines related to tea and nice pictures contrasting the off-white wall color, gives infinitea a neat look without taking away any of the warmth. The tables along the huge windows, which overlook traffic-filled Cunningham Road looked very inviting and was a perfect place for a leisurely evening tete-a-tete.
Opposite the entrance, one would find a huge showcase displaying the variety of tea on sale!! The list is too huge and too many to pen down.

A courteous waiter came with 2 different menu cards – one, consisting the list of exotic teas that are available there and the other on the food. The food mainly consists of European / Continental Cuisine. The Tea menu had the list of both which satisfies the ones who love their Tea Hot and also those who prefer Iced Teas.

My friend opted for the Kashmiri Tea – Kahwa, the all time favorite for many here, which combines the subtle taste of Cardamom, Almond and others in addition to the freshly made and filtered tea on the table. I opted for a green tea – primarily, coz’ I love it and secondly, coz’ it’s supposed to be very healthy. Without wasting much time, they quickly served our much awaited teas. I was blown away by the aroma of the Kashmiri Tea. My Green Tea was natural sweeter than the other Green Teas in the list.
I had to wait a little longer than my friend as I preferred it a little stronger.
To munch along, we’d ordered Bruschetta (Though we wanted to eat the steamed Momos as my friend loves it and was vouching Infinitea makes the best momos here). A very nicely done with finely chopped tomatoes, cheese and herbs made the Bruschetta a hit amongst us. The craving to have more of food here increased with every sip of tea and every bite of the bruschetta. Since, my friend was in a mood to eat rice, we ordered the Basil Rice with the Gravy. The mild gravy consisted of paneer, capsicum, mushroom, carrot and onion. This was perfect for the two of us who were unwell that day – light and less spicy. On a normal day, this quantity would suffice one person.

Service was good and prompt. A meal for two is approximately around Rs.450/-

I highly recommend this place for the super cool and chic ambience, quick service, ofcourse the delicious and commendable food and a comfortable pricing!

The First Tea Bar in India

I call myself a Tea Connoisseur. Not many people take my word for many things but if you are die-hard fan of this beverage, you will find yourself at rest in this place. On this, trust me.

Of all the teas, that I wanted to try out, I have found them all in here. The variety of them is incredible! I have NEVER met so many types of teas under one roof (some of which I didn't even find in the Department Stores in Singapore). They serve them at your table or you can buy a packet and make it in the comfort of your own home. Either ways you would find an experience that can finally be termed as 'too good'.

I won't go into the details of what to eat and what not (nothing!) or what was bad and what wasn't, but saying 'Go by your instinct' is more apt here than cliched.

Bangalore's finest tea spot

I am not very kind when it comes to reviewing restaurants, for me to like some place and keep going there for 4 years in a row means this is seriously some good food!Infintea is located centrally on Cunnigham Road and its got very innovative English teahouse interiors with some quirky paintings and sayings. The music ranges from soft rock to classics to very weird Far East music(which I somehow cannot seem to appreciate)!

The tea choices are varied but my favorite is Assam CTC, its brewed to perfection!I am a veggie so my number 1 for 4 yrs has been the Summer Pasta Salad(this is simply divine) and the fried veg momos are a good choice too.But this doesnt end at just short eats, there is quite some variety in Italian main courses though I ve managed to find only the Thai green/red curry with rice to be very good. This is a great place to go to for a delicious breakfast on a weekend as well, you get pancakes with maple syrup, waffles and eggs with your choice of toppings and much much more! And the best part is its quite inexpensive compared to the exorbitant rates that are charged in many of the restaurants in Bangalore!Go here for a guaranteed good time(tends to get very crowded beyond 9 pm and always crowded during weekends)!

Brilliant!!!

The momos, the teas, the bruscetta and tiramissu cake are just divine in this hip but classy joint.

Waiter service is excellent and I will be one of the places I go to eat in Bangalore again and again.

Just a warning: The upstairs area is a smoking area, while downstairs is non smoking.

The Best tea Bar.

Infinitea- the India’s first tea bar is heaven for all Tea lovers. As you enter the aroma of the beverages caresses you. The ambience is classic & sophisticated. The posters & pictures with snippets of information all around reflect the beauty of the Queen of the hills (Darjeeling). The menu offers a range of exotic teas, with more than 50 tea recipes. It certainly promises a good time.
Darjeeling, the land of muscated flavored Darjeeling tea revered by connoisseurs across the globe and being a Nepali I choose to go for Setting Saffron, which is a blend of Indian home made syrup with traditional ingredients and fine teas from Darjeeling. I was speechless. I couldn’t ask for more. And with momo to eat, it was nostalgic. The place took me back to my golden days in Darjeeling.
Darjeeling tea is always favorite among tea drinkers but there are other interesting teas to try out like the Avongrove stupa, which is a flower tea. The tea bud is put on a cup on which boiling water is poured. Slowly the bud then blooms into a flower inside the cup & the flavor of the tea infuses into the hot water.
A note of caution. Some teas like Enigma on the rocks can get you tipsy, as it has a mild flavor of whisky.
At Infinitea you savour the flavor of every sip of tea. Drinking tea here is a wonderful experience with a range of delectable teas & delicious dishes and above all the warm hospitality which will make you enjoy your visit to Infinitea every time. The teas are priced reasonably, a cup cost Rs 45/- at the minimum and can go up to Rs250/- for a pot that serves two. The tea bar also has a counter selling both loose & packed tea leaves to carry home along. The tip for all, drink tea with out sugar or milk. They are best enjoyed pure. So for an unmatched experience, head to Infinitea at Cunnigham road.

Cost: Expensive.
Cleanliness: Very Good.
Quality: Excellent.
Service: Excellent.
Ambience: Excellent.

Best Tiramisu

A few years ago my hunt for good Tiramisu took me to a few places in Bangalore, but no place was satisfactory until I tasted Tiramisu in Infinitea.

At Rs 75/per piece, this Tiramisu is the best I have tasted in Bangalore and highly recommend it. If you want to take it to go, they pack each piece individually in foil. Very satisfying.

Delicate

Infinitea has been recently renovated .

Went back recently , gone is the yellow and orange. hip cafe look A more sophisticated , woodsy feel now . Growing up, it seems. And the airconditioning in the double height restaurant now really works. Nice .

No dramatic menu changes. Chef stays. Food is just as good as before . Service as usual is patient , warm, well meaning but trifle piecemeal.

Try the Hawaiin salad - its fantastic, fresh, julienned pineapple and chicken with fresh basil in a tangy thousand island dressing . Served with a side of iceberg lettuce and bell peppers. Order the crisp , buttery garlic bread to go with it . Ahh excellent .

Ordered the Chicken Sicilian , very nice. Asparagus, white sauce and a crispy cheese crust cover succulent chicken.

All the rest of it , Mediteraanean Chicken , Chicken with Sundried Tomatoes in Basil Rice , and Greek Fish are staples that will always rule. Vegetarian food is good too. The teas, and the Tiramisu is lovely as always .

As the owner came in and chatted with us , he felt that the trick was - the ingredients are fresh , and of the highest quality , and yes, you are right, he eats there .

A meal for 2 , a starter , two entrees , ice tea, no dessert , could be Rs 700 or so . Irritatingly, they do not accept Diners or Amex cards.

A getaway place during the monsoons

excellent snacks and meals, good collection of teas - ok what else do you want? :)

try the momos and the grilled / burnt fish - good stuff. the salads are just right - not the gooey mayo stuff that you get all over the town.

the photgraphs of dajeeling all over the places gets me nostalgic whenever we visit the place. do go there - gets a little crowed due to corporates and schools / colleges being in the same area but the good thing is that you can park your vehicle right across the street in the parking lot of Sigma mall!

Great for a drink as well as a bite

I love this place.. On the main Cunningham road, in front of reliance web world, its easy to find but it might be a little hard to find parking.
Seating is cosy, with some couches and has a mezzanine layout so you could almost always find a place.
Serves great teas, kahwas and iced-teas, with some flavours I had never heard of. Also sells some great teas at reasonable rates.
Desserts are great and yummy and they have a table selling home made chocolates (presumably, since I have never bought any!)
Also, they provide wi-fi at a nominal charge, so you can bring along ur lappie/pda and surf while you sip!

Keeps me going back always!

This would be the kind of place I'd like to frequent on a regular basis. I wish there were more like these around! I am surprised no one has come up with reviews for this place before.

When it opened 3 years ago, infinitea as the name suggests, served infinite tea... you could get tea and only tea there albeit different varieties of it. For tea lovers, this was bliss. For me, it was not. Especially since, at that time, the waiter over there refused to give me sugar to go with the tea. I think he was inducting me to the tea culture. But I was deeply offended by that and resolved not to step inside the place ever again!

My resolution did not last for long. I used to pass by Cunningham Road very often and Infinitea always seemed to beckon me. Another fine day, and I decided to try out this tea bar again. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see the eloquent food menu they had added. It fit in quite nicely with the settings. The menu is quite cosmopolitan as is the crowd that frequents the place.

The ambience is also pretty good. During day time, there's hardly any need for artificial lighting, cos they have the daylight streaming in through the windows in one wall. During the night, the lighting is done just right with soft yellow lighting. Not too bright, not too dark. The seating - you have an option with the high table & chairs kind of seating near the entrance, to two seaters and some cosy couches which are almost always occupied.

You can find momos nestled in the menu besides chicken cacciatore and baked fish. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I still keep going there for more. The college/young crowd over there seem to gobbling up momos perpetually. I agree with them. They are quite yummy... The rest of the food, is served as in most Euro restaurants. no rice with one side order of curry here. It all comes together, very artistically arranged and at very affordable prices.

They serve breakfast too, which I did try out once. But this I was not very impressed with. I was expecting something like an IHOP breakie. But nope, that wasn't even good enough to lick the IHOP shoes. And pretty expensive too. So I don't go for the breakfast anymore. But anyother time is always the best time to go there!

My picks - steamed momos both chicken and veg are great, cubbon fish, baked fish, blackened fish, greek fish, tiramisu, frozen mud something...
