For a quick bite
My friend and I after watching the worthy Clash of Titans at PVR, started walking towards the Raheja Arcade. When we were thinking on where to go, I recollected reading reviews on Liwa Café in Koramangala. I dont know what made me assume but, I thought its on the same road as that of Raheja Arcade and walked quite a bit. Later, it was too much of a walk and when we dint figure it out, we called up the café to find out the landmark. They are in the lane after Hungry Panda and before Vodafone stores.
The nest part was after I called them to check on the location, the concerned person called me back to check if am in the right direction towards the café. Well, good customer service indeed.
Its a small café consisting of 3 settees and 4 tables for 2. Each table had some games like Brainvita et all. We started playing the same and the menu was handed over to us. The menu consists of some energy drinks, coffees, smoothies and snacks.
I had a Brownie Treat and Veg Sandwich where as my friend opted for Ice Café. Brownie Treat was good and I could feel the ground granules of brownie as I sipped my drink. My friend was kinda happy with his drink as well. But, my sandwich was nothing great. Infact, it wasnt even grilled. It just had some vegetables and sour cream in it and when asked why it wasnt grilled, the staff mentioned, its done only if the customer asks for it.
Its a ok place. Small and cozy. We were told, they are gonna start serving pastas and Iranian food and drinks soon. A small snack for 2 with some drink costs around 200 bucks. It was only the college crowd I found the day I was there! Good place but nothing great!
