This Fourth of July, Portland Steakhouse and Cafe announces exciting new dishes in addition to their classic menu. Diners can choose from prime-cut steaks, juicy burgers, lamb, chicken and seafood that are grilled to perfection, with a range of popular steakhouse sauces and sides, including hot marinades, and fragrant and smoky spice rubs using different chillies from around the world. The main course options include lamb chops, lasagna, spicy beef stew and roasts. The restaurant also uses seasonal ingredients, fresh salads, soups, hand-rolled pastas and entrees for vegetarians. Guests can also opt for small plates or tapas that give diners a chance to sample creative combinations and unique flavours. The restaurant's in-house bakery produces artisanal breads, German pretzels, apple and peach pies, tarts, tiramisu and New York style cheesecake. The cafe menu includes a coffee that is specially blended from a 100 year-old local estate. It also includes steaming cappucci no, espresso, a single estate tea selection, smoothies and mocktails. Also on offer is a selection of thin-crust pizzas, hoagie sandwiches, cakes and waffles with fruit.
