'Biryani King' of Frazer town, Good options for side dishes
I have found Rahhams to be the best in the whole of Frazer town when it comes to Mutton Biryani, (though it is not made from Basmati rice). The side dishes such as teeter (quail) fry and prawn fry are out of this world. Don't go for their chicken kababs, I had ordered their chicken Kabab multiple times over the past few months, each time hoping that they would improve, the chef had managed to consistently disappoint me every time with burnt kababs. Alternatively you may want to try their sholay kababs (boneless pieces of chicken fried and subsequently roasted on a tawa, making it slightly crispy) which are equally good. Mutton sheekh kabbabs are also good.
Overall the food is exceptionally good (barring the burnt chicken kababs), menu has quite a lot of options for the food lover, ambience is not that great, service leaves scope for improvement.
Go to this restaurant if you want to entertain your taste buds and are not that much bothered about the ambiance and/or service. Ideal for lunch / dinner with friends / family.
If you are someone who loves Mutton Biriyani, and have not been here, you are missing out on something that is out of this world. This outlet is one of the first to open. I have been here several times and I can swear by it you will never get this type of delicious Mutton Biriyani anywhere in Bangalore atleast. It is the closest that comes to the delicious Mutton Biriyani served at Muslim weddings and the best part it comes with the famous kheer. Along with the Biriyani one can order their famous mutton chops, which are truly divine. The ambiance of the place is very comforting as it is a full air conditioned unit. All together everyone must taste their Mutton Biriyani.
