Whats in the Platter ?

Had been to The Platter today, we were 8 of us,as the name goes there are variety of platters from salad to soups, it’s a new concept. We started with Masala papad and they were good, next came the soups and I did not find anyone leaving it halfway. I specially had the hot and sour chicken soup which was delicious, from the soup I judged that the food will be good and I am happy that my judgment atleast in food does not go wrong! Some of the soups we tasted were tomato shorba, manchow soup.

Next we ordered 2 platter one veg and one non veg. The veg platter had baby corn manchury, harabhara kabab and panner tandoori and some round ball, which were lovely both in looks and taste.

Spicy Non veg platter followed , it was filling and piping hot and consisted of chicken tandori, fried chicken wings, pepper chicken and chicken lolypop ,each item had four pieces, it was yumm!!

Platter was filling on its own, so very less space was left to try out other things, but there were some courageous who ordered for aloo paratha, nan and noodles. Noodles were very good also the bread
(rotis)but vegetable curries took our appreciation for the food and place a bit low as they were not up to the mark.

Service is good, ambience is also soothing nice for family of 5-8 members. I hope that they get good business as its just opposite to medical college (KIMS) provided they pep up their veg curry standard because a doctor or common man finally pays to have good and long lasting tasty food from his hard earned money!

Thank you for the detailed and 4 star review Mrs. Seemadnayak. With all the best interests for our customers, sometimes we still fall short to give the best of service, product and experience. We take your feedback about the taste of our veg gravy with stride and take appropriate steps to ensure better experience the next time you visit our restaurant. Thank you once again.

Greatness in a platter

Must try

Visited this place last evening with my husband. Locality, ambience and service was too good. Whatever we ordered from soup to dessert was good
My husband loved the mango phirni.
I would recommned this place and visit once again. Had a very peaceful time here.

Exciting Concept - Platters

Visited “The Platter” with a couple of friends and had an amazing time. To start with the ambience of the place was quite nice and the watchman helping us park the car was very sweet.
Amazing cocktails to start with and yummy veg starter platter and some crumd fried mushrooms just made our evening. Main course was some French loaf spread and lasagna just hit our taste buds the way it needs to be.
The most catchy thing in the place was the pool table which kept us occupied and never realized we had spent almost 4 hours in the place.
Overall a brilliant experience and would surely visit again shortly.

Must Visit - Concoction of cuisine

The place provides a Concoction of cuisine, absolute pleasure to a group / family tht has diverse taste buds.

Excellent Ambiance compliments the spread and definite VFM (Value for Money).

Must Visit in the vicinity.

Thank you for the 5 star bonvivantrachin.

Interesting concept

I was @ The Platter today with my family. We ordered a mix shorba platter soup, one exotic salad platter, one starter platter ( can't recall the correct name) to begin with. The idea of offering soups, salads, starters, rice, gravy in platters was interesting but took some extra time to choose among the options. The one thing about the platter system I liked was that they offer a couple of platters that have a mix of both veg and nonveg.
We were a table of 5 with 2 veg and 3 nonveg. The soup platter had 4 varities with 2 veg and 2 nonveg. The interesting combination on the salad platter was kosumbari, green salad, tangy macaroni and Florida salad and the quantity was decent. For the main course we decided to go for the a al carte and ordered for 6 butter rotis and 2 paneer koftha masala, curd rice. Didnt have any space for desserts but saw some new items such as mango phirni, rice kheer, caramel custard etc.
The taste of the food was good and the mushroom something in the starter platter was the best of the lot.
One issue we had was that we had to wait a bit for us to get our food. But that can be forgiven as the food was tasty and fresh.
Good touch with the interiors. Over all a good experience.
Bill amount was 1,920/-
