Horrible

Had a horrible food on 1st Jan night @three quater chiness. Ambiance is ok but food is horrible. One chicken dish has chicken was stinky. It's smelling horriblly. When we informed manager then they changed but later the manager is arguing that it's fine. Other dishes also not good. It was like a normal north indian resturent.
Also the waiting time is almost 45mins. People who are serving don't know the dish belogns to which table. We ordered 8 dishes and They came with more than 12 dishes which are from other table. Order item also got changed for us. Horrible experience on 1st Jan. SHOULD AVOID THIS PLACE. NOT A GOOD ONE.

Best value Chinese restaurant in Jayanagar

Our first visit was a buffet on a Sunday afternoon. The soup & the starters were served at the table. The momos were first class, and all the starters were served hot. The buffet was a spread of indian and chinese food - we restricted ourselves to the chinese. Our favourite of the main course was the schezuan crab which was simply superb. The deserts were also good, especially the date and almond pancakes and crispy honey noodles.

We visited the restaurant two other times, and were not dissapointed. Definitely a great place for decent chinese food at a reasonable price.

Always Good

This week Lunch Buffet was Awesome. Particularly Nalli Ka Salan and Thai yellow fish curry. Biryani was great. My office is very close to this place, i always prefer to visit once in 15 days. I would recommend this palace to every one.

Staff are courteous.

Chinese mixed with North Indian

As the name suggest, 75% of the menu is Chinese and the rest 25% North Indian. The food is average. Ambiance is cool. This place can be tried once but at the same price you can find other option. Heard about its buffet though not tried, I think lunch buffet will live upto expectations. Go atleast once and then its your decision.

As Usual

No change in quality of their buffet lunch. This time I went with my parents to have lunch. the new preparation i tried was Gharelu Kukkad. Awesome. I was discussing with my mum to buy a birthday gift for my father, after few seconds a lady worker came with a Mock tail to wish my father. It was very surprising to me to see this level of service. Thank you so much guys.

Great Christmas Lunch

Awesome spread. My family visited here on the day of Christmas lunch. we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Such a huge choice but price was very reasonable. Staff were courteous. Thanks for making our day.

They also told me that they have the same verities on 1st of Jan. Not a bad idea for trying once more.

Enjoyable!

We couldn't get them on the phone easily and the parking is tricky. Those were the only downsides to a very enjoyable dining experience. Food was tasty (we are veggies) ambience was superb (spacious) and service was prompt and courteous. Will go again.

Loved the Chinese food

Have been to the Church Street branch, but I found the ambiance better at Jayanagar. The food was absolutely gorgeous !
The spring rolls were crisp and great flavor. Loved the chilli and coriander chicken for the main course, different but excellent main course !

Average food, starters oily as hell.

Went to Three Quarter Chinese with the family. The Ambiance was Ok and service was OK too, nothing to write home about. This was my second visit, the first time was a long time ago at the other one on Church street. I went home with a bad aftertaste and I went in and out of the bathroom all night. I didn't choose to eat here but the family that I went with did (I told them but they didn't want to go elsewhere) I had my hopes it was going to be better than my previous experience but it let me down again. The Chinese starters were all greasy and oily, the main course was very average. I remember Schezuan fried rice appeared like it was soaked in oil overnight. You know, I don't think Chinese and Indian mix very well in the gut. Thankfully, we all did fine, no throw ups and bathroom visits. I would not want to go there again.

Liángh?o de shíwù!

Liángh?o de shíwù in chinese(simplified) translates to good food.. :) I hope I got it right. I learnt that from one of my friend who had been to China.
Well coming back to TQC, we were a group of 30 people. The place is spacious and very comfortable. I liked the ambience. The best part was we had a private place for ourselves, a set of 3 tables which gave us enough place to walk around and talk.
We had gone for dinner and it was A la carte. The food (both veg and non-veg) was very well done. The chicken and prawns were the highlights. The chicken lolipop was done to perfection, crispy on the outside soft and tender on the inside. There are very few places you get good prawns in Bangalore and TQC is definitely one of them. The bar menu is good and liked their collection of Beer, Whisky, Scotch and Shooter.
The service was also Good. :)
Definitely a place to visit from my side.

bad customer service -- OK food

I visited this place on a saturday afternoon for lunch. Strangely, they have no buffet on weekends. I ordered a from the menu and was disappointed to note that food was cold when served.
I had ordered for mutton sheek kabab (cost Rs. 280). This came stone cold and when I asked my waiter he offered to rehead the same in the microwave oven. They did not even have the curtesy to make a new one for the customer. When I checked with the manager about this neither he offered to serve us with a new one nor was he apologetic about this. More than all these the sheek kabab was neither tasting like a sheek kabab nor looking like one. There was not even taste of the mutton in it.

Other food that was served after this was warm. I assumed they were reheated in the microwave before even I complained.

Very bad experience. I donot suggest this place. The arrogance of the management is very much visible. I give a 2 star for this.

I would give a 3 star for the food. Nothing exceptional

Spacious, Good food

Been twice to this place. Certainly can vouch for Good food. The Steaming momo's are definitely on the list that you would want to taste. Ambiance is good and very spacious.
A lil bit expensive when compared to others. Service wont let you down.
Took content in the chinese dishes, did not have any Indian food though.
If you want food more spicy you better inform the chef. Great for Family lunch/dinner.

finally something in Jayanagar...

Finally a good restaurant in Jaya nagar. If you are bored of the regular eat-outs in this locality this a definitely worth visiting. Been there on a saturday. Lunch buffet is available only Mon-Fri. This place is expensive compared to other similar restaurants in jayanagar.
It is huge and spacious and less noisy. The ambiance was great and service is good.
I tried few veg starters and some veg Chinese en trees. Quantity and taste is good though I have not tried the non-veg and Indian fare.
I am quite happy that there is no service charge forced on you...but service is worth giving a generous tip...
A very good option for both lunch / dinner and worth revisiting...

Good food, great price!

In case you did not know already, the food is mostly Chinese, with a little bit of Awadhi (north Indian :)) thrown in.

The 249+tax buffet (week days) is what we opted for today. From the vegetarian perspective, the food was very good.

Veg Soup: Mixed veg soup - Okey dokey

Starters: Fried momos, sabudana vada (or something close to it) - Very Good!

Gravies: Dal Makhni, Veg Kadai, Panneer something - All brilliant!

Rotis: A mix of tandoori rotis and Nans - Good!

Rice - Veg Pulao, Veg Fried Rice, Curd rice :) - I did not try out the curd rice. But the pulao and fried rice were pretty good.

Noodles - Veg Hakka Noodles - Bland, but I am not a big noodle fan.

Sauce: Thai sauce to go along with the noodles - Maybe that is the way it is supposed to taste, but I found it no great shakes.

Dessert: Cake, Ice Cream, Rice Kheer, Gulab Jamun(dry), Fried sweet noodles - All very good!

Ambience: Very good. If you are a member of the cosmo club, you get to sit in a special place overlooking the club.

Verdict: A very good place to pack in a heavy lunch on a week day. Go for it!

3 Quarter Chinese, 1 Quarter Indian / Awadhi

I was on a eating spree during the new year and for Sunday’s lunch, we chose the brand new 3 Quarter Chinese which has just opened its doors in Jayanagar.

Since i was binging day in and day out continuosly for the last 2 days, i told myself about self-control and holding myself back and restrict myself to light eats.

This place is on the first floor of the newly renovated Cosmopolitan Club. The dining hall is huge with a separate area for the club members. They also have space for the buffet spread but, I guess it would take some time. This was told to me by the receptionist.

My self control this day led me with Masala Chaas - which was right and perfect way to start my meal. My friends opted for Tomat Spinach Clear Soup and Sweet Corn Soup. I tasted both and liked it. Though, my chaas was the winner of the day!

One of my friends wanted Veg Spring Rolls and the other 2 including me, ordered for Karara Palak Chaat. This Chaat, I had tasted in Serengiti and loved it. The moment I saw this name in the menu card, I almost jumped to say, I wanted it. Spring Rolls were nice and not oily. The Karara Palak Chaat was the winner again. All 3 of loved it. The curd, Tamarind Chutney and others on the top of it made wonders.

As promised to myself earlier about keeping it really light, we just ordered one Khushka / Garam Dum Ka Chawal with Dal Afgani. The Khushka rice had some subtle flavor in it and the dal which was similar to Dal Makhni made wonders with the rice. Though I wanted to keep it light and restricted myself from not being served more rice, I did take a few extra spoons of Dal just to savor it. Next time when I'm going to this place, this is definitely going to be in the "must have" list.

With whatever we selected, it wasnt too heavy on our stomachs. The damage for the 3 of us was around 800 bucks.

A nice new and spacious place to dine in Jayanagar. Most of the patrons were family and the day we went, the restaurant was filled with kids! Should be perfect place to dine with family and friends.
