Vasudev Adiga's Reviews

Bengaluru's Original Food Served Fresh!

I always had issues with vegetarian food in HSR layout before Vasudev Adiga's made an entry!
Idli vada sambar was my only piece of concern and here I went with a lot of expectations. But Vasudev Adiga's didn't give me that good an experience nor did it disappoint. The food was okay. The chutney on that day was a bit off color though I enjoyed the sambar and Vada!
Filter coffee tastes even more awesome when shared. Evenings are always filled with crowd. Love the Crisp Dosas they make! They are authentic and utterly tasty!
The North Indian dishes are a bit let down though.
Price of the dishes are on the higher side but is worth!
Ambience is good.

Idly Sambar Dose - Kannada Style!

At last, after a long wait, HSR has an authentic Kannada Fast food place in the form of Adigas. I was longing for those idly-sambar "dips" and benne masala dose for a long time! I haven't tried their chaat options, but dinner north Indian thalis are so-so. Dal-rotis are good though. My ratings are for the idlys and dosas.
Evenings are the right time since it is less crowded and you are definitely gonna get to taste the yummiest of dosas. Weekend breakfast has a mad rush, so avoid this place during weekends.
Prices are a bit on the higher side but yes, it is nothing less than its rival joints in the neighborhood. So, I don't think too much about the prices as long as I get good idlys and my husband is peacefully sipping his "filter coffee".
