I love Thai food, my friend asked me to try at Yin Yang, Banashankari (Opp to BDA Complex)! I ordered Thai Green Curry and Thai Roasted Chicken. Food was yummy and I was literally licking my fingers, my wife remembered our honeymoon in Thailand and the cuisine there. Thanks Yin Yang for the food and memories!
Just average food..!
after reading the comments i thought this one is really worth a try as everyone had something good to say about this restaurant. but, it was nothing as expected. we ordered yin yang special chicken and thai basil fried rice. if only one of them were good. and, neither is it cheap. tasteless.i think they forgot to put salt in both the chicken and fried rice.next time i'll carry a bottle of salt to remind them, but alas, there wont be a next time.the chef's special chicken was full of chillies and broccoli that was extra fried and oily.even the chicken was smelling.fried rice was nothing out of the world.the appropriate name would have been bell pepper fried rice(for people with high b.p as they had no salt in it)..all in all a bad experience.
This place is right opposite to InSwing on 1st floor above the bakery. Its a small and cozy place. Food is very good and does not burn your pocket as well. Service is also pretty fast. We will definitely visit this place more often.
Manchow Soup (yummy)
Sweet Corn Soup (good)
Schezwan Momos (awesome)
Gobi Manchurian (tasty but could have been crispier)
Chicken Taipei (spicy)
Steam Rice (nice)
Warning: they do not accept cards.
I had been to this place, few days back. I am great fan of prawns and chicken steamed rice! I reside in Rajajinagar and it has only two good chinese restaurant, Kim lee and Chungs, but the golden fried prawns, Chicken Manchow Soup and Chicken Steamed Rice which I had at Yin Yang was out of this world! I agree its a nice and decent place, within the budget. So bye bye Kim Lee and Chungs :)
I visited this place last month. I had just gone for a snack. It's very nice and decent restaurant but the place is small. I tried schezwan prawns it was yummy...must taste it. It's just the BEST..even prawn crunch doesn't offer such good and tasty prawns. I tried gobi manchurian too even that was great. I loved it, will go there again.
You are doin a great job!! Keep up!!
Best chinese in banashankari
Have been there end number of times and keep going often better than chungwah and beiging bites in BSK.Best part about the restaurant is no arificial colours are used much as compared to other restaurant,Eat sczehwan momos which are really the best and baby corn manchurian is too good
Cosy little corner place
We went there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after seeing it mentioned in the Burrp newsletter!
The place is pretty small but located on the 1st floor in the corner of a building with large windows. So, some tables have a good view of one corner of the BDA complex.
Food was average to good, medium priced+ for Thai items.
Soup (mushroom) was Avg.
Spring rolls were big. Taste was Avg.
Chicken Taipei (appetizer) was tasty and even my kids who dont usually like spicy food enjoyed it.
Malaysian noodles was also good..
Thai red curry (steamed rice included), though was a little too thick for our liking. The taste was there..but somehow did not feel like Thai dish. Next time we will try the green curry.. :)
Helpings were quite large and we had pack up some stuff.
There was no desert selection. Also credit card is not accepted so carry cash. Our total bill came to Rs 500 for 2 adults and 2 kids, no drinks/deserts. Thai red curry costing the most at Rs 170.
Worth a try and then you can judge for yourself! :)
Decent Food, Scope for improvement...
We went there yesterday for dinner. It's a very small restaurant.
We had :
TomYum Chicken Soup (Good)
Schezwan Prawns (Good)
Fish Chilly (Average)
Thai Roasted Chicken (Below Average, not roasted well enough, bland taste)
Thai Basil Egg Fried Rice (Very Good)
Thai Red Fish Curry (Very Good)
Overall, I felt it's decent restaurant. The only thing I am disappointed is the quality of fish. The fish smell was much more than it's supposed to be. It actually spoiled the taste of fish items that are otherwise good. I hope they will improve and use more 'fresh' fish, instead of toomuch refrigerated ones...:-)
I think they are new, so I can give benefit of doubt and visit again.
