Good food, but not enuf!

Well we stay around frazer town, and always passed this resto but never stopped for a bite. Blame it on the location being overshadowed by the tea shop and the apollo clinic. However one fine day when the other places around (mind you frazer town is aplenty with choices!), we did stop by and buoy the way we have been going there again and again and again!

Finally we found a place with authentic tastes of lucknow, and we would say that with confidence being delhites ourselves and frequenter to the legends of old delhi. The galauti kebabs are a special mention, probably one of the best after the tunda kebabs originally found in old lucknow! And yes not to forget the ulte tave ka paratha!!! One of the regulars on our table have been galauti kebabs, ulte tava ka paratha and shahi tukda.

However, the fact of it being a fine dining restaurant minus the decors do pinch the wallet though. A 2 course meal costs around 400 rs, and that still doesnt kill the hunger! One thing the owners (Paprika group) can do is to increase the quantity. The main course just isnt enough for two people. Not sure if its the recession blues but the complimentary jaljeera given earlier has been taken off the meals!

One special mention goes to the owner though for being extra special to explain the little nuances of food making. Gos to show the passion that has gone into this restaurant.

Brilliant Food!

The food here is simply brilliant.. probably the best Indian & Lucknowi food i've had in Bangalore. Even comparing it to most of the top Fine dining restaurants in Bangalore which claim to serve the best but they don't.. Though the Ambiance might not be very fancy or loud, it still stands good in cleanliness and the staff is warm and welcoming and so is the management and the chef for special requests...
Once here you must try the Galawati Kabab which simply melts in your mouth along with the Ulta Tawa Parantha in the starters and the Rada Gosht and Gosht Nihari for the Main Course followed by some Shahi Tukda and Zafrani Phirnee for desserts.
The place is not too expensive. As a matter of fact the place is under priced in my opinion..
