We have been to this place 2 times. The first time was the a la carte one which is next to PVR. The food was tasty and good except for the limited vegetarian options. The next time we were told about the buffet spread in the upper floor and decided to try it out.
There were a lot of waiters and stewards there but nobody cared to help us with the food. There was no label and veg/non-veg signs for the dishes. We suddenly saw a pasta dish in the buffet spread. When we asked the steward what spaghetti that was, he said he would check and come. Then he came back and told that was an a la carte dish and they kept it there by mistake (??). He removed that as well.
And finally the food was ok and nothing great.
Overall, definitely wouldn't recommend for the buffet there.
After watching Thor in PVR, my better half and me wanted to go out and eat somewhere. With a lot of choices, we stumbled upon this one while coming out of the theatre.
It looked a neat place and was not crowded too.
So, the daring duo went in knowing nothing about this place.
Boy, we were surprised.
The ambience and the waiters were all pretty good. While the choice for vegetarians is very limited, the non vegetarian items were many.
We chose a veg starter and 2 chicken dish as main courses.
The food was very nice with the chicken juicy and tender. We were expecting it to cost a fortune but it was reasonably priced.
A dinner for 2 (a starter, main course and a drink) costs around Rs.550
In all the crowd and chaos of PVR, this is a jewel!
Must go if you are stuck inside PVR.
