Really good food
Excellent food. There're also some pretty innovative entrees on the menu. The chef really pays attention and prepares the food exactly the way you want.
The restaurant is in good location with sufficient parking. The inside is clean and welcoming. Staff are courteous and helpful.
Cost was in line with what you'd expect to pay for good, safe food at a good location.
Great Place, Excellent food.
Landed here for a late lunch with a friend. The service was amazing and the waiters very courteous. I liked the fact that they're very attentive and always have a smile on their face. The food was awesome. Don't miss the Dragon Chicken and the Chicken Sizzler here. There aren't many restaurants in Chennai that make Chicken Sizzlers this tasty. Be careful not to bump into the strategically placed metal pillar on the way in and out. Glad they painted it red. :D

Cost of Cool Drinks
This is Sathish from Chennai, I had visited a restaurant on 3-4-12 located in Injambakkam Chennai 600041
I had ordered for few food item along with the 500 ml sprite (coco-cola), I was shocked when he shows the bill amount for sprite, its 80 rs
I believe the cost of 500ml sprite is only 27 rs anywhere in Chennai, Tamilnadu , but the restaurant is selling 200% more on the MRP.
It's here to stay !!!
Even being an eataholic like me, one can be forgiven for not noticing some new restaurant opened on ecr, because there are restaurants and food points springing up like mushrooms all along the highway. While a majority of them are a flop-show, there are always those 'few good ones'.
Glillz is one latest addition to the ecr eatouts, which I happened to visit along with my team. I should say this new player shows real good promise in several aspects.
Firstly, I was impressed with the 'branding' these people are in process of building. Almost months before the opening, they made sure people notice their presence, with Graffiti inspired 'Grillz' hoarding along the road showing 'Opening soon'. And more importantly, they followed it up with the 'Now open' sign!!
Next is the look and feel of the place, which holds the first impression in the minds of people. Grillz has an open air garden seating with bbq stands and a large screen, quite suitably for team gatherings and families. Theres ofcourse a pleasant closed seating too for the quiter lot and couples, with a good ambience. Different and an impressive aspect in the setup is the console game station 'Spawn' attached to the place. Charging about 100 bucks per hour, the console gaming bunk feature makes a decent hangout for the weekends.
Coming to the most important aspect, the food, we were around 8 of us and so did get to try quite a good range of Veg - Non Veg varieties. Ofcourse me being a herbivore, can comment only on the Veggie stuff. The sweet corn soup we ordered was thick and appetizing. For starters, we tried crispy fired baby corn, gobi manchurian and spring rolls, and all of them were delicious and filling. For maincourse, we relished on some naan-kulcha bread basket and sumptuous Paneer butter masala, veg manchurian balls and a signature dish. I should mention, these are the most genuine sized naans i've come across in Chennai. To finish it off, we had some yummy ice cream. I did receive good reviews from others for the 'red-dots', except for the chicken dum biryani, which they felt 'can do better'.
Price, though not very affordable, is on par with other existing ecr restaurants. Going with the flow, even Grillz offered us 15% corporate discount.
As a practical note- With many similar hangouts nearby and growing crowds, it will be interesting to see if they can maintain the same standards. To conclude, I found Grillz a promising eatout on ecr and it is here to stay.
