The Management is awful.
We booked the party hall for 80 ppl for a office party.Paid the advance and confirmed the venue 3 days in advance. 1 day before the party they say they will be shut down because of an association bandh and they are in no position to make alternate arrangements. Even at the time of paying the advance we had inquired about the bandh but they reassured us that they will be open. The manager calls us on a Sunday morning to tell they ll b closed on the day of the party. Even after 3. hours of camping at the front desk no one from the management was ready to speak to us and the manager kept dodging us. We called the MD who didn't answer his phone and the GM was at his home and spoke to us after multiple phone calls. That too his only words were that he couldn't help us.
Delicious and Awesome Location
Perfect place for a family dining experience. The place is quite expensive, but the food is pretty good. We ordered the Non Veg kebab platter for an assortment of kebabs. All of them on the plate were delicious. For main course we went for the Butter Naans and sides. The Peshawri Murgh and Methi Murgh were excellent. Tried out the Biryani as well which was average. They also had an option for a buffet, but going by reviews I am happy that we went for the A La Carte option. Worth a one time visit for a relaxed lunch or dinner.
extremely good food. we ordered the veg kebab platter and it was out of this world. i hate beetroot and was a little skeptic to try it but one of the best kebabs ever. it couldn't have tested better.. panner khurchan(if it was that ) was melting in my mouth.. chicken starter was normal. nothing amazing abt it. the main course mutton dosh was good. chicken biryani was also good but again nothing to drool over. i can live without it. on the whole good place, good food. will have to try more dishes.
Delicious Food and Pleasing Staff
Been here twice already.First time, was an ala-carte.Generous portions and staff was always willing to serve and very polite.
Second time, we had gone for the sunday lunch buffet. The live counter was serving excellent chat items.Starters were very yummy and the staff went on serving us...till we had to scream..'no more'.Non-veg gravies were mildly spiced and was lip smaking.Dessert section was good too...will never forget the hot jilebis we had...reminded the ones we had at Mathura. Will surely go back with friends and families.
Suggestion: Other than the Citibank Credit Card, the restaurant should offer cash back on other bank credit cards also.
For 350 + 41 taxes = 391this couldnt be a better buffet.
You get the following :
1. Soup - Veg / Non veg - This was worth forgetting
2. 3 Non veg starters / 3 veg starters -- Excellent
3. 3 Non veg main course / 3 veg main course - not bad
4. Indian Breads - Very good
5. Desserts - 3 of them - an ice cream , Gulab Jamun and Gajar Halwa - Really Good
On the whole an excellent buffet and value for money. You wont be disappointed.
Plus if you hold a citibank card an additional 15% off on the buffet price.
the food quality was very good.

also they have chicken bitiyani,chicken butter masala,prawn curry,pannerr butter masala,mix veg,dal,corn curry,curd rice,fruit salad,,
all the things mantioned above is costs 350+40 for tax=390 Rs only...
It was independence day and we decided to go to zaica for lunch.I have been here before ,i like the starters they serve with the buffet but the main course was never upto the mark on anyday and today was no exception. They served a malai potato and corn kebab, tangri paneer kebab and veg sheek kebab for veg while the NV had 2 chicken and a fish fry for starters. All the starters were good, nicely marinated and well cooked. They also had a live chat counter. The dahi samosa and papdi chat were good while the pani puri lacked the taste.Main course was again a letdown. They had paneer lababdar, aloo malai sabzi, veg corn pulao, kadai veg,and their signature peshwari dhal. The dhal was a total letdown,it used to be great here but not anymore. All others were very average ,nothing to rave about. The food was lukewarm. For deserts they had payasam cooked in claypot, jelabi's,kala jamun and ice cream. The payasam was great and the jamun tasted good too.We also had a blue lagoon and aum aur pineapple mocktail. Both were just ok and not worth the money.Service was excellent .The buffet cost 350 for lunch which is a good value for money. This place has potential provied they concentrate more on the main course.
Fine Dine indeed
Visited this restaurant few months back for lunch buffet. We had already called up and reserved a table, so we were directed to our tables straightaway. The tables are well spaced out that each group can enjoy their meal in private. The ambiance was wonderful!
On the food, the starters were just awesome! Paneer, for one, was juicy and so delicious. We had few rounds of all their starters. Our Maitre'd was kind enough to refill our starters just in time.
The Main course though was a bit of a let down. Not much variety on the dishes. Had to wait a bit for the salad and ice-cream to be re-filled again.
Overall, a good experience. Will go again for their Starters!!
Food - 4/5
Service - 5/5
Ambiance - 5/5
VFM - 3.5/5
Tasty Indian Food
Do not under-estimate the space of the interiors by the exterior look. The place looks quite small, but its spacious inside, that too with well spaced out tables. They also have a small game room for kids, thus keeping them from running around in the restaurant. The only thing that seemed strange was the parking. Even tho they have a vallet service i still wonder whr they wud park the cars on a busy weekend. our car was parked right on the main road by the vallet guy!
Anyways, since we went for dinner, we didnt wanna give in to the temptation of over-eating n hence went for the a-la-carte n not the buffet. Their menu is quite small as their main focus is on the buffet. (Apparently they have unlimited starters which are served on the table n the main course spread out, for the buffet.) We went for a normal chicken kebab and a fish kebab. Both were yummy. Their cheese kulcha and onion kulcha were soft. For the side dish, the employee himself admitted that they dont have any "spicy" dish as such, but was kind enough to ask the chef to prepare us one (but Im still wondering what the purpose of the chilli is on their logo!!) We ended the meal with the dessert of the day- Hot Jalebis, which were awesome- they literally were melting in my mouth! The only thing that put me off was that they had no drinks to offer except for the aerated ones, i mean im not asking for alcohol, but atleast have some basic stuff like lime soda or ice tea or some juice.
Overall the taste of the food was very good, authentic north indian khana.. enjoyable experience. And nice staff who took the pain to walk us through the buffet, even though we didnt go for it. Surely Chennaites can give this a try! :)
A new experience
We happen to have dinner on 25th June. Tasty Food, lovely service and excellent ambiance. Mr Vetrivel, the F&B manager was to good. Peshawari Dhall is their signature Item.( I tasted it after a Gap of 30years)
The air conditioners fitted 3 in a set on East and West wall. This causes discomfort who take the seats below them.
Humm Parking ?????

Pathetic service Nothing Fine Dinebut Good food
Go to this place only if you have a lot of patience.
Saw a review of this place on last Fridays hindu and decided to visit the place as my sister had on that day finished her post graduate exams. We called up in the morning and booked a table for 5. Landed up and were place on a table for six. After some time the Maitre'd confirmed our orders and the shorba got served. Nothing great very average and hardly warm.
We were the served first round of starters(Panner tikka, Aloo tikki,Tawa veg and veg Sheekh). After all of us were done it took them over 10 min to get the second round of starters. 15 min after second round of starters were finished everybody was tired of waiting and started going for the buffet. Then this waiter coolly comes and asks would you like another round of starters. They don't even bring the starters and ask you !!!
A group was seated next to us and a chair added to the aisle in such a way that people from one side did not have access to the buffet area. When I called and spoke to the Maitre'd he had a cant bother attitude. They made everybody having dinner in our table get up and moved the table .This at a place that calls themselves a fine dine.
The main course was all good . The Dahi alloo and the Dal were excellent.
The Desert selection was poor and taste was average.
Overall nothing worth 550+taxes . Will go to Kabab Factory and spend a tad little higher but definitely enjoi a meal.
