Dakshin is one my favourite places in the city simply because it serves the best of South Indian dishes. I eagerly wait for the different food festivals when im at collage days.
Dishes I tried with my friends are kozhi rassa, menthi vankya koora, alleppy chemeem curry.,pesarattu, banana dosa, are really yummy in taste
crispy Adai or Kara dosa with Butter,Tamarind,Cococnut,Tomato and Mint chutnies which was too good .
Butter milk and Lassi both were extraordinary.
They also had another Karnatic dish for sidedish called as "Menthi Vengaya Koora" is yummy
totally totally its super delicious food

Truly Dakshin...

One of my many favourite places... yes a tad too expensive and being a South Indian, I laugh every time I order a 'rasam' and pay 400 odd rupees for it... but the ambience, the food, the experience is perfect for a close knit family dinner or dinner with that someone special :) Try their avial, rasam, mokka jonna vadas and banana appams... yumm!!! Being a vegetarian, I obviously cannot comment on the non vegetarian fare... but if you want to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones, this place will not fail!
