Best Multi Cuisine Restaurant
I personally visited the restaurant once and I find the location of the restaurant is easily visible. The ambiance of the restaurant is really good which itself attracts the people. The food, at least what I eat was tasty. One of the big plus point of the restaurant is having a bar attached. The food and the alcohol are moderately expensive.
The Inaugural Hyd foodies meet
The place is unfortunately not very easy to find. The small hoarding doesn't help much either, it is barely visible from outside the lane, but thankfully as my dad had already been here before, we landed there without much trouble.
We had the Sunday lunch buffet. It was our inaugural foodie meet and all of us were pretty excited and shouted a lot. The waiters were courteous enough to not throw us out.
The soup was okay nothing worth writing about, and the starters included a babycorn fry , a mixed veg something and for the non veggies ginger chicken and green methi chicken. The taste was good, though we would have preferred if the chicken was boneless.
After a few rounds we started for the main course. It was a wide multi cuisine spread - from Veg noodles to chicken biriyani. The food was nothing to go gaga about but the fish curry deserved a special mention.
In the desserts too , the mango mousse had real cut up tiny mango pieces which actually made it very tasty.
Overall a good experience but don't go there only for the food...
A Good Food Junction
I am A Food Lover and love to Experiment with new Restaurants. I Found this restaurant in the Burrp and believe me it has not Disappointed me. We went there with Group of 5 People. The Moment we entered the restaurant, the ambiance set the mood in evening. we have ordered Few Starters, the starters were authentic, particularly the Shrimps were awesome. Keep it Up!!!!!!! Thanks to the Management for giving Discount in Alcohol... I am Sorry Mr/Ms rpalem, we were not Disappointed and Cheated...Its too Harsh!!!!!
dissapointed & CHEATED
We were a group of 10 people went to this Restaurant yesterday (07-Nov). We ordered drinks and starters - took ages. each started took more than 45 minutes to arrive at our table.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, WE WERE CHARGED EXCESS SERVICE TAX. AS PER THE NEW RULES, "SERVICE TAX" SHOULD BE CHARGED ON "SERVICE CHARGE", NOT THE WHOLE BILL. AMOUNT. when I insisted that service tax should not be charged on the whole bill amount, the manager refused to oblige. On a total bill of 8527.5, service charge = 426.38 & service tax = 331.3
Almost Perfect way to spend a nice evening
The food is awesome. The setting and environment is good. The ROOF-TOP has a very nice view and adds to the taste of food. The alcohol rate was moderate.
Really really nice place to visit with your friends/girlfriend.
I would suggest you guys to try it once and i can bet you would love to go again.
Thanks a lot Burrp for letting me know about this place. :)
Well I couldn't agree more with the other reviews!!
Totally a waste of the place that they have. The rooftop allows the management to make it into a nice place, but they have not been able to use it to their advantage.
Yes, all gravy based items are the same. I ordered a Goan fish curry..well it comes with mustard seed and curry leaves...I was utterly disgusted. The starters were okay...
To the management: Please pay some attention to the food..you have got everything else..
if you are into rooftops!
this is a great place for people who love rooftop restaurants. (like me) (palace heights was my childhood crush)
Good ambience. good food (i'd assume) by the smells of it!!!
Communication problems with the staff (maybe not always) Looking forward to have lunch / dinner sometime.
will update you all again then. Try the cocktails with caution!
All the disches tasted the same, I guess they cook all of them in the same sauce. The place is small, probably will accommodate 50 and the view is not as spectacular the website claims. It is ok. Overall an average restaurant.
PS : Surprisingly, they didn't have any cover for an open top restaurant if it rains. We just had to move into a closed room.
i read the reviews in femina and on burrp and thought that finz would be quite nice especially being a roof top restaurant. to cut a long story short, the drinks came when we were almost done with our appetizers, the food was very mediocre, service is very slow, unitelligent, (messed up our order)...overall very ok...
Made my family go to Finz after reading about it. They had a wide menu. And a wide variety of continental dishes. When I asked for it they said the continental chef is not around so no continental food is available.was disappointed. Its a new restaurant and already half the dishes on the menu are not available!
We settled for tandoor...the food was good.
So, we just had indian food.. For a party of four people....with just two beers, our bill came to over rs.2,500/- . I will have to say that it is on the expensive side.
THe hotel as such is nicely done up. Nice decor on the ground floor.
But the restaurant is like any other .
Excellent food and service
I got to know about this place from a friend and was told about the array of items on the menu. If you are a non-vegetarian lover then you would love this place and the starters are simply mouth-watering. The service is also pretty fast and nice pleasant ambiance. The view from the top floor is pretty stunning as you can see the city in the back-drop. On a breezy evening I can only imagine how it would be, especially with the light music playing in the background...uummm. Good for people would like to have a quite time, good food and a drink to go along.
One of the few places in town with a 360 degree view of the city drapped in lights. A new place, which is not yet known to a lot of people, we had a terrific time at Finz with the stars in the sky and a beer in our hand and the best part is it is very easy on the pocket. Make the best use of this place before the word gets out !
