Worse Staff and Management

Bouncers run the place. Stupid and dumb management.

Worst place...Worst staff

we went there with couple of friends on saturday night & pretty much taken a back by the attitude of the staff & the bouncers..They do not have minimum courtesy which needs to be shown to the patron...when we asked for a table,we were rudely told to wait "ON A SIDE" which was just too arrogant..even after waiting for 15 minutes, they did not respond...all the while,we were watching the staff behaving nastily with guests..
finally we left the place...Do not go if you do not want to lower your dignity

An Amazing Place

I met my college mates after 3 years on saturday. We were a group of 6 and were looking for a place to party and to have some good food. As Shamrock is just across the road, we have been there and the place is just amazing. We had great fun. The DJ, ambiance, food and service was just awesome. We had a difficulty in finding a table initially as the place is crowded, but soon the staff has accommodated us.
I read a comment which an angry lady has posted about shamrock and Iam sorry to say the tables of two were not that bad. Infact they are the best corner places for couples.
Anyways I would like to thank Team Shamrock. That n8 we had recollected our college days. Thanks Team, I really appreciate. We will definitely come back.

One of the worst experiences!

Visited Shamrock on a Saturday evening around 8.30PM. Place was empty other than 3 tables occupied with 2 ppl each. Waiter shows us to a small table in a dark corner. We requested for another table as its right under the TV and in a dark/ depressing corner. He rudely answers that no other table can be provided to us. We ask for the Manager, who is even more rude - says other tables are booked for "regulars" - who are nowhere to be seen by the way!! Also, a number of tables do not have the 'Reserved' placard.
When we ask the Manager for another table since so many tables are free - he mentions that is the only table he can give us; if we want, we can take it or leave it. One of the worst customer experiences I have faced in Hyderabad! Even restaurants/ pubs which are full try and accommodate or at least are polite in talking to customers (especially when its two ladies)!!! Needless to say, we walked out of there.

best work buffet

we were in a dilemma whether to goto nautanki galli cinnamon or shamrock, but decided to give shamrocks lunch buffet a try . what good could a pub lunch be we thought .

priced at rs 250 per person with tax, we walked in expecting very few items in the buffet . there were quite many starters and the main course was simple but very tatsy . the deserts only limited to jamun and ice cream , i'd highly recommend this place if u r the software district and want to grab a quick , no frills , good tasty budget , go here

food 9/10
service 8/10
ambience 6/10
value for money 9/10

Noisy

Average food. Really really high decibel levels. Decent alcohol. Bad staff - can't recommend drink and take orders, lousy service, rude (we were abruptly asked to leave the pool table alone after 15 minutes because some other people were waiting)

just average

many times i wonder, why restaurants spend so much money in interior decor, & invest so less in quality employees like trained chefs & serving staff. yesterday, when i went to shamrock, it was one such time. the first impression, on entering the place, was definitely awesome. the typical british bar setting, with good woodwork & lots of floor space, nice bar, comfortable seating - all that jazz.
the retaurant was mostly empty, with just one more table occupied. and the serving staff & bartender seemed quite idle too. but we had to wait for 5-7 min before somebody took our order - 2 drinks, one starter, one main course. after 20 min, we asked if at least our drinks could be served, and they got the wrong order. they took 10 more min to correct it. thankfully by then, the started - paneer tikka - also arrived. it was quite average. i can cook that stuff at home, which much better seasoning.
then we got out main course - penne arrabiata. it was so disappointing, we had to send it back. the penne was soggy, and the sauce was a disaster. we changed the order to chilly paneer (paneer, in my mind, is always a "safe" option - you cannot spoil it much). it was much better than penne. the sauce tasted authentic chinese, although it was too salty. but by then, we were hungry, and had decided against ordering a 2nd round of drinks. so we gobbled up the dish, and asked for our cheque.
the drinks - mojito - were good though. will i go there again? not if i have to pay on my own ;)

First visit

Since this is a new place went there with a friend on a friday evening around 8pm. The place was fine lot of wood work inside to give the ambience of a typical english bar. Dint try much of food but coupl of snacks tht we had were above avg. Ordered myself a scotch on the rocks and i was in mood for some hip hop so requested the DJ for some of my fav tracks. He immediately turned down the request saying tht friday is dedicated to Rock genre. I was slighly dejected but appreciated that they have rulez and business ethics. But as i was abt to leave the club around 9 30..the DJ suddenly announced how abt some bollywood and started playing typical bollywood remixes. I was taken a back by the attitude of the DJ. Dint complain as i dint care to argue with them. I'm not a music buff but after a hectic day..my fav tracks over a drink would have lifted my spirits. If the management takes a notice of this and serve the customers better this place will be a big hit.
