True Italian in Taste !
Testa Rossa, the espresso caffè, started in 1995 in Italy, expanded to 11 countries across the world and in 2010 it stated its operations in India. It is located at three different locations in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. I visited the Jubili Hills outlet and the moment I entered the gate I found this place very stylish unlike any other cafe in Hyderabad. The ambiance is perfectly done with black, red and white colour combinations. Seating style, tables, dining set and crockery are very trendy and fashionable keeping in sync with the name. It has three seating arrangements closed indoor in the ground floor, closed indoor and outdoor seating on the first floor. One can also play a pool game while having your food and coffee in a separate area on the first floor.
The name Testa Rossa means a Red Head. The classical TESTA ROSSA caffè is a coffee shop with a wide range, starting with coffee specialties to the Italian snacks like pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, sizzlers and other finger foods. With its complete all day dining menu, it is a complete cafe to hangout. They are known for their most flavourful coffees which had made millions of coffee lovers addicted to them worldwide. Their Espresso was created in 1995 at Roastery Testa Rossa s.r.l. Bulleno. Testa Rossa Espresso is lovingly blended from five of the most precious Arabica Highland coffee beans and traditionally roasted to yield the unique velvety flavor of Testa Rossa Caffe.
After seeing the menu, from the appetizers I had Cilantro Chicken and Italian Deviled Eggs. The cilantro chicken was very mouth-watering made from the finest cilantro and herbs; it simply melts in the mouth very tender and succulent. The Italian Deviled egg is one of the best egg dishes one can find. They make some of the most appetizing and scrumptious pastas and thin crust pizzas and the one I had was a chicken pepperoni pizza made to perfection. The pasta is perfectly done with right amount of thickness in the sauce and the ideal combination of herbs. Apart from the most appetizing finger food they also serve lip smacking desserts like the Chocolate Volcano, Lava Lava, Philadelphia Cheese cakes and many sinful creations that would blow your taste buds away.
Parking is not an issue and wash rooms are neat and clean. Service was spot-on; before you look out for them they are by your side. Pricing is apt. I came to know they have launched an unlimited Pasta Mania offer at a very reasonable price, I am going to come back to check on that too shortly.
Overall Testa Rossa Cafe is unique, true to chic experience, authentic in taste, original in every flavour and hue.

one of the worst places I have eaten at
read some good reviews about this place, so decided to try it out but I was so disappointed. It was hot day and their AC was not working due to which the inside hall was so suffocating, we had to sit outside under the sun (in the month of May). Service was extremely slow and food was equally bad, felt like we were throwing away the money down the drain. Never going there again.
OK Food.BAD Service
There waiters are so pre occupied within themselves that they will give a damn to your hand signals..shhhhhhsss...excuse mees...whistle..hoot watever..they would jst ignore u..and if at all ur lucky enuf to get ther attention..they wud utter sum telugu crap and make u feel like an alien..The place is outrageously HUGE and quite.the Sheesha was OK and the food was Good.
PS:They dont serve here...we waited fr like 20 mins fr sum1 serve our lasgna..to place the plates at least...but sadly we were left to ourselves :)
Uber Classy. Excellent food. Fantastic ambience
very decent place and concept of a elite Cafe. this is a coffee shop with a difference. it not too hectic but rather easy paced. the ambience is fantastic. the use of a large space has been done very well. what i noticed is that the place is very peaceful and the ambience lulls you into a relaxed mode. nice to place to hang out with friends. also likewise a place to enjoy a quiet dinner with family or spouse.they have 2 floors. the ground floor has much more Cafe like ambience with wooden flooring. upstairs is more loungish and upstairs also has a beautiful porch /patio seating. we went upstairs and chose to sit in the patio. we were 3 of us and ordered cappucino cremosito, cafe latte and hot chocolate. all 3 were great, specfically the hot chocolate was divine. it was rich and really did taste like hot chocolate - like melted chocolate. we ordered garlic bread, pasta w/white sauce, chicken steak and chicken panini for food. portions were good and all items tasted good. especially the pasta was done to perfection "al dente" and the rich sauce is perfect to dip the gralic bread into. they also have a good selection of desserts. service was good.we tried tres leches and it was the best i have tasted. hope they keep up the same high standards. when we feel a craving for high quality coffee and italian / continental food we will definetely be back
Horrible Service, Tacky Crowd and Mediocre Food
Testa Rossa is the worst place ever. if i were absolutely dying and had to eat or drink something, id choose to die than ever go back. The attendants at the cafe are incredibly rude and the manager is so inept that a five year old can bully him into surrendering control of his cafe. It seemed to us that the owner had money to burn, opened the place but didn't really care about how bad the service or food was at his cafe and if people ever wanted to come back. Its appalling how people can be in service/hospitality industry and know nothing about how to deal with their own staff and customers. How do they expect to keep people coming back?
good...gooder...goodest :P !!!
i am surprised there are no previous reviews about this place, coz it is a quite popular, and frequented place!!!
ive been here just twice in my 3 years at hyderabad, and this time ive really been thinking i should have been there a lot more, both the times, it was with friends with whom i wanted to catch up, and trust me very few other places are there where you can go and have a heart to heart, on a cup of coffee, or a super yum milkshake, or hookah!
dont get me wrong, this is also a place where you can have a super fun tym with your friends, and also a place where you can go on a date! very versatile, as it has 3 different seating options--- downstairs, its subtle, a lil sophisticated more cafe-ish, with no hookah served. upstairs, u have a pool table room, and another seating more loungish, and the sit-out, which is even more casual, hookah is served upstairs.
the food- mostly italian, the CHEESE FINGERS WITH CAJUN are a must have! they are the best cheese sticks in town, tell me if you dont close your eyes for a moment to relish this dish. if you are a cheese lover, you would love this place, i had ordered lasagne on my visit before, and it was a bit too cheesy for me. The food overall is pretty good. But the milkshakes are awesum!
you spend sum 700 rupees if you are two people ordering food and hookah, or maybe even lesser. so it is not that hard on the pocket, especially if you are in a group. the service is pretty good.
hope you also have some memorable times in this hangout joint...
