Alfa Beta Gamma

I had been to this place many times and had liked their chicken gravies.
But recently i tried their Bhuna Ghost as suggested by the old pleasant waiter. The mutton in this dish was soft and not chewy. It was boneless and spicy.
As usual the butter rotis had butter flowing on them and their kababs were juicy and tender.
AC section is cramped and noisy.
But the Non-AC Section was spacious, airy and surprisingly not noisy except the vehicular noise.
Looking forward to try their Methi Chicken (as suggested by the same old pleasant waiter).
Overall Nice place to have good tandoori dishes !!!

Nostalgic

Going to Cafe Alfa has always been a trip down memory lane. Be it the Sweet Lime soda served to you with a bottle of Dukes on your table, or the amazingly awesome Naans and Butter Rotis! We had the Bheja Masala which was simply outstanding, a couple of Butter Naans, A Butter Chicken, A Butter roti, and packed the leftovers and walked out happily with a small damage of 376 bucks only! Love it! I recommend the Mutton Biryani here too!! Avoid sitting upstairs since even though its AC its still too crowded and hardly any place to sit!!

Good food,Bad Service

Had butter chicken...it was way too butteryy and sweet. Not that great. Chicken sandwich was good although. But the service is bad. Waiters don't pay attention to you... they just simply ignore you. After yelling quite a number of times your order will be taken. so home delivery is preferred.

Butter chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The greatest butter chicken and chicken tikkas! Pahadi kebab are the best starters here. A heavenly abode for non- vegetarians.
Impossible to get a place to sit on Sunday evenings.

Best 'Just Round The Corner Restaurant'

Barely a 1 minute walk from my place, Cafe Alfa has the best butter chicken I have tasted anywhere. That, or I have had one too many at Alfa :)

A non-vegetarian's paradise and a bearable vegetarian place. Stick to mutton and chicken. Both Mughlai as well as Chinese are great. A total 'Value For Money' place.

Has a separate Air-conditioned section as well, for families.

Don't Miss : Chicken Crispy, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Biryani.

Areas of Improvement : All Indian breads, Roti included, are made with refined flour (Mainda) only.

Promoted by the pleasant, soft spoken and warm natured Chelia Muslims, who have been very successful with the Restaurant business. A similar experience can be had at Cafe Arfa, at Amboli, barely a km away, on SV Road.
