This was an amazing place, I was here On my first date and there after for a few more, Food was filling, Drinks have Happy Hours, Staff are well trained and music is perfect, if the music is too loud or too low you can request the DJ and he will make changes accordingly. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a good time.
Only Con is that the Place is a little narrow so not recommended for groups. 2 to 4 is good enough.
Happy Hours All the Way.
Great food , music is little too much for the lounging experience. Those looking for a fixed budget drinking session this is the place to be as they have happy hours on Monday's, till 12 BUY ONE GET ONE FREE . Same follows on Tuesdays and Thursdays too, what better way to end you hectic day with your office colleagues or buddies .... Don't miss the staff uniform ,,,,
The best about this place is the Music..DJ plays fantastic tracks and I am a regular there..Fantastic food available from Legacy Of china..The booze is worth it only considering HAPPY HOURS..If Happy hours are not on..then a better option would definately be WTF.. I highly recommend this place because of 1) Happy Hours 2) Good Food 3) Courteous staff 4) Superb music...
Great for cheap drinks
Visit this place every now and then with friends for drinks. Its dingy and small, but don't think of it as one of those typical cheap roadside bars. The food and drinks are reasonable priced especially during their Happy Hours (Monday and Thursday till midnight). The complimentary tortilla chips with the salsa dip are always great with your drinks. The DJ spins some good music all night long, but it can be a little loud for some people while trying to have a conversation (personally I don't mind it).
I'd suggest going there early as it can get pretty packed inside on certain days.
This place rocks, music is great, drinks are decent price. we hang out at enigma almost every 2 - 3 times a month and its just the place to chill out with friends. Also the food next door is amazing at Legacy of China, usually after too many drinks we move in the restaurant for lollypop chickens....
Great prices ... Great ambience ...
Points to remember
1) Happy Hour timings everyday are upto 8:30 pm, on Mondays and Thursdays happy hours are till midnight. The HH cover almost all the Indian spirits and some cocktails. Better to ask the steward. HH doesnt apply to wines.
2) The price ranges from 100 - 150 for a bottle of beer (Indian and imported), cocktails 175 - 250 (THE LONG ISLAND ICED TEA ROCKS)
2) The music is the same everyday, the DJ plays the same set and is partial to requests. Genre starts from Romantic/ Rock to Hip-Hop post 8:00 pm to House post 10:30 to Bollywood (2-3 songs only if people request)
3) The service is awesome even if your not a regular. A great reason to become a regular is that the steward will come and tell you when the happy hours are getting over and also sometimes extend it or even give you a free drink/ starters.
4) Free Nachos
In the end this is a great place for a pit stop before hitting the clubs ... Try avoiding going here more than once a week cause the music can get monotonous ..
But if your like me get plastered and then move on ...
Worth every penny!
Awesome place. Happy hours timings are till midnight! never heard of happy hours like that before! Good service! Good crowd! Ambience is decent and cozy and the DJ is absolutely fantabulous! Great place to go to to get rid of all your woes and worries! Way to go Enigma! Cheers
We happened to be at Enigma on the day it was launched. The seating then used to be much more comfortable than it is at present. Now there is no scope whatsoever for a large group to sit together due to the extremely cramped up seating at each table for max 4 people.
But on the upside, they have a good policy of 1 on 1 free on most drinks till 9 pm. I believe Thursdays its right upto the time the place closes down. The staff too is very friendly and quick on the orders. There have been many times when we were told that the beer pitcher is not available and forcing us to go in for the expensive pints instead. The food is prepared in the kitchen of adjoining legacy and is quite good.
The music tends to be severely loud after 8 pm or so... and you can hardly hear each other talk without screaming. Considering that most of the crowd here happens to be slightly older than teenagers, the management must surely look into this factor. I have personally stopped visiting this place due to the noise factor. Otherwise, its a good VFM place
Value for Money
I think engima is the best place to go during happy hours... They have 1 on 1 free on selective cocktails too...like Long Island Ice Tea(so in Rs. 200 u get 2) ...Bloody Mary etc ... so i really feel tht though its a very small place , its done up pretty well ...also the music is good . And if booze is wht u are interested in ..then not bad ....also the food is good ..mostly u will get starters ...which are from the neighbouring legacy of china....definately a place to go if ur gang of friends need a good place to sit down and BOOZE !!!!!
