good place but must filter the stags coming in
was there on 14th december 2013 . a Saturday night.
The line was big for the guest list but I happened to know some one so did not have to wait in the line .
no models or anything just young crowd that wanted to dance all night. It was funny to see people queue to take pics with the big F on the entrance .lol
staff was friendly inclusive of the bouncers
good place good music gets crowded by 12 am. beer 350 a pint. tried kingfisher ultra and premium but don't try carlsberg tastes like P***.
What we saw was that they allow too many stags in and that is a spoiler. Once they fill up it looks like a pick up joint. The guys are just hunting for women and that was a pathetic scene to see. We moved out at 1.30 but later came to know it is was open till 3 am.
will be visiting it again on another day
Rating : Average
I dont know whether its because I went on Diwali holidays, but surpricingly F bar was almost empty on last friday night....Music was just average.Bartenders are arrogant.Only good thing was the dance floor is spacious. And, for bollywood lovers, please keep away. And the existing very few crowd was dressed just casuall...which is unexpected from an F Bar..:D
Feeling super classy, much?
Enter F Bar and you can satisfy all your wishes of having the best music, page 3 socialite crowd and an elaborate food and alcohol list lined up. Also, for all the men out there, they have F TV playing on blown up screens, for the much needed eye candy.
An exclusive experience
I would rate this as one of the most exclusive and premium dining experiences in mumbai. The food is great and will definitely satisfy one. However the price is something to contemplate about. the ambience is vibrant and enjoyable with great music playing throughout the night. The bar is great but naturally steep. Its a must visit and an unforgettable experience.
Great place to let your hair down.
F-bar!..i'd heard too much about this place. So me and a bunch of friends landed up here on a saturday night. Firstly the place was very very crowded (which is understandable on a sat night). we somehow entered the lounge after a long wait and geared up for the night. The dj played OKAYISH music. Nothing great trust me. But yeah once you are 2-3 shots down you dont really give a rats ass about the quality of music as long as it is loud and sets you up! Drinks were pretty moderately priced not too high/not too low. They only serve carlsberg and tuborg pints (Costing 350/-each). We had a couple of beers and then went for shots. A shot of silver tequila costs around 500 bucks. Some may find it expensive but according to me..it wasnt (given the caliber of the place).
The dance floor was CRAMPED!!.. It made me remember the good ol days when i somehow enjoyed being in mosh-pits. But this was overly cramped..There was hardly even place to move/walk around and hence it is next to impossible if you plan to drink while dancing without breaking a bottle or two. But we were pretty much over-powered by alcohol and let ourselves loose on the dancefloor.
There is a very-sad and boring VVIP section just above the "P" section :p. All i could see was a bunch of 4-5 guys and girls looking below at us and the crowd having a good time. The smoking zone is very spacious and has a bar as well. Would suggest you to stock yourself with smokes.
Overall a great place..superb ambiance and above average music. Nothing crazzy and above expectations.
Best Ambiance !!
I went there for the New Year Eve when Albin Myers dropped his music and recently when DJ Ben Nicky came !! The best part about this place is the separate diner upstairs and a posh spacious lounge downstairs connected by a neon lit staircasea !! Terrace area outside, complete with wooden ramps and water bodies, is heaven for people who smoke !! Only couples are allowed so the crowd is pretty good as well !!
Whats the hype all about !
I happened to go to F bar with a couple of friends on 09/12/2012. I planned on joining a few friends who were going to go there early. Since they were going early they had put my name on the guest list. When I reached there they asked me whose guest list was I on. When I gave him the name without checking he arrogantly replied that my name was not there. I called up my friends who were inside to confirm if my name was on the list. They confirmed that my name was indeed on the list. Still the front desk person refused to acknowledge my name being on the list. I have travelled around the world and been to the best of lounges but never before have encountered such poor customer service. Being in the service industry its appalling to know that a lounge/bar that considers itself the best in the city offers such poor levels of service. The after taste left a lot to be desired and I can vouch that it lost a few customers yesterday for sure.
Hopefully someone is reading the review and taking the necessary course of action.
cheaters at the bar
went there last friday ... had spent over 12grand.. but was very disappointed by the bartenders cause i could see them cheating on the measurements of the alcohol served ... and what made it worse was the attitude... of the bartenders. Dint expect this from such a franchise...
What a place! we went there on a friday night to celebrate a friends birthday...it turned out to be the best clubbing experience of our life..located on the third floor of the india bulls centre, which did seem like an odd choice of address initially, the place is spread over two levels..the diner upstairs and a posh spacious lounge downstairs connected by a neon lit staircase.. a terrace area outside, complete with wooden ramps and water bodies, is heaven for smokers who are usually packed in small rooms at clubs like hype and trilogy...the place has an air of exclusivity and you know that the moment u come out of the lift..entries are through guestlist and only for patrons above 21years of age..with an official 3k cover charge for others..the crowd is rich and beautiful comprising of models, foreigners and working professionals who are all dressed to impress..the striking feature about the place is the split level dance floor in the centre...it is lined with screens that display visuals of fashion shows from around the world...the dj console is located conveniently giving the patrons a chance to interact with the dj who takes suggestions as well...the music system is thumping with a good mix of edm, chartbusters n house numbers keeping the place in a state of frenzy all night long..the drinks are steeply priced..350 for beer, vodka shots starting from 500 but that did not seem to bother the crowd as the bar was packed throughout...the bartenders are attentive n quick...but the best part is waiters, who are serving the tables, also come up to the patrons on the dance floor and ask them if they would like something from the bar! never seen such courtesy at any mumbai club...the 1.30 deadline is the only downer but the music starts early to ensure you have worn out your dancing shoes till then...all in all, with trilogy shut, F Lounge and Bar could easily lay claim to being the best club mumbai has to offer! a fan for life.
WORTH THE HYPE !!!
INTRO AND AMBIENCE : Visited F Bar Tuesday Night 15/05/2012 and booked a table for two in advance. As soon as you enter you know youve come to an elite fashion spot. The Place is done up beautifully and the decor, interiors and ambience are definitely winning it for the place the very instant you step in. The amazing and spacious lobby of the Indiabulls One Tower itself exudes a great vibe and gets you set for a Royal welcome.
When I arrived at 8:45 (yes it was an early dinner) the place was empty with maybe three other tables occupied. The servers were very attentive probably coz they were free with not too many guests around. Since its a brand new place and probably due to my day and time of visit, the chef himself came out and helped us select dishes from the menu which was awesome. One of the servers kept hovering around our table a tad too much more than our comfort level would enjoy and kept us badgering with questions like if we would like to drink something over and over again, even after being asked for a few minutes to order, is the only point I was not too happy with.
FOOD: The menu is extensive with a lot of innovative names and items primarily a mix of Italian and Indian items. We went in for Chicken Caesar salad which was perfect with the chicken being very soft and tender. Decent portion for Rs. 450 (with chicken). We then ordered the tava ravas seared with tequila sauce (Rs.450) as an apetizer reccomended by the chef. The presentation was great, but just four ravas pieces and nothing to brag about for the taste. It was more bland than anything but the ravas was definitely fresh and cooked well. Next Burnt Garlic prawn Risotto (Rs 650)which was made really well and tasted good too. Not spectacular but definitely very good. We ordered a mocktail English Summer which was average a tad too sweet (Rs. 250).
DESSERT: We signed off with Baileys Kulfi with gulab jamun (Rs. 600) which was DELICIOUS however the gulab jamuns were not the best Ive had. But the Kulfi definitely made it worth it !
OVERALL the place is definitely worth more than just one visit. The ambience and interiors are definitely the high points. I was told that on weekends it gets packed and entry with cover etc however before 10:30 PM there will be no cover to enter on weekends too. 1 star less for the annoying server, NO TAKE-AWAY/TOGO (since they have no containers was the reason: its okay to have no carry out to keep the standard up but just a mention of it somewhere would be helpful for people maybe for the future) and average Tava Ravas (apetizer). Else everything perfect.
