Felt cheated with the growells++ Scheme
A place which is always preferred by my kids for games and by us for shopping. But it disappointed me when suddenly around 600 plus growelles++ points from my account were deducted stating that they were lapsed. I had almost 1500 plus points in my account.
and when ever contacted for redemption of my points the excuse given was that there are no discount coupons thus I was asked to contact in a week. This has happened to me three times And I am fed up asking the redemption. Now I hate visiting the place because of being cheated.
Growells 101 mall at Kandivali East
The mall has setup a marketing unit to include G++ points for purchases made by customers. I don't know if I'm the first customer who have been cheated by the staff working at this desk. I had made 3 purchases on 8th May 2013. I finished shopping and approached the counter at 22:15 and was told by the staff that counter is closed and I will have to drop the bills in the drop and the points will be get credited in a day or two. I dropped all the three bills with my mobile number written on it. Of the three bills deposited there was one bill from big bazaar amounting to Rs 9500 which would earned me 450 G++ credit points. I was a bit apprehensive about getting credit on this bill and my assumption worked out to be true. The mall gave me credit for Macdonald 2 bills for purchases made for Rs 358 and 170 but has still not given me credit for the high value bill of Rs 9500. I spoke to several staff members handling this desk and was told that it takes time to clear the backlog. Last week on 10th May I spoke to a lady supervisor and she too gave me the same answer. Yesterday 13th May I spoke to Chandrakant who upon checking the system confirmed that I have still not been credit to the high value bill of Rs 9500 . I feel someone working at this desk has diverted my credit points for his personal gains else it should not have taken so much time to process my bill. How come only two out of the three bills have got processed still remains an unsolved mystery. I don't have inclination to continue my relationship with this mall which has fraudulent intentions. I request other customers to be aware of this racket as the people managing the marketing desk are not there to help but to fleece the customers. I was suppose to receive a call back from someone senior in this unit but I have'nt still received any such call. Trust the mall management takes a serious view of this issue and ensure they put in more stringent controls around this process of depositing purchase bills in the drop box after off hours. This matter needs to be further investigated to avoid a repeat occurrence.
Mall to be avoided in Mumbai
Growel mall management is very rude to customers. This mall should be strictly avaoided. They run Growel++ scheme to promote the mall. But when it comes to redeem points earned under the scheme , they play all tactics to avoid the redeem of points. They do not know what is meaning of cutomer service. Vey bad attitude towards the customer. You should strictly avoid this mall.
