Not Worth It....
Having heard about this joint, I made it with my family. We had decent expectations from the place. However the service and the food was cold..We went during peak lunch hours and were the only ones at the joint...Each and every items in the thali was cold....Not even a single food item was warm or hot...The service was pathetic...the boys were only interested in chatting and not serving food...The only thing served hot was the finger bowl to wash the hands..
Its not worth it.....
Me and my friend happened to visit this place on a whim while passing through the lane where it is located. We used to drive across it many times but never thought of going here, However, that day we were tired of having north indian outside and decided to have a wholesome gujarati meal.
As soon as we entered, we ushered into the a/c section and the attendants started getting the huge plates and serving us as though there was no tomorrow! It is a bit difficult to catch up with their speed of serving and your speed of eating but you manage it in the end.
The thali contained the typical stuff any gujarati style thali has in such similar places. these guys were very generous with the ghee and actually served us with their heart as though we were guests at their house. The best part about the meal was the aamras and the dal khichdi.
Pricing at this place is surprisingly 300 bucks per plate plus taxes. Considering it is a very small and simple place we thought the cost would not be this much. However, the food definitely makes up for the cost you pay quite unexpectedly though :)
