MIDNIGHT FOOD HANG-OUT
Midnight food hang-out!!
Well this place has one of the most delicious North-West frontier (avadhi) menu I've tasted.
Plus it's your best bet at any time of the night post your party-sessions to head straight for this place to have some really nice, uncomplicated, delicious Indian Food.
Good place for hookah fanatics- bad for people who're sensitive to smoke.
For First timers i would definately recommend the peshawari daal and any traditional chicken dish.
GOOD FOOD & EXCELLENT HUKKA.
We went on a tuesday evening at 10 pm and they were full but luckily there was no waiting so we got a table soon enough.
Ambience & Decor: It is a great place to chill out at. There was good music playing. I like the way the place is done up with various seatings.
Food: Ordered Paneer tikka, Paneer do pyazza and dal makhani. Paneer tikka and dal was good but the dish of the day was the paneer do pyaza. Ordered a hooka also which was ok.
Service: The service was extremely good. The waiters were helpful and courteous especially since we were celebrating someones birthday. The best thing is even if you are having only hooka they let you sit in peace and not rush you.
Peeves: Unfortunately they now shut by 1:30 unlike earlier when they would remain open till three. They don't serve any alcohol.
Great place to hang out at especially since we have very few rooftop restaurants.
The food here is just above average and the service is a bit amateurish. Waiters are kind, but probably not experienced like you might expect a wait staff to be. The food is your traditional mughlai/north-western frontier fare, meaning very rich and heavy! The mushroom tikka was a great starter I must say - the dal makhani was as expected and the dum aaloo was just way too oily/rich/heavy for my taste.
The ambiance is what is special here - sitting and tables are of cane wood which gives it more of a tropical look. I WISH this place served drinks, but unfortunately, all they have to offer are hookahs. Yech!
