Good range of biryani
Its one of the low profile yet most delicious food corner.Their famous Kakori kebab and the Galauti kebab are simply delcious with right mix of flavours , richness and spices. The chicken Shammi was also interesting. chicken sheekh khaas and dum gosht biriyani are must try. However ther biggest bummer is there low quality staff and cutleries.Decent for average dining experience. Very easy on wallet but classy people should avoid this place,
Biryani @Kakori House, Saki Naka
They offer dum-gosht Lucknowi biryani, dum murgh masala biryani, chicken noormahal biryani, mutton noormahal biryani, and a veg biryani. We are the lovers of their Dum-Gosht Biryani. And since they are located at Saki Naka, they deliver within 45 minutes of ordering. One packet is enough for 2 adults. A little high on their oil/ghee, the taste here is completely different. Its more of the Awadhi style prevalent in parts of Uttar Pradesh in India. One packet comes with 6-7 small tender pieces of mutton.
Define Kebab and curry Awesomeness
I was at the Andheri east branch of the famous Kakori house. the place is small yet well kept and well organized.
i called for my favorite Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan ...... it was so tasty that i finished it all by myself even though i don't over stuff myself, it happened.
some of my friends keep asking me where to go for kebabs and curries and also always want to have a good experience....
Define Kebab and curry Awesomeness- KAKORI HOUSE
the staff is polite and is handled by one of the most experienced managers of the chain Mr. Gomes who was good company during my meal.... and also shared a lot of info that i was not initially not aware of...
Thank you all at making my lunch experience a one to remember....
The best kebabs I've had...
They're not exaggerating when they're calling kakori as the 'worlds softest kebabs'. Totally rocks. just melts in your mouth. Try the seekhs and the reshmi kebabs also. Great to have this in sakinaka, so close to my office too! went there for lunch last week. definitely going back soon.
Too Greedy ...
I have in the past rated Kakori House kababs as having the best Mutton Biryani and Galawti Kababs in Mumbai. That was about 2 years back ...
The problem with these guys is that they have become too greedy ! I know costs have gone up but not by 70-80% !!! They have increased the price of mutton biryani from 200 to 280 and Galawti kababs from Rs. 195 odd to Rs. 300 !!! Ridiculous
At that price point and for the small quantity of kababs (4 pcs), I can eat at a fancy Indian restaurant with far far better ambience, quality of food and service. Gave it a miss after seeing their crazy prices...
