T20 world cup in style
Not the most famous watering hole in the bkc however this place cannot be missed. Located in a cozy corner of Sofitel this pub is certainly classy. The unique wine cellar is simply stunning. Been here during the t20 happy hour specials although it was pretty silent for a Indo-pak match and not the best place to catch a cricket match the hospitality makes up for it. I would recommend dropping by with a large group of 6-10 people and booking the private mezzanine area (At no extra cost) Decent Cocktail list to choose from along with the usual alcohol, the happy hours are a total value for money with the buy 1 get 1 free promotion that is running through the t20 world cup. A definite must try!! Do not let the price of Vada Pav shock you (Rs 500) I would suggest snacking on the free Nuts and chugging on the beer. A couple of drinks and a couple of starters for 2 would set you back approximately 2k. Go here: 1) If you work around the BKC area (due to limited options) 2) The staff and service 3) the bliss of Luxury 4) T20 Happy Hours 5) do not like overcrowded places.

BRILLIANT AMBIENCE !
I went to LeBar at around 11pm on a saturday night, and to my delight found an empty couch right opposite the Screen. As soon as you enter the hotel you are taken aback by the sheer beauty and elegance of the interiors and design. It is truly a beautiful hotel. Le Bar is the lobby bar located very close to the entrance but yet slightly secluded, so you can enjoy your privacy as well. The Bar is beautifully designed and has a breathtaking wine collection styled and designed in a glass casing from the ceiling to the bottom. The ambience and service are simply top notch and sure-shot winners for this place.
An IPL Match screening was on and they had an offer for 5 beverages (but they meant only Indian beer) and a platter of some paneer and chicken apetizers for Rs. 1000 (1250 with tax). But a deal like that with an ambience such as LeBar is definitely a steal. The service as expected was top notch with the server (I think was the manager) being very prompt, polite and well-mannered.
The drinks were good (bottled so not much there to talk about) and the platter was decent i.e. well cooked chicken and paneer (not the best Ive had but definitely good). Other than the deal I enjoyed, the menu boasts of a number of dishes and a variety of cocktails but of course at 5 star rates as expected.
But Overall I hada great experience and would recommend this place to any Mumbaikar looking to unwind and relax in style on any given night.
Thanks for reading. Hope the review helps.
