Mama Mia

quick easy food. Tasty and the quantity is good too. Prices are decent. Their Baked Dishes and Pizzas are all good. Have tried all of their non - vegetarian pizzas and they are super good! However my favorite has to be their baked dishes -the bulldog and love bite! Creamy and rich...each bite is a mouthful.
They also have a selection of sandwiches and noodles. So an overall excellent choice for quick non fussy fast food.

Average Pizza's

Visited the place with my cousins the seating arrangement on the first floor is good with large glass windows. The place was nearly empty we ordered 3 pizzas 2 non veg and one veg Partita-Quattro and Hawaiian fiesta non veg pizza'sand Margaretta in veg The pizza were good in taste but the base I mean the bread was very hard i feel if that would have been till softer it would have made the pizza more yummy. The service was really slow and rest all was okkkkkkkkk

Shocked, disgusted & disappointed to find rat poop

Shocked, disgusted & disappointed to find rat poop in Chinese takeaway

I have yummy memories eating and ordering food from Mama Mia for years now, be it pizzas, pastas, salads, subs, burgers, Chinese, etc. And sadly but for a very good reason, these memories have reached a screeching halt, permanently.

On Sunday, July 28, I placed a takeaway order for Galaxy Chicken in Brown Sauce, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Chilly gravy, for lunch at work. Though I ordered the pasta for myself, I couldn’t resist having some of my colleagues’ Chinese fare. As we ate, to their horror of horrors, they found a rat dropping in the Chicken Fried Rice/Chicken Chilly gravy! And they were unsure if they unknowingly ingested some more… yikes!

I called up the place and notified them about the obnoxious discovery. The person on the line non-nonchalantly offered to send a replacement order. I denied the offer since we didn’t want to risk eating any more of food that could contain rat poop.

When I questioned him about their hygiene, rather the lack of it, he said it was a mistake. It’s a mistake if the food is salty, super spicy or sour. But presence of animal excreta in the food is gross negligence of the highest order. I told him this was simply unpardonable and he tried to bribe me with a pizza! We didn’t want to eat anything from there so I asked for a refund and got one for the Chinese fare. All said and done, we’re scarred for life!

Moral of the story: None of us are ever ordering/eating from Mama Mia’s.

Great Pizza's can beat Domino's

Yesterday i had been at Mama Mia just to try the garlic bread......so i ordered the garlic bread supreme and it was really yummy.....

After that I ordered Pizza too because I liked the garlic bread.I ordered italiano Pizza with tomato toppings and it was really good.
I hope to visit the place again but next time will be at Bandra for sure.

Pizzas and more...

I've been a regular at Mama Mia's, Opera House for many years now and have always been in love with their pizzas (especially their freshly kneaded pizza bread) and pastas..

Visited their Byculla outlet for the first time last week after happening to spot it while driving across the area. Thankfully, this one has no change as such from the original Opera House Mama Mia's. Of course, this was less crowded, infact there were many empty tables.

Loved the seating arrangement here, with the seating made upstairs with huge glass windows that face the road and the Dominos bang outside. Good times, good pizzas continue...

Pathetic service!

Well, had been ordering for quite some time from home but their last order really pissed me off. Am a regular order of Mama Mia from d opera house one to my office place & have always liked their food, u cn c my review there! Well it was a weekday & as usual me n my decided to have food from mama mia (which we usually do once every 10 - 12 days, since my roomie works in a hotel & hardly gets day shift!). We called up & placed our order & d bill was around Rs.195 - Rs.200. But their manager said he couldn't deliver the food (to Dadar east) due to the fact that min order should be of Rs.250 in case of home deliveries. Even after persuading him for 15 mins & trying to convince him d fact that we ordered food on a regular basis, i don't know why they couldn't deliver the food! So that day, my roomie did say some nice words to him & then we left it there after 20mins of verbal communication. He lost an order of Rs.200 (which i guess apparently didn't bother him) for his ego of additional Rs.50!
There was more to come from their side. The next day my roomie & I spotted the delivery guy jus outside our home & we were in for a shock wen we discovered that he was there for a single order next door which was worth only Rs.150 & had a single delivery to dadar east. This kind of service!! We owed never again to order from Mama Mia (byculla branch) due to their pathetic customer service!!
