Awesome Burgs! And Good Music
Visit Manchester United Café for world class burgers inspired from the places around the world. What is extremely delightful is the various offers that make this place a must visit especially during matches and kick-offs.
Quick service, smoking area, great selection of imported beers is some of the reasons why I would visit this place often.
Do go with friends for a nice drink & watch MU ply
Visited MU cafe a few times... good food and ambiance.. ..seating arrangement is also quite relaxing...Staff are friendly, cordial and approachable.. Loved the continental food - pastas, pizzas, etc and those were mostly suggested by the staff and some of them were off the menu... This place has got more energy during matches obviously!! :-)
Have their non-veg platter if you love non-veg food!! A touch expensive but all in all a good place to hang around with friends.
Spot on with the sports bar concept
Out of the hang-out options inside the Phoenix Mills compound, ManU Cafe is out and out my favourite. In spite of the fact that one has to wait up sometimes to get a table, I've found even the secret nooks and crannies here to be comfortable enough spaces to sit with friends, get a drink and quality food, and get back 'happy' (sic)
The ambiance of the place is vivid, lined up with TV sets and a massive TV projection wall, which is beaming out sports all the time. On a game day, be it football, cricket, F1, anything else in vogue, you'd find the crowds turn up en masse. So, its a good idea to check the TV listings before leaving home.
Now over to the drinks. ManU Cafe runs a liberal happy hour, with a BOGO (Buy one get one free) everyday till 9 pm. After that, different promotions for different days, like Monday gets a flat 50% off on all orders after 9PM (for food as well). The liquor is reasonably priced for a prime location, and the beer pitchers only cost INR 750 for 2 Liters (or 4, if you order in the happy hours). Even the non-alcoholic drinks are pretty good, although I've only tasted them and not downed as much as the alcoholic ones. Try the Funky Toffy shakes.
The food, yes, its the food boss that makes the difference. BBQ Chicken wings are a must have if you like getting your hands dirty, albeit a bit on the sweet side their sauce. works for me. Jalapeno Poppers for those of you interested in Veg bar bites, although I could have their Onion Rings endlessly. The Popcorn Chicken is a nice helping, although you could do with asking them to bring the masala they sprinkle on top separately. I did not like that masala too much.
The Stir Fry Chicken Sausages are not for everyone, because of the ginger sauce they are made in. I love the taste, others in my group did not like it so much. And if you're looking for a filling portion for the vegetarians, go for the Nachos. They know how to do it spot on, complete with a nice helping of cheese and salsa.
Service: there could be attention issues with the waiting staff, so be on the look out. I've noticed, in large groups, I get more attention and prompter service than when we go in groups of 3-4.
I've also been here for lunches a couple of times, and I can vouch for their very meaty burgers, which they know how to do for you.
Overall, my go to place while in Phoenix Mills and up for a drink or few.
Best Place for Football Fans.
The place is really small to be having screenings. But the crowd is really lively. The best time to visit it when United is playing. The crowd rally comes alive. The food was also nice. But during screening you have to eat it with the plate in your hand so it was kinda annoying but it was really delicious and not too expensive either. I've visited the one in Malad too and it is bigger than this. Both are Really Nice.
Manchester is here!
Been here umpteen number of times. I never get tired of this place. The atmosphere during the matches is electrifying. Even during the non-match days the place never keeps you down. Good food, energetic staff, this is the place to be for all football lovers!
To add to this, the schemes doing the rounds during the week makes this a paisa vasool proposition.
I was pleasantly surprised by the tastiness and rather nice quality of food offered at MUCB. The food is rather unhealthy but is delicious and is ideal comfort food. The ambience is probably the best part of the experience and on weekends you are usually met with die heart fans screaming the name of their favorite football club.
A bunch of us friends landed here last weeked and the waiters / servers were really rude. The dishes we ordered were lukewarm to cold and the servers wouldn't heat / replace them.
They were busy talking to each other and the manager (some fat / bald guy) dressed in white wouldn't do anything to get them in line.
This used to be a great place but the standard has really gone down with a bunch of illeterate people serving / managing the joint.
Will not come back !! Lot of other options around Lower Parel to choose from than this ill managed ghetto of a place
These guys only server beer or alcohol to girls only when they come with guys!
They NEVER ask for ID then...
But when you come alone with your girl friends.. they ask for ID and serve drinks!
This has happened to me and rest of my girl friends several times!
It has happened only in this place.
This is very very wrong!
You either ask every time whether or not there are guys or dont ask at all!
Bad DJ, Bad service - Avoid!!!
Honestly expected better stuff from these guys than what was served.. Music sucked, its like one of the roadside "Thambi" restaurants where you end up searching where the heck the waiter is when you want to order.
1. Issue with understanding what orders need to be taken - ordered 2 pints, but somehow English does not seem to be understood at this place and you had to repeat and reorder
2. No draught beer - towers even though mentioned on the menu. God knows why when they were serving Draught Mugs.
3. Inconsistency with other ManU Cafe Bar offers.. like the bucket of pints offer
4. Torn-down menu cards
And all these meted out on a Friday evening in a party city like Mumbai is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Seriously guys - AVOID!
To top it all the jokers do not seem to understand that service tax is on the the service charge and NOT ON THE ENTIRE BILL AMOUNT..
Seriously sucks big time - would love to write to their main HQ (in the UK???) and their service (or lack of)!!
One of the best Karaoke places
Have been to three places for Karaoke - Soul Casa Fry, Irish Pub and Manchester United Club - the Manchester United Club ranks the best for its Thursday Karaoke nights.
Well the reason is simple, almost everyone sings with you - when I was at the seated at the centere - every1 at the left, right and even behind sing with you as if there is a chorus without a mike when u sing the song
The crowd is also amazing.
And when I sang, I saw some decent dance performances as well - a salsa, a ball dance, etc, etc
And somewhere the quality of karaoke is also better - I could not sing "Words" and "Nothings gonna change my love for you" better at Soul Casa Fry or Irish Pub - but the system at Manchester seems to suit me.
And the tip on the iceberg is - some excited people would take another mike and request to sing with you.
Plus if its a cricket or a soccer match on the same day - u can imagine the fun!!
An Unusual Ambience...
the place is good to visit for a unusual experience... the ambience is exciting and so is the music... the food tastes good... drinks are excellent... portions are adequate... the menu is priced appropriately as u dont feel like the money burns a hole in ur pocket coz at the end its all worth the spend and the moment enjoyed. Really liked their 'Make ur own Manchester Kick off!'
Red it is !!
Speaking of the sports bars in Mumbai, this one at Palladium is clearly one of the best. It is slightly expensive than the SBX but they cover up in the quality of food and crowd. The place is packed during matches with adds up to the experience. The cover charge during matches is around 1000 bucks for which you get limited drinks and unlimited soft drinks. Its kind of neverland for Man United fans.
P. S. Even if you are a Chelsea fan, you will like this place :D:D
Been there on a Wed nite after a not-so-good experience at the Noodle bar....was delighted as we were a group of 8-9 people...& were welcomed with broad smiles...Service was g8...Ordered the Non-veg platter which consists of 16 pc starters...chicken & fish - am told they were lovely....
As I was eatng veg - ordered the Spinach Gnocchi - which I was informed by the server that not all people like it - mayb i cud order sumthing else..He meant its an acquired taste - so maybe i shud avoid it...but i went ahead & ordered it which he sweetly noted. We had lots of beer ...& the moctails were lovely....Had Kooffe toofee which was superb....well done. The Spinach gnocchi was superb in taste & in presentation - loved in. SUPER MUSIC, SUPER FOOD & KNOWLEDGEABLE SERVICE...though we were the only table way fast their closing time....they did not disturb us at all....it was a superb ending to a lovely evening.
Will surely visit again...bigger the group the better
Stick to watching United games elsewhere
I've been a United supporter for around 20 years, and I know part of it's success has been how it's marketed itself as a worldwide brand and how it's had an incredible ability to have many winning seasons under SAF.
MU cafe bar, however, is a little embarassing for a few reasons:
- It's s*** expensive. If you want to drink here, prepare to spend as if it's an exclusive nightclub. (2000-3000) to barely be drunk.
- The food's disgusting and again overpriced. They have the audacity to serve nonsense with a lot of salt and oil and name them after United legends like Scholes, Giggs, and Busby
- They give you these cover passes during game nights (around 900 / person) which you can use towards your bill or for four cans of Red Bull (??). A lot of 17/18 year olds go for those 4 cans of Red Bull and become these raging, repulsive, United fans that fans of other clubs hate.
One saving grace is that if a United player of a PL trophy tour comes around town, you will get a chance to see them at this bar.
gr8 place to be thruly fantastic.
i went to this place with a friend on saturday 11th feb 2012 as it was the place i wanted to try out and i was happy tht i was nt dissappointed as the place is truly gr8 and lives up to its expectation.
the decor and the ambience was gr8 and songs played was also nice.when we entered this place the place was empty as there was a manchester united match later we orderd olive and tomato brucheeta, thai red curry and mi goerang all were superb food items and well prepared by the chef.
the service was also quick and we were nt dissappointed by tht part.the price is little on higher side but totally worth it.
this place rocks and can be visited again and again.happy hours r also nice as we get to enjoy two drinks on the price of one.
three cheers for this place i loved it the first time and will definetly go back..
I wanna be a rockstar
Karaoke is the single reason I come here. Period. Every place serves alcohol and food but the amazing vibe of the karaoke nights is what I like.
To those who know me off-line, it's no secret I enjoy rock music. And it's an open secret that I am a bathroom singer. Singing in public was always a petrifying idea but the temptation to do a (debatable) Hetfield impression and sing 'Turn the Page' can be too much to not give in to especially when Mario cheers you on.
Pass the mike and cover your ears!
It's been three weeks that i have been visiting Man United cafe on a Thursday especially since its a karaoke nite...I have been a karaoke regular at possible all the karaoke hot spots and finally landed at Man united cafe for karaoke on the insistence of a few other karaoke friends.
On entering the place i see the whole place brimming wid people who are so engrossed in wats happening n are oblivious to everything else happening around them. on moving in i realise that the nite is being conducted by Kroakin karaoke n i must admit that i have heard a lot about these guys from the people everywhere.
i immediately wen to the lady at the consol and asked her if i cud sing a song and she sweetly told me that the line was really long but she wud accommodate me if possible.... cant blame her as i cud see it was busy like hell.
While i waited for my song i experienced sumthing that i have never seen before at any karaoke nite, people singing, others dancing n the singer getting to drink sumthing straight from a bottle which i later realised was a vodka mix....GREAT.
I finally got to sing my song at the fag end of the nite but relished every bit of it and i must say it was worth the wait.
It seems like there is a team of these two guys and a lady that run the show there n they do a fantastic job. They really get the crowd entertained and make people feel important. The guy wid the long hair, Nash i think it is seems very organized and knows wat he does and exudes a lot of confidence, while the Lady is just busy seeing that everything is in order and all get to sing their songs. The host is terrific and get the action goin and never lets the momentum die and ptus u at ease if u are a first timer....way to go guys.
The service i must say is really prompt. the food is Good and the staff warm. Its a good thing to see a nice pleasant and tall handsome guy greet u wen u enter.
so much for my first experience. the next two weeks were the same if not better n i must admit that kroakin karaoke nites are fun nites if ur a real karaoke lover and not a show off.
Please keep these nites rocking as they redefine the term karaoke
keep it up guys...
After a long time of not moving out of my house went to Man U Cafe on thursday as i heard it was a karaoke night ........i entered at like 11 and saw the crowd, there were faces that i have seen everywhere the group usually performs. i then went to the karaoke host to give my request and was denied saying there were too many people in line to sing and all of them were fresh but what upset me was i saw people from their usual group singing more than 2 songs when i was denied even 1 request the icing on the cake was when on a busy night where it is difficult to accomodate 1 song the karaoke dj and the host had enough time to sing their own songs which clearly meant it was decided by the organizers that it will be a private karaoke for their own group. who on a karaoke night goes out of the way on a busy night to let one of their group members to perform rap on his own music which proves my point of it being a private karaoke for them , im really surprised with cafe management of not looking into this matter and just alowing the Kroaking Karaoke group to carry out their pvt parties , it has also come to the notice of a few more visitors to the place that they see the same rapper come there every thursday and give the host a cd of his own ........ another point that needs to be looked at is the host always keeps his hand around women whilst taking their request or whilst giving them the song , after the performance the singer is forced on a shot of vodka even the guest refuses at first which means their clear intention is to get people drunk so that they do not realize the host holding them. i guess this matter should be taken seriously by the management of the cafe cause if someday he touches a girl from my group im sure the host will end up with a broken nose. im really disappointed with the partiality shown by the dj and the host towards their own personal group and not being just to the rest of the crowd. I would rather go to a bar next time and drink cause atleast the music played over there will be by different and various artiste and not by the same group of people or a single artiste.my serious advice to all karaoke lovers would be to go to another club or place where there is karaoke on thursday as in Man U they will only be disappointed by the host for not getting a request but he will make sure he and his partner Nash who throws his weight around gets a song to sing on a busy night.
Great Place,Unfriendly Bartenders & poor service.
I went to this place on a thursday night around 10 after doing some shopping at palladium & Phoenix.. They had a karaoke night tht day ,so hopped in with one of my friends. We were told to seat at the bar. As we sat the bartender came nd was just seeing us dont knw wht had happened. We asked for the bar menu nd ordered 1 Corona & a Bacardi rum ,he replied sorry we dont have corona.. Nd u knw wht it was there right in front, in a display fridge, i showed him its there. Then dont knw wht he replied nd went somewhere..He came back again aftr 2 mins,nd asked for a order ...I told him its okeh u dont have a corona give me a Peroni. After 5 mins another bartender came nd made us understand tht the will only serve tuborg tonight as they have some promotion going on..I mean okeh..tht guy could have told me in the beginning itself... After i got a tuborg my friend asked for his bacardi for which the bartender proudily asked for our ids .I am 22 so i show nd its legal age for drinking beer. My poor friend had to drink beer whole night, just bcoz he was nt carrying a proper id, he just turned 25 in april ..& we explained the matter to him..But he was just trying to act smart ..Come on dude,we are your guests nd we r paying for whtever we are having ,dont show ur attitude to us...Really lacks that customer service point of view a good bar has... I have been to Man u bar at bangkok & even at delhi. But this one was Pathetic. The bartenders really treat you as u r doing some deed on them if ur paying for ur drinks..Not only me some issue again happened between a guy & tht same bartender. At the end we enjoyed the ambiance & the karaoke but the bartender thing really put me off.. Will go back sure to see if they improve on their service but only bcoz i am a big MAN-U fan..
Not worth on events
I had visited the cafe for the first time in Mulund during the final match of Champions League. Did the early booking thinking the cafe will be full at night due to event. While booking they ensured 5 pints of beers/5 small vodka/5 red bull/unlimited soft drinks. When we reached there the cafe was so much crowded like local train.. No space to stand.. They had told we may not get table but we ll be allowed to enter.. and they will have restriction on number of people.. but that was not the case.. Management was pathetic.. On top of that beer was out of stock.. In second half soft drink was also not available.. Pathetic experience during such a big event
Worth A Visit if u r a Cricket or Football Fan
Well guys i've visited this place on 3 occasions all of them during an IPL Season, nd lemme tell u, it was worth a visit, I went der with ma 3 other frnds nd v all hd a gr8 tym. Even look out 4 der special offers during the IPL Season, last tym dey were offering 1 Bottle of Smirnoff wid 6 red-bull so v didnt bother to order much apart 4m dat. Bt all in all its a gud place to catch up wid frnds during Matches.
Not worth it
They advertise .. happy hours till 9 pm.. rched there at 8:40 pm, and as i placed the drinks order after 5 mins., the guy said its already past 9 pm "AS PER OUR SYSTEM", .. i told them u can check IST from any source, but they were adamant to their tweaked system time.. felt that was a bit unprofessional and unfriendly ... food was strictly below average ... definitely not worth the exorbitant prices... recommended only for the sports watching action... when u can neglect the other negatives...
Visited this place during the ongoing IPL season to catch the MI vs DC match....n it was the masters b'day too tht day. Had an amazing time. The first thing tht catches ur eye as u enter is a huge concave screen projecting the matches. When u move further up thr's 1 more (flat n smaller 1) hanging above the bar. Besides these huge screens thr r 4-5 lcds, and a nice sound system to accompany the experience of a true Sports bar.
Since it was Sachin Tendulkar's b'day thr was a small celebration by cutting a cake shaped as Sachin's Indian team jersey; n was later served to all. Don't knw if it was for tht particular day or something but the happy hours were on till 9 pm, which was pretty cool as u could get 1 on 1 free. So 2 Asahi beer pints (for tht matter ny..Corona, Heni etc) would cost u 300 bucks which i felt was reasonable. A large JD wuld cost u @ 675 bucks+taxes...but u still have 1 free on tht so its cheap.
The reasons for pulling away 1 star...
1. Food is quiet ordinary.....they could have done better. Vegies do not have much of an option. When u open up a franchise in India u do have to keep Indian sentiments in mind...like one did by McD n Pizza Huts...but i guess they will evolve
2.No loo in the bar...U need to use the Palladium's loo if u need to take a leak, for which u need to walk out of the bar
But overall a gr8 place to be if u wanna catch sme live sports action, b it football, cri, tennis....Highly recommended
Awesome Place - Great Atmosphere - Amazing Crowd
The moment I heard there was a Manchester United cafe in Mumbai, I knew I had to be there. So I was there this sunday, for the title deciding clash against Chelsea.
I reached the place just before kickoff but was put off by a long line outside the pub. But gladly the line cleared off in a huff. They were charging a cover charge of 750 for the nite. This would include 4 pints of Kingfisher beer or 4 pegs of whiskey. This was all the background part.
Just as we entered, I was taken back by people singing Glory Glory Manchester United in all its full glory. The place was crowded. There was hardly any place to stand let alone sit. But the atmosphere more than made up for it.
The place has a huge 20' projected screen on one side and another smaller one on the other side. There were also quite a few LCD's streaming the match so that you couldn't miss any of the action.
The place was really overcrowded that day because of the match but I've heard its peaceful and cosy on other days. The bar had a huge crowd in front but waiters were pretty good and they did handle the crowd really well.
Only if the bar had a lil' more space it would have been even better. But it didn't matter. The place was just too good. And when the goal was scored the whole place erupted. There was singing, cheering and what not. Some stupid guy even sprayed beer all over the place.
In the end I realised I had been standing for almost 2 hours but it didn't matter. It was just pure fun watching your favorite team along with 150 other crazy people.
and btw I am going there again for the Champions League Final m/
Had a Rocking party!!
The place is a real good hangout destination for party lovers. I went there with my friends on a party occasion and enjoyed a lot. Food was good.. I was full with starters only.. specially I liked the nachos. After all the food and drinks.. we had a great time. The tracks playing there were enticing enough to get u on feet and with full on music we danced a lot. . The place was full of energy and service was tremendously fast. I'm waiting for yet another party chance.. and for another happening evening.
We had a High time!
Totally loved this place. Many Man U haters are sure gonna miss a pub so good!
Since it was a friday, we made it a point to make a reservation (recommended). The waiters were all very friendly and attentive.
We ordered Nachos (delicious, delicious, delicious), French fries (good) and chicken satay(good) as starters. We had also ordered some stupid honey chicken which wasn't bad but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
For the main course we had fish and chips and chicken Risotto. The Risotto was pure awesomeness!
On the flip side we had to listen to justin bieber. ? baby, baby, baby ? that shit is still playing, playing, playing in my head. As I write this I don't know what's worse, the hangover or the song.
paradise for MANUTD fans
If u are a die hard supporter of manchester united..and if u havent been here...shut down this page right away n head towards MUCB..
During football matches..this place turns out to be a livewire for football lovers..with chants and songs all over..its properly matched with a pint of beer and some cheezy starters..
Damage: depends on the match ..normally an avg pint of beer is around 250..
I Like !!
I love the way they have done up the place in red with a mix of tables, bar seating and couches. Multiple screens ensure that no one has a bad view of the game going on.
A very extensive drink menu with some yummy cocktails. They could work a bit on the food offerings though.
Damages: 2 beers, 2 cocktails and 2 starters for Rs 2000
Will definitely go there especially during football matches.
Visiting Manchester Utd had been on my 'to do' list for a while, however, due to the busy working hours had not managed to visit it. Got pushed to go there with a friend who dropped in from the UK, last weekend.
Its a nice place; over all has good food, decent selection of beverages (both liquor as well as soft drinks), music is good and the crowd - quite buzzing. Though I think because it was the weekend, it was a bit too crowded for my liking; but the music and drinks made up for that. The staff is very polite and attentive. My rating:
Ambience: 6/10 (seating is a bit uncomfortable)
Would recommend this place; but for those who have issues with too much of crowd, suggest you make way here anyday except Friday / Saturday or the World Cup!
A recent trip to Man Utd, my first, with some pals, turned out to be educational in a matter of speaking as they have a lot of the Clubs history pasted on their wall. The place is damn spacious, a bit loud and has an awesomely hospitable, yet chilled out staff. Typically, my kind of place (MKoP!). The head chef, a lady (dont recollect her name, sadly!) is amazing and tries to catch up with most of the guests when shes not busy supervising in the kitchen. She, infact, treated me to an awesome pasta dish, which as per her, she was experimenting with...loved it! The food is by far the best I have had in a café-bar kind of set up. Superb place to catch up on football; overall an amazing place & experience. Must, must try
Now being a die-hard Man Utd. fan, there was no way in the world that I wasnt going to visit this place. I chose the Inter-Bayern Champions League final as the night to visit. Made an advance reservation for 12 and as a result got the table with the best view of the big screen. Cover charge of 600 bucks. Food - platter (non-veg) good, pastas good, desserts - icecream bowl pretty good. There was quite a lot of stuff on the menu that wasnt available. Drinks were good. THe problems : We got to see that ominous "You havent paid ur bills" stuff from Tata-Sky 2-3 times which was quite putting off. THey didnt have regular water and we were forced to buy QUA !!!!! The desserts we wanted weren't quite available & the crowd too was quite unenthu. THey need to up their service levels or else the (other) Sports bar in Phoenix could see their cash counters ringing away !!!!
This place is like a shot of tequila......It hits you harder than you can imagine....
Great place.......The atmosphere is amazing......Must visit for a Manchester United Fan.....
Staff is very polite and friendly......
Visit it when there are big matches.......Freaking amazing fans....
Bringing the FIFA Fever Home
Disclaimer: This review is based on the electrifying evening of the England Vs Germany match for the MUCB at Mulund
A fault of our own, we reached the newly opened MUCB at Mulund half hour past the kickoff for the Germany Vs England match and lo behold the crowd gathered outside the place was crazy!! Fans dressed in a myriad of Reds and Whites chanted and cheered for every goal so much that it should have been renamed Munich UCB frankly! Jokes apart, the organization was a complete chaos to begin with since they werent taking reservations (we tried talking sense into them by asking them to take a cover charge but that fell on deaf ears of the management it seemed- or maybe they were just too happy with the crowd they had managed to push in by 8pm)
After a long time of pushing, shoving and name dropping we managed to get ourselves in and man what a reception it was!! The energy was amazing, the colors devilish and just emotions running on adrenaline, this was worth every penny of the wait we had outside. There was the signature football anthems played by the DJ along with some great ol Rock tunes to add to the energy. Although we didnt get seats till the end of the match the LCDs are dropped in here and there along with 2 big ass screens making sure you dont miss any action.
Although the crowd was maddening we managed to get our drinks on time and the staff was very courteous. Lugging our beers around, we got tables around 9:30pm. The menu is really limited and yet heavy on the pocket, this sorely disappointed us.- I mean come on Dal Makhni in MUCB is a definite no no!! The food was not great and does nothing for your appetite or taste buds. They really need to do something about that menu of theirs. What would appeal a large group, is the offers they have on their beers (a lot of international ones) and Vodka.
This place is huge and what works for them is the Dug out area, the separate Smoking zone and a private area which takes you back to a pub back in England or at least makes you feel that way, even if its just for a couple of hours. The price for their food is definitely not worth it- 400 for a plate of Pasta is steep since the quantity is a pity too. This is definitely not a place for first dates and whiny girlfriends/friends. All in all- check out for a big match, have a roll of green on you, a bunch of football crazed fanatics and you are ready for a night of fun, memories and that special feeling.
Manchester United Dhaba!
Menu: There is really not much to choose. Starters are mostly Chinese. I kept wondering i am at Chinese restaurant. They really need to A BIG CHANGE,
Food: Awful. Just Awful. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad which didn't taste at all like one. The Bread crumbs were soggy. The Lettuce wasn't fresh. The Caesar sauce, well just wasn't there.
Service: Poor service is just an understatement! The Bar waiters have no clue what is served on the menu. I ordered a Satay chicken and i asked them what are the dips served. One waiter asks the other. The other one seems totally disinterested.
I had ordered a one starter and one main course. They both arrived at the same time. The bar waiter say to the other
"you are supposed to serve the starter first" OUT LOUD! Obviously they are not all trained !!
Ambience: A Large screen tv and two 32 inch tv which is pretty decent. Music just awful. They played Ronan Keating songs and Bryan Adams. Do the want me to tap my foot to that ?
And the waiters seem to be singing the song out loud.
The Look of the Bar wasn't appealing.
Being a Manchester Fan, I am totally disappointed. My recommendation to the people out there go to TGIF. Its way better!
The menu had incorrect prices printed.
Not all the cocktails were available - they are waiting for some license.
The food is simply horrible. Both the choice of food and the quality suck.
We reserved a place for 3, and when we reached there, we were told that they have no record of reservation. Manager and the waiters were all impolite and had no clue about life.
Its a pity that we came out pissed despite the reasonably good ambiance.
Bad Customer Policy
We booked a table 4 days in advance for 10 people. Today when we called to confirm our booking we are told that since they have a reservation for 35 people they cannot give us the table we asked for. Reason being when we called the person who took the booking did not CONFIRM our booking with the General Manager. And now since her General Manager has made the booking for 35 people we are being moved to another table in the corner. Talk about customer service specially from a restaurant that has just opened.
