The McDonald's with a but...
The food is standard. They mean well. They try hard but... this McDonald's always has something missing or broken. Either it's the coffee machine, or the softy machine, or they are out of pancake batter. It's best not to go with something very specific in mind. Also, it's usually PACKED with people, usually college crowd, so finding a place to sit takes time or adjustment. But it's convenient location makes it very useful on mad shopping days!
I'm loving it !!!!!!!!!!
Mcdonalds is a universally adored chain of restaurants, especially loved in India. This possibly owes to the fact that it is located even in the back of beyond, hence making it available to everyone, literally. Keeping this in mind they have come up with some great and useful discounted offers such has their "Happy Price Menu" which starts at a meager Rs. 20. This takes care of the availability and afford-ability factors. As far as taste is concerned, it is only fair to say that Mcdonalds is a pioneer in the department. That is the great thing about this restaurant- each franchise, depending on it's location, caters to the tastes of the people in that region through their menu card. Hence, while certain classics, such as the juicy "McChicken Burger", are available at every franchise in the world, certain others are still area specific, such as the "Beef Burger". The food quality cannot really be criticized, for the very fact that the umpteen number of successful years of running of this umbrella restaurant are testimony of its food quality and menu choice, which have been a hit with almost all its customers. However, now that times are changing and people are becoming more accommodating, I think it would be fair for this restaurant in India to expand its menu and introduce more variety so the overall experience isn't mundane for even the regulars. The ambiance at nearly all Mcdonalds is lively and enjoyable, the service quick and impressive and the food as fresh as can be. No doubt Mcdonalds definitely stands tall on my rating list.
the Best !
its one of the first McD outlest in bombay...remember it opening wen i was in school...really loved goin there always for the fries and the burgers...The sizes of the burgers have surely become much smaller...but its really delicious...I really miss the mutton burgers they used to have...dnt know y they stopped them...And most important..they accept sodexo.... :)))))
I still love it
Started off visiting this place as a child, celebrating birthdays and crying for happy meals, this place has gone far beyond how it was in its initial phase. The new decor is quite colorful but too cramped up and the drink counter that shifted to the first floor is not a very pleasant wait. The service is good and the burgers too are at par..
Since the time they have renovated this outlet, i have been hesitent to go. I find the seating arrangement to be overly cramped up, abstract and just not suitable for a fastfood joint like McD. Their food and service has always been consistently good but the only let down now is the ambience!
Situated opposite KFC (across the road) on Linking Road, it is another Mc Donald's with its standard menu and seating and decor, a nice place to chill out with friends or grab a quick burger while shopping on Linking Road . I have had Pizza Mc Puff, Mc Paneer Wrap, mc Veggie, Fries, Soft Serve and Potato wedges here, everything tasting the way it tastes at every other Mc. The staff is efficient and courteous and space is quite adequate here to sit for some time. Nice place in Bandra-considering many places in Bandra offer awesome food but at equally high prices, this place still gives a halfway decent burger and coke within 100 bucks per person bang in the middle of linking road!
All time favourite
Mc Donald's is my all time favourite fast food restaurant since school days. Being a bandra resident, I visit this place really often and I never get a chance to complain. I usually have a Mac Chicken burger or a Pizza Mc Puff and some fries. Love the milkshakes at Mc Donals and I wish they don't reduce the size of the burgers any more.
I love you Mc D! :D
Avoid if in Bandra
McDonald's normally lives up to its "standard" taste, texture and flavor - across outlets and cities. So it becomes the natural choice for a quick snack.
After drinks and starters at Bonobo across the street, we headed here for a bite before heading home.
Everything was bad - the fries, the wedges, the burger... Cold, aftertaste of stale oil and withering lettuce. I think it's a Linking Road effect, as KFC too suffers from the same woes.
If you're in Bandra, there are a million other options... so please strike this McDonalds off your list.
Would still give other McDonalds outlets 5 on 5 - like the ones at Fun Republic, Chembur Shopper's Stop and Vashi.
I am Loving It!!!
Good place to have a fast Tit-Bit but sometimes really gets hard finding a table in evenings. Tried its Chicken Maharaja Mac truly goes by its tagline "King of Good Tastes" yummy with Chicken Nuggets, French Fries and Coke....Faired well even this time wont mind going there again...also its not that heavy on pockets.
They're really lovin' it!!
The service is great (nothing's forced or implemented, the servers are really glad to see you!) and everyone's always smiling. One of the biggest McDonald's in Bombay that I've been to and I'm lovin' it too!
The food here, as always rocks and quality wise, they're excellent. Even their bathrooms are clean and that's a big deal for me. There are so many tables to sit at, whether outside or inside or in the kiddies section. I love going there with my friends!
Whatever I order, it goes with large fries...Mm-mmmm....so much so even if you dip a fry in a vanilla soft-serve, it tastes like waffles with cream! Honest!
I have been to this place this Sunday at 11.30am they were no crowed but service was very slow. We were standing for 10 minutes but we have to ask again that are order is ready or not still it took time. We went on top floor where we took place to seat, seating is good. We took Salad burger, Fries, Potato rolls and more.
So one morning i had a meeting in Khar which wrapped up at 11 am, after which i was hungry for some breakfast. I decided to quickly grab a bite at mcdonalds. To my surprise there was a prostitute there who was approaching people at 11:30 am.
When i complained the staff did'nt seem to care much.
I love mcdonalds but was really shocked that morning. Be careful.
why is that when foreign brands come on down their best parts get lost in translation? mcdonald's india is boring, pretentious and downright bleh! it's over-rated, honestly. the only thing that might give a bit of happiness is the mcchicken burger, which is good, the mceverything else is b-o-r-i-n-g. next please
well huge place, lots of space, crowded on afternoons sometimes. staff is very friendly in all macs outlets, thts somethg i really appreciate, but foods really bland, boring. ice creams the best thing on the menu. nothin much for vegetarians, cud be worth a visit if they refresh the menu.
