not so good not so bad
firstly the place is located in very remote area of the 247 park one needs a tracking device to reach the restaurant, starting with the ambiance its fantastic very privileged and comfortable, music was played silently as per crowd in the room that is very much bearable after finding the hidden gem. but later as you get to the purpose of being there you realize that you traveled for a waste, service was poor as compared to the interiors of the restaurant, the waiter knew or must be informed to do so god knows, he knew some varieties of the food... when we asked his recommendation for the best food in the house it seems he was suggesting the unsold items in the house as it did not taste well as he said that was the best food and highly recommended by other customers, food and liquor are over priced as compared to service, it was little disappointing, overall worth visiting once just for ambiance if you are a peace lover followed by don't eat your meal just a light snack with alcohol...
Good Food and Ambience
The food quality is good and tasty as well. The ambience is awesome. The service quality is slow. The pricing of the food items is quite reasonable. All in all i can say "MOKSH RESTOBAR" is a good a restaurant if they improve the service quite little more.
Good food good ambience
Had gone here couple of times. The Restaurant is quite spacious and you can even sit outside in the terrace in the evenings. Chicken and Prawn starters were tasty. More towards the expensive side though. Service is a bit on the slower side. Especially if you are in the vicinity, is a good place to have a drink after office as it is not crowded and you are always assured of a nice evening.
No Moksh from this Moksh!!!
I had a gift voucher for a dinner at Moksh. Planned my date in advance. I chose to go there on a weekday and called them for reservation.
The restobar is located in one of the corners of the 24*7 Park which barely has visitors (at least that night there were just about 8-10 people in the entire mall) Scary! I'd say minus one for the location which is not so ideal. But once you enter you wont have many complains.
The staff is more than cordial but seemed a slightly unaware of the items on the menu. When I told them of the gift voucher before the meal, they disappeared to speak to the manager and returned to say it was alright only when I reminded them of it. Not so impressed.
The interiors are something to talk about. Red is the color you'll find everywhere. Cozy enclosures and candle light set the mood aptly for a rainy eve. Buddha structures around give the place a quiet and calm feel. The music matches the ambiance to the 'T'.
The menu is mainly Indian and Chinese, with some Continental mains also. May be it was my bad luck that they didn't have any fish items that night. Had to make do with chicken and paneer dishes. We ordered for Crispy Veg in Hot Chilli Garlic sauce and Chicken Crispy in Spicy Basil sauce for starters. They were perhaps the best crispy veg and non-veg I have ever had yet. I could literally hear them crackle while chewing. For the main course we opted for Paneer Salli Jalfrezi which was just perfect. The quantity is quite filling for 2. The only disappointment was the Fresh Lime Soda which tasted like the concentrated bottled drinks we get in stores.
Although it was a gifted meal, I did check the rates and they were quite decent. I did have to pay extra since we crossed the voucher limit but it was mainly because of drinks. Food for 2 costed Rs 800 roughly. Great place if you are looking for a quiet dinner with a lot of conversations!
If you are struggling to figure out how to waste you money, time and most importantly, your mood, go nowhere else but Moksh. If you don't find Moksh by death-by-frustrating wait, the ever-retorting arrogant waiters, patronized by their supervisors, will ensure your Moksh. We know nothing is free, but the waiters will spare no effort to remind you of the same. Any order takes "5-10 minutes" but they don't tell you they follow clock from Jupiter.
The day we went, the A/C was not working and there are no windows or fans on the floor. Given the heat and suffocation inside, whether they served us food or we were being served as 'barbequed homo-erectus' to some celestial being, only Moksh can answer. What a befitting name for the restaurant!!
Had Suprisingly Awesome Treat by my Fiance .
-The starters preffred would be zaffrani chicken. it has a subtle and tender essence and the roasted kick just pleases one's tastebuds. the crispy from out side but tender form inside Karvari prawns add a punch of strong flavour the cheese dip along with it is like a cherry on the cake.the meat filled kakori kababs keep tingling their naughty taste and make one greedy for more. the messi roti was little down to our expectations. however the naan proved to be a compensation for the same. moksh has a lot to offer for alcohol lovers.mocktails are also worth a shot.good service along with a great ambience make it a delightful experience. Suggestion - Hospitality must be Improvised for a good reason - by RJ.
Excellent Service! Very Good Food!
Very good food! loved the non-vegetarian items here.
service is exceptionally prompt and hospitable.
had a bill of around 1250 for 3 people and we had a monstrous amount of food.
had ordered tom yum soup, kakori kebab starter, balti murgh, khade masale ka mutton, naans, firni and brownie...
the soup was just the right thickness with perfect taste, the kebab was very succulent and nicely made.. the mutton was very spicy and exceptionally tasty and just the way we like it.. naans and parathe were huge very soft..
brownie and firni was average..
just loved the service here. very very prompt. and at the end of it all, we were given a hot tulsi and basil beverage by the management which felt and tasted extremely good and delicate! :) :)
all in all a must visit place!
With TGIF written all over our faces, the 5 of us headed for dinner at Moksh. We were greeted by a calm, but great ambiance. We started with ordering the drinks while the couple of them knew what they needed ;)... teetotalers were recommended good when it came to choosing the mock-tails. Chicken Zafrani Tikka was on the starters list and it was just awesome!! The main course followed with Chicken Burnt Garlic Jade Rice which was great while the Chicken in Lemon grass which we ordered as an accompaniment was a bit disappointing.. The veggies ordered Dal khichdi.. which is must have here!! We also tried the Chicken Kabsa rice from the Arabic cuisine..but it was very blant and did not suit the taste of most of us... One thing common in all the chicken dishes was that the chicken pieces were juicy and cooked just right.. not too much..not too less..Will try some desserts the next time around..
Overall... Great service.. great food.. great ambiance but a tad expensive on the pocket..but luckily for us...they had 15% off for the Citibank cards.. so do check out for anything.
All n all TGIF well spent!
