Nawab Saheb, Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel Reviews

Good food, inattentive service and bad management

+ Good quality of appetizers and breads

- Servers not attentive to customer's requests and needs
- Management seats guests from the adjacent coffee shop buffet in the restaurant creating a chaotic ambiance
- Main course too oily

great hospitality

More than food, I would like to appreciate the hospitality of the staff of this restaurant.. I would like to thank the staff especially mr. Amit Mishra for the great hospitality offered by him..the food is ok..but the sheermal and shahi balai tukda that they offer there is mindblowing!

Excellent food!

IT was a memorable experience to visit Nawab Saab. We opted for their set menu which they have in vegetarian, non vegetarian and sea food variety. Each of the starters were unique and quality wise was as good as any a la carte option. There were number of varieties of appetisers which were brought to the table followed by main course and desserts laid in buffet. Food was very tasty and the ambience was very nice. Service was prompt and polite. Pricing was reasonable considering that the restaurant is a part of a Marriott hotel. We will go back again for special occasions.

Good food and Ambeince!!!

Me and my frnz had a dinner at this place.
Hotel is very good and well organised.
Car is recommended in order to reach this place.
Though food was good but little costly (about 500 - 750 per head)
We had to wait for 40 - 45 minutes for food to be served but quality of food squared -off the extra time spent.
In all a good place for family or business dinners.

Good place to visit..

Have been to this place couple of times.. so far pretty good.. loved the ambiance.. the food is pretty good too.. Kababs are treat for veggies like me.. the main course is pretty good too but the only thing is, they lack variety in the food.. both the times, they had couple of things in common or some of the vegetables which were not going so much with the theme of the restaurant (like potato bhaji)..

The desserts are pretty good.. always in good amount of variety...

Overall, this place is worth a visit..

Simply sad!

When in Powai we usually tend to go to Renaissance. going to NS - Big Mistake. Over endless rounds of Cutty Sark we ate the most insipid paneer tikka, pathetic Seekhs and equally poor Chicken Tikkas.

The dal was flat and the rotis limp. Although all of us have a sweet tooth, we did not dare order dessert. The knowledge of the servers was poor. The set menu looked not very well planned which we decided not to opt for. The best part was that the tables are well placed with a good distance between them.

I wouldn’t want to repeat this experience.

Nawabi Dinner

I went to this place for my first date and boy was it romantic! I may be biased because of this but Nawab Saheb is indeed a good place.

Nice ambiance, live music on some days and dehati style furniture make this one a classic! Food...um...not so great, but better than the midnight buffet at Lake View Cafe. Kebabs are good, especially for a vegetarian like myself, there's a vast kebab fair. Deserts are incredible...rabdi, jalebi, kulfi, etc.

Meal for two will cost you Rs.1400.

Powai Pow Wow

Very nicely done up place this one. Was in Powai for a dinner at this restaurant. It was a set meal and started off with Paneer(good) Hara Bhara Kababa (pointless) and Seekh Kabab (bloody dry) then we moved onto some veggies dum aloo (ok) dal makhani (not enough makhan) some egg plant which i didnt try. The Bread was missi roti (nice, crisp and to the point) the pulao was pretty good too.

Overall its a great restaurant to bring guests if you happen to be in Powai by some unfortunate incident.

Service is pretty good as well but the food needs more work.
