Non veg food....yummm

You can term this a truly fine dining experience. The moment you enter, you are treated as a valued customer by everybody. They won my vote in the first minute itself.

I was strongly recommended for the seafood here. I was lucky to accompany similar minded people. It was a visual treat to have the neatly decorated servings of pomfret, prawns and bombay duck being added to your plate. Take a bite and you taste every bit of the fresh fish in your mouth.

We moved to the poultry section for main course. There was no thinking again when we were offered chicken Manglorean alongwith Neer Dosa and kerala paratha. What a delight. Chicken Awadhi was excellent too and proved to be quite a meal.

While we were filled to the core, we simply could not miss the desserts. They hit the right note with Honey noodles with vanilla ice cream and caramel custard.

The entire meal was a mixture of delights with no specific cuisine and boy....we loved it. The main course is strongly recommended. Do go here with your family and you will have a everlasting memory.

sea food craving????

Reviews-
I recently tried pebbles @juhu residency hotel with a few friends of mine. We had been there for lunch. The ambience there is very pleasant and soothing. The service is upto the mark. The best part about pebbles is that it serves sea food and sea food fans would definitely love this place. We tried prawns and squid for the starters followed by malabari prawn biryani. We relished every bit of the biryani!! We even got a complimentary pint of beer since we made are lunch reservations through urban restro. All in all we had an amazing time.

meal to remember

I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone. I went there with a long-time friend (who appreciates sea food a lot) and he was raving about it. The service is exemplary - not obsequious, just courteous. Everything was delicious - soup, starters, main course (we were too stuffed for desserts!) Definitely a go-to place again. This is on my Top 5 restaurants list.

Must Visit!!!!!

Have been here a fantastic place however the waiters need to be more courteous, before taking any action , eg my wife was looking at the menu at the Ipad provided by the restaurant and she got a call since she was on the phone the waiter without even asking picked the Ipad and went away... this was really bad how you treat a customer.

Well about the food i rate its **** nice ambiance and nice place to be with family ... but way too expensive its as good as the amount spent at any 5* hotel..

TING !!

Simply Class Apart.
Bangs all the classic restaurants on their face.
Ambiance 10/10 ..
Staff 9/10
Food and drinks /9/10
Outlook 10/10

I would have fallen short of words hence thought let the numbers speak.
The ambiance is Speechless. staff is quick and well spoken. They know about their food and drinks well. Sittings are comfortable and good. Though a table for 2 seemed small.
Has a live bar. A plus point. Has lots to offer in drinks and mocktails. The bartender was active and kept himself busy even when the clients were not present.
They offer an Ipad for the desserts especially. Which displays all the desserts they got to offer. An emerging trend in restaurants which is coming soon.
The guests which you may normally find would be high heeled and suited up. So better go dressed well and lighten up the moment.
Highly priced but worth the services offered than the food. A fine classic place for humans with high denominations!

Had a birthday get together. Buffet lunch was great. The starters were exceptionally tasty. Main course was also fabulous. Deserts were also of great variety with reasonable price.

Awesome place to dine with Family and Friends

Slightly expensive, but the quality of food, hygiene and ambience makes it worth it. Being a vegetarian, I have tried most of the dishes available and have loved them all. Especially the paneer starters, they are mouth watering.

The only thing which needs to be improved is the time taken for the service.

Best food and ambience.......

Love the location, the ambiance and the service. It borders on fine dining, so obviously the prices are slightly on the expensive side. But the food is good, and I definitely like going there at least once whenever I visit mumbai

Poor in taste, and money, waste!

Went to this place on my birthday and one word: disappointed. This was after the hype that their advertisement had created, about their Sunday sea food buffet. And the lady to whom I confirmed the menu with sounded pretty supportive of the same. But no.

The order started with the crab soup, which, along with the crab meat, had shell shreds in it. The taste was a little like out-of-the-fridge stuff too. The rest of the spread was just about as average; rather poor, as it could get. Moreover, the crab was as dry as a log. Very very bad mixture of spices, which, in turn, spoils the whole fun. If you want to try their fish and go, "oh fish... yuck!" drop in.

Good Ambance, Good Service, Mediocre Food

They do have a nice restaurant, well lit and nice people to serve you. As I entered I waited for exactly 4 minutes to be seated in a partially crowded restaurant, they serve you bottle water as a standard practice, something I guess all restaurants of this category should adopt. Menus are digitally onto I pads, nice ! We ordered sweet corn chicken soup, good portion but then the chicken used in it was real funny tasting. something that comes out from a freezer or stale, I really couldn't make out., brought it to the attention of the wait staff but he said he'll have it checked and vanished !!!! no problem, we jumped on to main course and went with the recommendation of Manglorean Ghassi with appams. The appams were awesome but the ghassi was sweet. And as far as I know, ghassi isn't sweet in any part of the south or west coast in India. To sum it up, great place except for the screeching kids next to our table, attentive staff but the I wish I could say the same about the food.

Two days in a row - Yes its that good

Amazing place, good food, super fresh fish. I went there two days in a row with different set of people. Per head cost without drinks felt reasonable at 1,000/- We had four types of fish among 4 of us (two starts and two main course). The River and Sea Food festival was on when I went there and haven't been more satisfied by the entire dining experience at this cost in a long long time. Love it!! Will go again over the weekend

If you love seafood, this is a must-visit place

My kids and I love seafood, especially when it is cooked in Mangalorean style. And after a lot of false starts in many places which claim to serve Mangalorean fare, I've finally found one place which lives up to its claim.

Now we are such regulars here that we do not even look at the menu anymore to decide what to order.

Some of the dishes I highly recommend are the Surmai fry in Mangalorean style, prawn gassi with neer dosa, clams in sukka masala and bombil fry. The prawn gassi especially is the best I have had outside of Mangalore.

We have even tried some of the chicken fare and it's yummy. Which means that if you are in a group where some folks are not fond of seafood, they do have other options to choose from.

One thing that I really like about this place is that the fish that is served is always fresh. And in case we ask for some seafood dish and the fish is not procured in the morning, the steward mentions it and asks us to choose something else. Now that's called great service.

Another redeeming factor about this place is that it is very spacious so you can dine without having to overhear whatever is happening on your neighboring table; something which you have live with at Mahesh Lunch Home in Juhu.

I highly recommend this place.

Good food & excellent service

I went to pebbles on 7/1/2010, it was my first visit to the juhu residency boutique hotel, which has 3 good restaurant in the same building melting pot, pebbles & 49 grills, I went to pebbles as i wanted to have sea food, they have the largest variety in sea- food, i really missed out on their international seafood festival last year. The chef's at the hotel know their job very well. If you are at pebbles don't miss out on their ghee roast chicken, neer dosa and appam. The ghee roast was so yummy that i can still feel the taste in my tongue. Guys don't miss out visiting pebbles. Take my word you will not be disappointed
