Caramel Custard Yumm....
SO this restaurant is famous for its chicken specialties, I was craving for tandoori chicken so i took my girlfriend along to have dinner.
We ordered a full plate tandoori chicken
and two caramel custards
our bill was around Rs550
This place is full VFM and works decent for a hungry stomach
value for money
The only complaint I have is that for gravies they have a lot of oil. But other than that the food is great. One of the rare restaurants in khar-bandra area I know who serves chapati. Light on the stomach, the rice used in briyani is basmati rice. But I order food from Rajasthan and never ate from there. So I can't really talk about service or ambience. So I am giving a neutral rating of 3 for both since I can't keep it empty.
I live in bandra west, and it takes 30-45 mins for the food to reach. hope that helps.
ok ok types
Been to this place yesterday
the food was ok, the ambiance was not at all great. The service was fast as there were very few people in the hotel. We had ordered Chicken Hyderabadi which was not good in taste, the dessert on the other hand Firni was great and the Falooda was also only average
last place to go if eveythings shut
some years back this used to b a good place but lately the standard has gone down pretty badly...the gravys r really very oily...and i had to actually scrub my hands wit a whole bunch of tissues after washing my hands to remove the greased oil...They shud sincerely try to make the oil levels in all foods lesser...
Not for the diet conscious
Butter Chicken with extra tomato in the gravy is okay and enjoyed by the kids. The best is the beef kababs which when had hot is something to die for. The chicken tandoori is cooked perfectly with the right amount of spices. Not a place for those with weak stomachs or who cant handle the overdose of oil.
Not Rajasthani Cuisine!
This place has typical muglai food and that's what is awsome about it plus, the fact tht it's open till say about 1-1:30 am for those late night hunger pangs! And like the other guys have said the place is open till 5 in the morning
Ambience and service is not what you should expect here. Because they dont really care about what you expect.

A superb muslim place, serving fantastic food for years now. Sit in the AC comfort, start with the kababs, phudina chutney, onions. Clean your palate with a fresh lime soda & order kheema ghotala, chicken tikka/hyderabadi with their large rotis or pav. Go for an additional sin by asking him to fry the papads also.....BLISS.....Stagger out, stop for a paan, get into your car, go to sleep till you reach home. (This has been written after a nos of visits to this place over the last 20 years after taking on liquid at the willingdon/khar gym till 11.30)
Superb Muslim fare
Id's only a day away, so I hope this review will prove timely for those of you who salivate at the thought of awesome Muslim fare. I first tried out Rajasthan a few years ago on the enthusiastic recommendation of a friend, and its become a must-visit ever since. Its bang on SV Road, a stone's throw away from Irish Pub and Mahjong.
The food here is simply AWESOME! Try the beef sheekh kababs (Rs. 15 for two) which are melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Another one of our favourites is the Salli Boti. They have a special for each day of the week ranging from mutton khichda to dal gosht to aab gosht. They make a mean biryani too. The menu is varied with Chinese thrown in as well. Of course, you would be crazy to come in here and choose Chinese over what they do best - fantastic Indian food. I didn't notice the veg section...but thats probably coz there wasn't much of a choice anyway.
The place is almost always crowded (even more in the evenings during Ramzan) but the longest I've ever had to wait for a table is 10 mins. They have an AC section and a family section. The service is efficient and the staff is sensitive to guests with families and children. The prices are very, very reasonable. A meal for two in the AC section would cost you around Rs. 150 and lesser if you sit outside.
This place wins my vote for a no-frills, all-taste meal experience that will always live upto your expectation. Oh, did I mention that the desserts - caramel custard, falooda, hot jalebis, malpua with rabdi - are superb too? My suggestion - go there this Sunday and join in the Id celebrations!
Amazing sheekh Kebabs
This is one hang out that I frequent any time I am in Bandra for a meeting. The sheekh/shami kebabs and mutton biryani are to die for. They have renovated the non A/c section and its really looking great.
This is another place in the great city of Mumbai that really lets you eat like a King on a measly budget.
