Pathetic

Cheap Restaurant! just because we were wearing jeans and not short skirts , we are suburbians and not townies, we are good looking but not sexually attractive.... we were made to wait in queue a long time while the other couples were given tables before us. Such unequal treatment is not what is expected from any restaurant! Please let others show their bank account and for how much are they gonna eat so that you can decide whom to let in first , whom to let in last and whom to say that it will take an hour and more for you to get a table, when in reality i could get a table in half an hour even with other people getting in before us.

Favorite Dining

It is definitely one of my favourite places for dining. . It offers Indian, Italian, Chinese, Labanese, Thai, Mexican & Indonesian delicacies - ALL VEG. But I strongly recommend sizzlers & continental meal and Italian Fare. The Italian items are too tasty like the cheesy pasta , corn kebab sizzler, nachos with cheese, and my fav desert the sizzling brownie.

Love the food here

I'm a hardcore gujrati eating Jain food. What better place than relish to savoir my taste buds. One will find everything from nachos to tortillas, pizzas to pastas, and almost every famous variety of Italian, Mexican and continental cuisine and that too PURE VEG. The restaurant is full or at least 80% occupied on any weekDAY (be it lunch or dinner). And as far as weekENDS are concerned, u should be fortunate to get a table with an hours waiting.
Coming to the menu, the Jain platter is quite good for staters with 4 varieties including capsicum rings, cheese balls my best.
Don't stuff yourself so much that u cannot have a chocolate fondue in desserts. Its a must have over there. Chocolate fondue should ably be sufficient for 3 people as such.
The average 3 course lunch/dinner without alcoholic drinks and mocktails should cost around a thousand bucks for a couple. Also, the food is not cheap but not overpriced too keeping in mind a restaurant at prime location of churchgate.

Love for this place...Yumm

For all those who went to HR or KC college will feel nostalgic when they see these nachos con queso. Crispy nachos with cheese sauce, pico de gallo, jalapenos and those giant peppers. Maybe it was the nostalgia or something but I loved every bite of that cheesy goodness. Chilli pizza yes it was as spicy as the name says. Green chili, Jalapeno, red chilli on a thin crust pizza i loved it even though I could manage more than a slice followed by lots of water.

Fondue..!!

South Mumbai to start excellent fondue at reasonable prices. Even the nachos and sizzlers are very good. Relish Restaurant is one of the best veg restaurants serving international cuisine. Relish service is fast and the staff are very courteous. Also good value for money as their portions are big... Situated next to HR College & Samrat Restaurant, this place is great place for people who love mexican food and sizzlers....For starters- Nachos along with Cheese Fondue is superb and mouth watering....Enchiladas and sizzlers are great. For desert do not forget sizzling brownie with icecream and chocolate sauce....

Hands down best place in town!

I have come here at least 100 times during my past few college years, because they serve the best food which is simply awesome to taste and so much value for money! In college, we always come in a group of 5-6 people and we order 5 dishes and dip ourselves into cheesy heaven and never pay more than 500 per person! Amazing nachos, pizzas, sizzlers and do not forget the 6 shooter,oh my god, simply foodie heaven!

My most fav place!

EVERYTHING is great here. Order whatever you want from the menu and it will be fab. Do not go here if you are dieting because everything is high in calorie! Try fondue, nachos, six shooters, pizza, lasagne, cheese corn balls, sizzlers-anything and everything is must have and high on taste. It is very value for money because 1 lasagne, 1 sizzler and 1 fondue will suffice 4-5 people and it won’t come to more than 400 per person! I Love this place the most in Mumbai and come here every month atleast!

Great vegetarian food. The nachos and sichuan balls make for great starters. The quattro formaggio pasta was amazing and so was the pink pasta. The pizza was a little too spicy but i like it. The cheese and chocolate fondue here have been favourites for years. And the price you pay for it - just phenomenal.

Veg Delight!

This restaurant is a vegetarian heaven. Its all packed on weekends and waiting periods are like 20 mins minimum. The food is worth the wait here. Been here a couple of times and love it the same. The sichaun marbles are superb and spicy and oh so cheesy. The nachos are underneath oodles of yummy cheese. They have various different pastas and pizza. Their paprika rice is a must try for paprika lovers. :D
The brownie and icecream is damn good too. Their service is quick and helpful.

INTERNATIONAL VEG CUISINE

MUST HAVES!!!!

Rank 1: Cheese Fondue…. Comes with bread cubes and crackers, sided with Jalapenos, Garlic Pickle and Paprika. The Melted Cheese has pieces of chopped green chillies … So perfect that I couldn't stop smiling the whole time!!

Rank 2: Cheese Nachos with Corn and Capsicum … Sorry to say but better than Oven Fresh (Way to go Relish, Numero UNO!!)

Rank 3: Pasta Paprika…. O so heavenly. The taste is unmatched and the chef really knows his job, Kudos to him.. It is a beautiful marriage of Spicy Arrabiata Sauce & Creamy Alfredo Sauce. Infused with paprika, garlic chunks, some blanched spinach leaves and veggies, this one has got to be one of the most flavorful dish @ Relish.

Rank 4: Paneer Chilly Fingers… Tender Paneer in mildly spiced Mexican gravy. So good that it will vanish from your plates in a matter of few mins :D

Rank 5: Veggies in Thai Curry… The only reason this is at No. 5 is coz the others can’t be ranked lower. This is the best Thai curry that I have had thus far. The flavor of coconut is prominent yet does not overpower the other ingredients. Comes with steamed rice & a salad. Husband loved this the most!!

Avoid the Orange soda float and the Snow White soda float.. tastes like medicine.

Ambiance is nothing over the top but a table full of food is ambiance in itself :D

Service is okay-ish, but ALL IS FORGIVEN!!

The endless waiting hours to get a table, the round circular tables, the whiff of yummy sizzlers the minute you enter and the cheesy filled vegetarian Italian food, the gujju and college crowd filled up - all these signify Relish. Good food. will come here again and again

Well, i have been here a few times, i prefer Relish and my parents prefer Samrat next to it. So with friends, we have ha awesome time here. The Cheese fondue for two is a cheesy delight and should not be missed. The 6 shooters (drink) is quiet a picture perfect with friends to Cheers!
The sizzlers are average. Jain option is available and also to my surprise, Jain Veg Burger was available. Liked it a lot. The nachos is average. Overall a good food place in town which serves only Veg.

Relish, Churchgate

This place has great smoothies and SIZZLERS....

I would recommend everyone to try the SIZZLERS as that was what their USP was I felt.

Everything is one the higher side of your pocket and are not worth for what they are quoted.

But eventually, a good place to chill with a close friend or a group.

a veg delight

it is almost impossible to find place at this restaurant with waiting being as long as an hour or so on weekends but if you reach early and you get your seat then it is a pleasure.t hey have successfully been able to make the food suit the Indian palate so you might find some of the dishes a little spicy as compared to the bland versions in other restaurants but perhaps people go there because they want it that way. it is an over kill of cheese whether it is cheese fondue or cheese corn ball or their pizzas or pastas and they are all good. in mocktails their 6 shooter is a visual treat and you will see it all around you

Vegans Delight!

With super discounts on offer at all the multi brand outlets Sunday was a shopping day. Then came to question of where to have dinner. Hanging out with friends on deciding which is the place to go to for dinner theres atleast one friend suggesting Relish. The International Veg cuisine restaurant located right opposite KC college. This is a place which has strict hours of working. They don't offer tables to people post 10:45 and come to your table at 10:45 for the last order. But still at any time on a sunday you will hear them saying 'Waiting Hain'. Relish has the best fondue on offer. With its lavash and the warm pita fondue is a treat. They offers great cheese corn balls sautee with chinese gravy which is a delight to have. They have a mocktail 6 shooters which is so famous that you have to see them on atleast 60% tables. They are fairly priced and if you go there in groups they have excellent affordability.

25 Visits and counting!

For the past five years, I have visited this place at least five times a year and by now have tried every single Italian, Mexican dish and all mocktails on the menu! And I still find this to be one of the BEST restaurants in Mumbai. Doesn't matter whether one is veggie or not, just visit here and surrender to the cheesy happiness. This place is not meant for dieting junta but when you want to cheat on your diet, look no further!

In mocktails, go with fruity punch (it will be a little tangy) or take a smoothie-swiss truffle or oreo smoothie are the best. In the salad section, go with Italian Pasta or Aglio Olio. For starters, Nachos, assorted platter, corn kebab rolls, paneer chilli fingers or sichual marbles are winners. Cheese burger is good and enough for one person. Choose any sizzler and you won't regret it. Paneer platter is also tasty. Fettuccine Formaggio is delicious as is penne arrabiatta, fusili in paprika sauce is very good too. Veg Lasagne and Veg Paprika are enough for two people (moderate eaters). Veg Quesadillas, BBQ Quesadillas, Mexican lasagne would leave your tongue salivating, guaranteed! You can skip the pizzas if you like authentic pizzas, not that they are bad, they are good but you have to not remember the pizza express crust and be happy with Indian 'improvements'. For desserts, sizzling brownie, apple pie or chocolate fondue come out tops.

If you can have only one dish, make it the cheese fondue, On any given day no matter what time you go here, you can see at least one table having it.

As said earlier, this place is not for dieters. No matter what dish you order, it will be filled with cheese and most probably be red in color (funny, but true) and will transport you to heaven. Best place for family outing (if you have a cheese loving family), celebrations, birthdays, just about any occasion :) And full meal for four people stuffing them with cheese and happiness won't cost more than 1400 which includes two smoothies, one starter, two main course, one dessert (taxes included!)

Great veg food

Brightly lit, not candle light. easy to go in and sit.
The menu is extensive and packed with so many delicacies. The what to order problem rears its head up.The service is fine and quick, considering the amount of college students in there all the time. They need to be that quick.

The menu consists of Mexican, Italian, east Asian, Indian and even a Lebanese dish. I really like the Mexican tomato soup, which isn't that sweet so it tastes fine.Among the italian dishes, i do really like the veg lasagna. This place does serve very good items. If you want the spicy ones, go for the Arrabiata. It is dish with spicy tomato sauce which is nice.

Amazing Food and Awesome Service

One of the best places in terms of Jain cuisine, had been there with my frnds and family. Not only the food, this review is purely to highlight the servicing.

We had ordered a Peach Ice Tea, to my surprise, it was not upto the mark what I normally have been getting in my past visits. As a loyal patron, I simply informed the manager (Mr. Iyer) about the same and he immediately took it back, tasted, mentioned what was the issue and also got it replaced with a fresh one, no wonder it was back to the mark.

We do find places which offer good food, but to match food with service these days, thats difficult. Relish stands out and I would surely visit them again.

International Veggies delight

A great place to dine if you are a pure vegetarian. An array of dishes, both Indian as well International, will spoil you for choices.
The main attraction of the place are the 6 Shooters. A mild non-alcoholic version of Shots. The taste reminds you of the humble golawala outside Chowpatty, but with some style.
The Bruschetta, is one of the best available in town. The Nachos are properly glazed with Cheese and Beans(optional).
The Sizzlers are pretty neat, and so is the quantity. Pasta's are also a good option, but nothing out of extraordinary.
Finally, the Chocolate Fondue, is like the Pole Star in the constellation. Served with Chocolate Balls, Fruits and many more items.

Relish is one of those places where Vegetarians will find delight in dining and at the same time enjoy the taste of International Cuisine.

Cuisine concoction comes good

Sitting in Marine drive on a Saturday eve with thoughts of a good dinner would always bring memories back of Relish. It is just 1/2km from NCPA end with ample parking space (ofcourse BMC wala :p )The place is quire crowded on weekends with long waiting hours. Only way to beat the Q is to go for early dinner. But be ready for a lot of chitter chatter since many families visit here.
This resto serves literally all cuisines (American, Italian, Mexican, Oriental & Indian).
The ambiance is decent. Brightly lit with good round tables in the corner for a big group. I have heard they organize candle lights on Monday.
Food Review:
a. Potato skin with American corn & Cheese - 5/5 one of its kind. Must try
b. Potato skin with mexican beans & sauce - 3/5 avoid.
c. Insalate Aglio Olio - The king of salads with lettuce, zucchini, bell peppers, mushroom, cottage cheese, olives tossed in olive oil. 4/5. Only feedback is the mushrooms were very raw.
d. cheese garlic bread 4/5. a welcome change after continuously eating garlic breadtsicks of dominos for months. A good spread of cheese and a mild garlic flavour
e. Veggies in thai curry - 3/5. Average taste and too sweet. You get better thai curries in Mainland China
f. Tiramisu - 4/5 - My first. So an unbiased tongue. Found it extraordinary with moist brownie in layers of cheese cream and coffee flavour.
Serve Quality - 3/5. Fast service is a thumbs up. But I had to ask them to refill water every time - Thumbs down.

My most favourite Veg restaurant

I have been visiting Relish since the past 5 years and there hasn't been a time that I have left disappointed. Good ambience, wide range of dishes to choose from. Service has always been on the slower side, but I'm not complaining.
In the appetizers section, Schizuan Marbles are to die for! Also the relish platter is nice as you get to enjoy a bunch of appetizers like nachoes, hummus & pita bread, onion rings & corn cheese balls. Main course is always the Penne Arabiatta & Quatro Fromago. I dont usually have the Mexican Main course or desserts here as I never found them interesting or as yum as the other offerings.
Price-wise, Relish is on a very affordable side with appetizers costing about 120 and mains at around 150. The portions are also satisfactory.
Kudos to the only restaurant that doesn let me miss Chicken at all!

Choices for all

The Potato skins, Sichuan marbles and the Chocolate fondue are some interesting dishes I have enjoyed. The pasta and the pizza are good but I'd prefer having the same at a proper pizza/ pasta place. Sizzlers are nice, quite filling and not too expensive.

However, it gets really noisy post 7.30-8pm and even in the afternoons. They arrange for candle-light dinners on every Monday (which is good) but the sad part is that the fun of a candle-light meal gets drowned in the constant chattering and shouting of the people around.

Nevertheless, I continue to remain a loyalist here - the reason being the location ( very close to Churchgate station and hence suitable to everyone) and the food being multi cuisine (not much Indian food though), there are a lot of choices for all!

The Worst Experience of the year.

Relish is meant for people who don't eat at continental restaurants which has meat on the menu. Otherwise it is a total waste of your time and money. I am not saying that it is overly priced but that it is not worth the money. The service was horrible, the pasta was not 'al dente' and most of all when the waiter gets our order wrong it is not his fault but ours. Service is terrible and is the main reason why no one should ever step foot in that restaurant. If you don't mind a place where meat is on the menu but are vegetarian, I suggest you try Cae Mocambo's Pasta Formaggi which is heavenly. The cheese pasta out here was undercooked and still had a crunch of raw pasta. The food that was supposed to be hot was served cold and beverages which were supposed to be served chilled were warm. Overall A dining experience which I wish I could forget. And Special Mention to the manager who actually had the guts to tell me on my face that I was not welcome here next time and it was my fault that the waiter got the order wrong. It doesn't deserve a star but I gave it 1/2 a star for just being there for vegetarian continental food eaters. But I would try and find another place if I were you

Good Food,noisy Ambience,Service needs Improvement

Have been a loyal patron of relish for the last one year. Really enjoy the food and the beverages especially the seven flavoured drink. The food served here is really authentic and good.I would rate them 4/5 for their food authenticity and quality but their service is really slow and stone cold also the ambience gets noisy on the weekends.

Food:4/5
Service:2.5/5
Ambience:3/5
VFM:4/5

The Place & Food you will Relish for a long time

Relish has been my favorite eating outlet in Mumbai over the years. And I shall attribute this to multiple factors but above all the food that you get here is JUST AMAZING !! I went to this place for the first time around two years back for a friend's birthday treat and since then I have been a frequent visitor at this place. The food quality is beyond word, something one can only Relish !! Service is pretty much quick, ambiance is nice, crowd is decent too.....

All in all, the place is a perfect eating outlet. ..... you can't just visit it once .......it will pull you back anyhow... !!

Keep Relishing !!

A great experience each time

That is actually 4.5 stars.

The first time we went with a group of 11. It was around 12.30 pm. We were offered a table immediately, and extra chairs were arranged for. I like the ambiance there, but yes, it does tend to get a little noisy around lunch time. Between the 11 of us, we had 2 portions cheese nachos, 1 portion onion rings, 2 portions bruschettas, Canelloni al Formaggio, a thin crust pizza and a regular pizza (dont remember which one). Portion-quantity was good. Cheese nachos were absolutely delicious, and the quantity of cheese was very generous. Quite enough for all of us. Total bill? Around 1000-1100 Rs only!!

The second time, group of 6, tried the swiss chalet fondue. FANTASTIC!! Six flavours shooter (not excellent, but good), a smoothie called 'swiss truffle cake'. Very nice. Then went on to have the Thai Kari (Decent, but i've had better) and Nasi Goreng (Not that great, can be avoided) That is why the -0.5 star. Total bill, around 700 rupees.

The third time, had the fondue again. Tried the pasta Quattro Formaggio (Penne, white sauce), the swiss truffle cake, virgin pinacolada and 'four seasons pizza' (which was not so great this time, a little tough, and somehow was more like an 'udipi restaurant pizza' ). We did not have any problems with the service till now, it has always been good experience.

The place gets quite crowded around 1 pm (mostly college crowd), so if you want to make sure you get a table immediately, go around 12.30 or after 2.30.

Will i go there again? Definitely!!!

The next time, i might try the chocolate fondue, and something mexican too. I also saw a lot of people having some kind of strawberry drink ( i have no idea what it was). So i suppose it must be one of the favourites.

Also , a friend says that the sizzlers are good. So that's definitely up for tasting the next time i head to Relish.

World cuisine in Desi style

Good variety of world cuisine and probably a good place to start before you cultivate a taste for world cuisine! Unlike some world cuisines which are about flavors, Indian cuisine is about spices (my view strictly) and spices is what Relish focuses on apparently.

Great tasting food

I would put relish as the people's good food place. I have been there over 4 times and I haven't had a bad tasting dish there yet. Every dish there seems to have a certain sense of predictability in taste which I believe one will not dislike.

All food has enough butter, oil to make it great tasting. The colas/floats etc are quite nice. The service is quite good. Its resonably priced and the restaurant offers a variety of cusines, of which almost all taste good.

If you are looking for a safe place to eat out at with great variety... Relish is the place.

Overall I would rate it 7/10.

Good food..but needs to improve a l'l on service!

Had been there on saturday afternoon with some friends for lunch. The food is quite good here. I had a lasagne after a long time & i wasnt disappointed, it was superb!! While the others ordered noodles (perfect garlic noodles... there wasnt a bite wen i felt it ws over or under garliced... pretty good!), cheese n corn balls (they tasted damn good... i felt like ordering it a second time but stomach ws full!), 6 shooters (wow... we had gr8 fun at that...probably d best of d lot... ordered 2 rounds of it after d initial ice one was hard to gulp dwn at one shot), fondue (quite good nthng much to comment), some german potato (i didnt try that, bt ppl liked it!), some soups... i did order for a ferro rocher shake...damn good... perfectly blended! overall, i njyed d food part... nw cmng onto their service: not bad but not quite good either. They didn't know how to serve lasagne, messed up a l'l wid d fondue. But apart from that (we really didnt bother much abt it), gr8 food & highly recommended for veggies.
Pricing: we ended up paying Rs.1500/- for the bill.
I would love to visit this place again n try out their other dishes.
Location: Difficult to locate, its next to Samrat & 210.

RELISH EVERY BITE!

This place is simply heaven-sometimes ppl can refuse to believe that food can taste so good. It is one of my most favorite places in mumbai and trust me, anyone will fall in love with this place after just one visit.

Located near HR nd KC College, just beside 210 Degrees and Samrat (other 2 very popular places for baked stuff and Indian food respectively) this place is heaven if you wanna eat italian, sizzlers, fondue, pizzas.

Start with 6 sharp shooters if you are in a group or have children with you, or have icecream sodas,my personal fav drink is swiss toblerone shake, my sis always has ferrero rocher shake and my mom who is partial towards strawberry has Razzle Dazzle -all are divine and really huge-for a light eater, these shakes are kinda mini meals by themselves (they are also very very calorie laden!)

then go on to starters-have nachos-there is also baked nachos or american corn balls, or salad or have a platter of nachos + corn balls + tortilla chips-just about anything is very good.

Now turn on to pizzas-4 seasons pizzas is especially good; or if you want pasta-try my fav lasagne, or have noodles..or just hop onto the best item-the sizzlers.

While ordering sizzlers-u have some basic choices -cottage cheese shashlik or vegetables or cottage cheese steak which you specify and then you have to choose what you would want with these basic-i.e. you want rice or spaghetti, mashed potatoes or fried, which sauce u want..

my fav combination is cottage cheese shashlik or cottage cheese steak with mexican rice, mashed potatoes, sauteed peas in barbecue sauce-i never want it to end! The best part about sizzlers here is-its never burnt at the bottom-if u have had sizzlers at oder places (like-new yorker) u can always see a bed of cauliflower at de bottom of the sizzling plate wich is burnt (for some reason i hate de sight of dat burnt cauliflower)-here nothing is burnt, dis is how a sizzler should be!

The service is always impeccable, you can ask for their recommendations and its always spot on. the ambience is very cosy and tables are arranged in a way to give you a sense of privacy.food is always exceptional.

best part-monday night candlelight dinners-take ur special someone and have the awesome cheese fondue!

What an embaressment!!!!!!

The food rocked so did the price...
We reached relish at 10:45 and didnt know that this place freaking closes at 11:15....
we ordered food and enjoyed it....
But as the clock striked 11:15pm we were surrounded by the waiters...
All of them were looking upon us with their furious look...
We could see it in their eye saying us "you go fast or we are going to throw you"...
We were given signals to leave like "Sir may i get your bill"
Before we could leave we could see the staff meeting and ano one was there to take our bill we had to stop the meeting in between to ask someone to take the bill....
rest all is great......

Veggie Delight !!!

Even on a Saturday evening, we managed to get a table for two within 15 minutes (not all are that lucky). This place is a heaven for vegetarians, which is pretty evident by the presence of majority Gujju crowd. This restaurant offers a variety of cuisines including Mexican, Italian, etc. The service is great. The food doesnt take time. The quantity and the quality match the pricing. VFM for sure.

Relish every moment as u tuck into veg-gujju fare

Am surprised that a popular veg hang out such as Relish as garnered only one review so far.....extremely popular with the gujju crowd from day one along with Cream Center & New Yorker mainly because of its all veg menu & the varied choices it offers.
nachos, sizzlers, falafel, burmese Khau sey, sandwiches, pastas, pizzas.....some of these dishes are as good or bad as you will find at the other two restaurants mentioned namely Cream Center & New Yorker....since the crowd at these three restaurants happens to be the same.
Tough to find a place unless you go early. Food is always consistent & tasty....indianised or should i say gujjuised[no offense] but popular.
The pricing is value for money [even cheap]& the portions are very good....worth visiting repeatedly with family & kids....kids love to try out their six flavour Shooters.....and cheese & choc fondues.
One of my fav joints.
