Excellent service and food
Visited this place recently for the buffet...quite steep at approx 2300 per person plus taxes but then again they have some fine drinks included. The food is awesome..right from the sushis, lamb, fish and pork preparations , pizzaz, indian currys and even JAIN!!!.food in the oriental buffet..you name it and you have it . The highlight of the meal however is the superb spread of desserts. They were celebrating the american independence day that week so all the desserts were in the colors of the US flag..quite innovative...Overall very helpfull staff and very clean and spacious. Very expensive but do visit it once at least
Premium Luxury Signature Hotel
Excellent premium 5star hotel with a penchant for detail. Was very impressed when their valet parking attendants not only heeded my request to park my vehicle close by (since I was here only to recce the place for a friend) but also swiftly fixed a loose screw of my bumper when I returned to collect my vehicle. This close attention to detail and such care for a prospective customer (who didn't even buy) is rare and must be commended and emulated. They have made me a loyal customer and will definitely recommend them.
Oh and yes, its a spanking new property in the heart of the business district of Bandra Kurla Complex.
Excellent location, impressive glass facade, plush soft cushioned carpets, polite staff who actually Indianise the whole experience with a traditional folded hands Namaskar.
All staff attired in smart brown formals in line with their wooden earthy decor. A faint fragrance of lemon grass and soft wafting music adds to the overall ambience.
A very warm and inviting coffee shop that also serves buffet lunch and dinner on week days (around INR 1500/- plus taxes) and a lavish Sunday brunch (around INR 2500/- plus tax) with children below 12 complimentary - yes complimentary !
A lovely lazy pool on a higher floor secluded yet open.
A smart fresh typically French patisserie that makes their own bread right in front of your eyes and serves delightfully fresh pastries and croissants as well as strong brews in coffee.
Loved the place and plan to sample it one of these days in the future.
They are part of the Accor group of hotels with Sofitel being their premium luxury brand, Novotel Juhu being their 5 star chain and IBIS Santacruz airport (business hotels) bringing up the rear.
Definitely a must visit.
Had gone to the Pondicherry Cafe for an anniversary dinner with kids... After much contemplation we decided to check out this new hotel but boy! were we pleasantly surprised... What service... what food... what attention to detail and what an evening!! Really appreciated the prompt and super helpful staff... kudos... Each host and hostess had a smile and were ready to help at each step...
The buffet was stellar.... vast choice ranging from yummy Indian to thin crust Italian pizzas and personal pans served with the pasta of your choice, tasty sushi and even an array of Chinese offerings... The salad was scrumptious as was the crisp and fresh naan... The taste buds were super impressed! The desserts counter had plenty to offer too.. the kids enjoyed the chocolate fondue the most... delectable! :)
All in all... lovely to have such a place open up... the smile lit up our special day.. we hope to be back amidst the warmth soon... Thank u so much!
Was there the other day, and must say that a lot of money has gone into making this hotel. The rooms are well equipped with electronic gadgetry, comfy beds, but a bit too much garish for my taste. The bathroom may seem a bit tight, but they have these stand alone bath tubs, and the more interesting part, some of the bathrooms are all see through glass walls!! So, unless you are with your special one, some of the rooms can land you in a spot.
I heard that they have brought in one of the famous Qureshi brothers to be the Head Chef. Am looking forward to having some Awadhi food here. Try out their all day dining cafe - Pondichery at the lobby level. I found the Mughal based dishes to be exceptional. The sushi was so-so. The grills were pretty good, but not great. I think the dessert counter could have been more creative.
Service is great!! Very attentive.
I am waiting for their other restaurants to open up, and then go and have some original Quereshi Awadhi food. Yummy!!
