Surely the best boutique hotel in India
Being a huge fan of boutique hotels and having stayed at some wonderful small luxury hotels across the world, I never thought that I would come across a hotel in India that would stand out amongst the best in the globe. This cute little property in the heart of Bollywood charmed its way into my heart with no small thanks to its gourmet offerings and delightful staff. The food is simply outstanding and the rooms are beautiful with the kind of contemporary look yet oodles of warmth that is not an easy balance to achieve. Kudos to Svenska for getting it absolutely bang on right!
One of the best experiences so far in a Boutique Hotel for me has been the one at Svenska last evening.
The A la Carte menu was just perfect with the right mix of Dishes & varieties .
The service being prompt & they specially also managed to make a Customized Dish for us which was a delight in Service.
Staff was extremely courteous.
Thumbs Up to the Fish Fingers , the preparation & taste is the best , a must order.
On a special occasion in our family, after a lot of deliberation we finalized on Svenska. This turned out to be a great decision, as apart from a competitive package the Svenska team went all out to make it a memorable moment for us. The friendly service, wonderful ambiance, great food and special touches by the courteous staff added up to happy guests who left with a smile on their faces and patting their tummies. Svenska will always be my first choice for the next occasion that comes up.
Fantastic Hotel and Fabulous Buffet
I have always been a big fan of this beautiful boutique property, Svenska Design Hotel. Now they have taken their F&B several notches higher with the newly launched Global Buffet at Miro. Its a lavish spread, but more than that, most of the stuff is made freshly in their interactive kitchen. And the starters just keep coming and coming. Didn't have any space for the main course or the desserts by the time we were done with the fabulous food from the multiple live counters. The service is exceptional as always and the ambiance, especially during the dinners, is out of the world. Overall, lavish stuff at great value for money prices. Highly recommend!
Svenska - Ultimate Place
Svenska - Miro Rocks
Great Food with so much of variety that at the end you just want to go and tuck in your bed and guess what they also have 29 Rooms.
Service was topnotch you dont even have to lift a finger they are so attentive and just genuine staff that you feel like you are at home.
Wooden Over Pizza was so thin and crusty ,Dal Makhani was out of the world even better than Peshwari at IITC.
Ideal if you want to ruin ur evening
Miro Restaurant -
A Nice place, good ambience and the set up looks very awesome....
But that's it . Go in have a look around but DO NOT DARE to have food there.
Not sure whether they have any other options but tried the Dinner Buffet and it was the saddest thing I ever had.... especially at a ***** Rated restaurant... They boast of a GLOBAL FOOD n their Food does make u go round n round the Globe....
The Indian food is ideal for BP patients, not much oil n defni NO SALT...
Well to compensate they offer Chinese which offers Salty Noodles......
The only relief is their Thai n Italian cuisine where they offer a good mix of Pastas and Thai gravy which is indeed of Global Standards.
SO having survived the buffet I ventured into the Desserts Section... which has a great mix of Pastries n pudding, the only problem was it was fresh may be 2-3 days back or even more.... there were literally flies on the pudding ... so decided to have ice cream n wind up.....
So do ensure to visit the place.... Frankly Y should we be the only ones to suffer
The staff at the restaurant are not truthful about the rates of the packages on food and beverage and mislead guests. The food quality and taste is terrible and so is the behaviour of the staff. The ambiance is not suitable for family outing.. there are certainly lot better places available to go in the vicinity.. than this place
Not a comfortable place for a family sit down. More like a hangout place for youngsters who just need a corner to chill and nurse their drink.
very limited variety of food.
Inconsequential follow up to constant requests for fresh replenishments.
Its a me-too place that did not live up to expectations.
Decent hotel restaurant option
Came for dinner, as it was one of the few places in and around Lokhandwala without a big crowd on a Saturday night. We ordered from the Indian menu, which was limited, but seemed ok. The food was tasty, although the prawns we ordered as starters were spoiled. The waiter apologized and took them back, so no real harm done. The desserts and coffees at the end were also quite tasty, and very tastefully presented. The total food bill (for 4) was around 2,700 rupees.
The ambience is decent, although we had to ask the waiter to turn the music down, as it was blaring when we entered. The crowd was a strange mix of travelling businessmen and local mothers with small children. The waiters weren't too pushy and were helpful enough. The toilets were tastefully arranged, although already looking a little worse for ware. The hotel doesn't seem that well known yet, and the location is so so, but all in all not a bad option.
