I have posted a comment before, but it was filtered. This is a honest review...please do not filter.. I have tried many of the breads at Theobroma and they are all delicious. I even ordered brioche slider rolls and a whole wheat for a party we were having for my daughter's 30th birthday . Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. Our still favorite bread is the Sesame Honey Wheat!! Absolutely fantastic with pb & j.

I have tried some of their pastries.cookies, brownies, cupcakes...and they are just ok. What they started out as a Bread bakery is still their strong suit. Don't hesitate to stop in for their delicious breads!!

This is the place visited by all dessert lovers in Mumbai and for good reason even though it is quite expensive. It is a small place but has a definite foodie vibe and everything here is simply out of this world-take anything and it will be great. try out red velvet pastry,chocolate truffle Cake,Baked Cheesecake, burgers, cold coffee, brownies, cupcakes which come in all sorts of flavor. Most of the stuff gets over by early evening as it is so popular. Best place to go with friends and just attack all the desserts on display!

Came here for brownies and loved it to the core. This place also offers sandwiches and baked stuff. The interiors gives a posh feel with their wooden finish. The crowd adds its own charisma to the place. Come here for there pastries, cakes and brownies. Prices are decent and service is prompt. Like the name of it, stands out in the crowd.

My go to place for goodies to satiate the sweet tooth when in Colaba, Theo's is a delight and does not disappoint. I love their hot chocolate browinies and fudges. Their coffees are also good and a great way to unwind after a hectic day street shopping in Colaba. A nice place to go to if you have not been there.

The moment you will enter this little cafe and you' will fall in love with the aroma of freshly baked cookies and brownies.
Their brownies are Chocolatey, rich and extremely filling and the best i ever had. Right from Chocolate chip to Walnut yo Oreo to Red Velvet they have different brownies with unique flavours that will make you crave for more.Their Chip & Dip is great with a choice of barbeque / mayo /garlic cream cheese sauce .My personal favorites are their New York Style Baked Cheese Cake, Devil's Chocolate Mouse.Everything tasted brilliant.
The ambiance and sitting arrangement is decent.Good environment, friendly service and most importantly worth your money!

i went to Theobroma yesterday. its my fav place coz they have the best red velvette brownies which i totally adore. however this place and its staff are getting a little deceitful now. The red velvette brownie costs a steep Rs. 85/- for a slice. i normally take around 4. the staff tries to stuff four slices into a tiny box which does not really accomodate four pieces well, so what they do is they will put a slice that is almost half of what the original slice is supposed to be, inorder to stuff it into the box so the box can close well. so you end up paying Rs. 85/- for a corner slice that's half of what the slice is supposed to be. i feel very deceived and have been trying to call them since morning to tell them this. however its just impossible to get through to them. adding photos to substantiate my claim. my advice, insist on only three pieces to be put into the brownie box and make them take another one for the fourth piece. alternatively its best to just eat there.

Really famous bakery in Mumbai which I find really expensive but cannot argue with the quality of every single thing available here-especially the brownies, cakes, mousses and even the Hot Chocolate here is simply divine, so thick and luscious to have, so filling and dense, I can go back just to have it over and over. Cakes are very expensive so I have only had the brownies and tasted some pastries, soon will love to order a cake from here.

Heavenly and mind-blowing are some of the adjectives that its fans would often use when they describe the desserts at Theobroma.
The brownies, chocolates, fudge, various cakes and bakes are just too good. Cupcakes in any imaginable flavour. Theobroma is awesome when you think of anything sweet.
They also take orders for cakes for children birthdays etc.
They have opened quite a few branches. The bandra branch comes with an expanded menu. Dont miss the orange juice cake and brownies

But a bit too expensive. We have ordered a few cakes from here for our college events,they all are amazing, the star of the show..are the brownies! Overload brownie are the best! Foccacia bread is something I love a lot too. Breads, pastries and other desserts are all good,still expensive and I crave for the prices to reduce so that we can indulge more.

Had been here recently after a really really long time. Was an ardent visitor of Theo's during my college days. Sadly can't make it that often anymore. So was more than delighted to drop in. Picked up the walnut and choc brownie, chocolate overload brownie, millionaire brownie and a banana bread for home. The servers were very gracious and helped well with suggestions. Couldn't resist taking a bite off the brownie on my way home and I actually took a small bite of the Walnut one. That should give you an idea about the kind of brownies they dole out. Prices are a little on the higher scale, but the wallet doesn't really hurt when the money is being spent on such worthy delights. The banana bread however, begged for moistness. Was very mildly flavoured and dry. Cakebred in Andheri makes a far better one by all standards.

Ah, the iconic patisserie in Mumbai! It’s a must-visit for visitors and residents alike. It finds a stellar mention in TripAdvisor too. Such is its fame. Its cakes, brownies, chocolates, cronuts, cookies, macaroons, breads, danish, cupcakes and savories have entered the Hall of Fame in Mumbai’s desserts circuit. A tiny outlet in Cusrow Baug, Colaba, I have never found the place without its everyday share of regulars. Getting a table is almost like a dream-come-true!! No exaggerations here. Go there anytime, you may have to contend with a takeaway. I particularly like their fruit pastries. Their entire range of desserts and savories is every bit a MUST. So, when the dessert bug bites you and you are in South Mumbai, you know where to go.

Expect everything to taste good.

This place is known for their heavenly brownies and their infamous chip butty. Whether you opt for the humble Chocolate Chip Brownie, the decadent Millionaire Brownie (Chocolate Chip Brownie with a layer of caramel and dark chocolate) or the Chocolate Overload (described simply as a brownie with 'loads and loads of chocolate') - you're in for a treat.

If you're up for something savory, try the spicy Harissa Chicken Sandwich or the Chicken/Bacon Chip Butty (Chicken/Bacon and Fries sandwiched between buttered buns - served with a fluorescent garlic mayo. My favourite drink is the Chocolate Brownie Shake - a to-die-for combination of brownies and milk in one chunky blend. The obroma Colaba is definitely worth a visit.

After a day of shopping at the causeway, this is the perfect stop, for some really good sandwiches made with their in house breads, some coffee and a millionaire brownie to end a good day! For vegetarians, the brownies are good, they also have a good selection of mousse cakes for egg less cake eaters! Started off as a cute little parsi family bakery, this place sure will make you pack up some goodies to take home!

Awesome Brownies and macaroons., the savory stuff is also good,I especially love the chicken mayo roll and the sandwiches. My children love the focaccia too. The seating area is always crowded,but the quality of the food is super consistent.I love the cappuccino too. My father-in-law is crazy about the almond biscotti.

was here with a couple of friends after shopping at causeway...as we love desserts alot we planned to come here...the ambience of this place is very serene and amazing ...there are tables where one can sit and enjoy while they munch around some authentic delicacy...we had chocolate brownie , tiramisu and cheese cake ....all of them were simply amazing...in all its a great place to hang out after a tiring shopping journey

Theobroma is one of the best bakery shops I have tried in Mumbai. We get to try some delicious pastries, rolls here. They have croissants which are my personal favourite. Hot chocolate is a must try drink. The set up there is a very simple one which makes the place even more beautiful. A definite try !!

this place used to have my fav brownies. amazing brownies that were a craving with me. recently I visited this place twice in a week and was both times disapointed. once had the so called caramel cookie brownie. it had no brownie in it was just a chunck of chocolate cookie base and caramel. don't taste good enough. it was not even fresh I guessed cause it was hard as ever. the second time recently I went to pick up a gift hamper and was disappointed. the boys there couldn't help me with anything. I bought a pound cake, chocolate box, brownie box assorted and I asked them to wrap or ribbon it they refused saying not possible. was a big let down. and the man on the counter taking the money was rude and not at all helpful which I mentioned to him. besides they took long to put all of this into a bag bill and let me go. I tried the millionaire brownie which was my fav but that too was hard as stone. I dont know if I should go there again.

MY MOST FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! Where do I start? With the mouth watering, delectable, already running out of great adjectives brownies, or the sandwiches/ quiches/ pasties or the out of this world dessert options or the cozy cute ambiance. The revamped Theos only gets better and it is the finest example of classy, consistent, yummy and as rightly captioned food of the goods. What's not to love in this place ?

This is everyone’s paradise. Almost impossible to choose what to eat here. The brownies the cheesecakes or the pastries. When you've had enough of their most infamous blueberry cheesecake, try the New York style baked one and the white chocolate oreo, almost divine! If you are not much of a dessert lover and still go to Theo’s for some reason, try the chip batti, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Quaint little cafe situated on the main road in Colaba, makes Theobroma an ideal place to grab a quick bite and have that perfect hot Cappuccino you have been longing for!! Service wise- This place has courteous staff. It was a busy Sunday afternoon and the staff tried their best to get me a place. Food- Their Chicken Butty Sandwich is a must try!! Loaded with fries and mayo and succulent pieces of grilled chicken, this dish is a meal by itself!! Also tried their cookie milkshake, It was thick but a tad too sweet. Macaroons are also okayish. U can give them a skip. Overall a good place !!

Theo’s is where the brownie god lives. Period . As a lover of everything chocolate, I’m convinced that some high-power divine chocolate-making person is employed in Kainaz’s kitchen! You get the drift…Apart from the drool-worthy desserts, the chicken sandwich is just delicious. Combined with the brownie (hah!) shake, I don’t think there’s anything to complain about after that.

As their caption says the food and the brownies(All other Desserts) are just out of the world.But at Colaba they need to improve on their place a bit.The place is always overcrowded every time I go.I just love their brownies and their specialty signature breakfast's and meals.

I have never before eaten a chocolate dessert like the one they have here named, "Chocolate Silk".

Its been awhile since I've had the chance to go there, I used to be that side of town a lot more often, I guess I had more time to travel and experience the city, friends studying in townside, so there was a lot of motivation to go there.

I was turned to Theobroma by a few of my most trustworthy palate advisors. It took me a while to find it, not expecting it to be so far down Colaba Causeway, once I found it though, it has become a landmark for me.

The first thing I ever tried here was the "Chocolate Silk", being an ardent chocoholic for many a year now, it surprised me how much I enjoyed it. Its not that its the BEST chocolate dessert you may EVER have. I hate building something up for someone (especially when it comes to food) only to have that gleam of disappointment in their eye when they take that first bite.

So with a pinch of reservation, I would suggest that anyone who happens to be near Colaba, and has a few minutes to kill, to please head over to that tiny little Cafe named Theobroma, and just try a couple of things they have on offer. If you like chocolate, then take my assurance you wont be disappointed with the "Chocolate Silk", I'm not gonna tell you that it'll change your life, nor am I saying that its worth travelling from Virar to try, but this little eatery has the distinction of being one of those places you wished opened up branches nearer to the suburbs...

what can i say, i love my desserts. and Theobroma is right up there on my list of favourite joints. their oreo cheesecake is fabulous and the white chocolate brown fudge tart is whoa mama! took some home as well, and i know I'll be back soon. if you don't go here, you're a bloody fool because everything is amazing. you just can't go wrong....it's like my foodie dream come true!

This is the type of bakery that all should emulate. Comfortable, family run atmosphere, gentle, kind service with a smile, and above all, amazing desserts and pastries. Try the chocolate silk for dark chocolate lovers and carrot cake. Those looking for the savoury instead of the sweet, try their speciality omelettes and sandwiches. Haven't tried them, but they look delicious. Any time in Colaba, it's Theobroma all the way.
