Torrp It Up Reviews

Average

A complete rip off of Subways concept, this place is doing pretty well. The torrps are good but their bread is awful, the service is good (as there barely have 2-4 customers at a time) the prices are unbeatable.
All in all a low priced, average meal is what you should look forward to.

Simply wow !

I went to Torrp-It-Up after hearing my friends rave about this place, and i must say they were right when they described this place as "awesome". The thing i liked most about this place is that they had an equal choice of offerings for vegetarians as non-vegetarians. Being a vegetarian, i often see that most places have way more variety to offer to non-vegetarians, but this place had great flavours and the same amount of variety for vegetarians as well. I tried the mexican corn and it was full of flavours and indeed very mexican-y in its taste. Service was really good and the place was super clean as well. 10/10 from me for Torrp-it-Up !!

Good option for health freaks!

Worth lots of new chains springing up like Faaso's, On the roll, Open affair and some of them not so great, one is always skeptic to walk into a new place. However, found Torrp it up, a very good new option for the health freaks. They have recently moved their Khar Bandra outlet by about 500 yards to a lane next to Mini Punjab restaurant.

The place is well lit, hygienic, good chic ambience and your are greeted by a good set of staff. The service is good and the food is hygienically served. I ordered an Egg Wrap, it was quite well made. Enjoyed eating it.

Will try it again.

I love their service!

I love their service. They have all that they show, unlike Subway wherein they either have this and not that. But here they have everything in order. The service is very professional and up to the mark that you expect. Try it!

Brilliant!

The best thing about Torrp It Up is their sauces. Very yummy and they are really generous with the quantity too.
Even though I'm a hard core non-vegetarian, I loved their veg Torrp's. Fresh veggies are the best!
Try their cookies too, even though they aren't really awesome, it's decent.
Totally worth your money.

Better than Subway

Not as hyped as Subway but definitely better than subway. The breads of Torrp it up are better in quality than the subway breads. also the addition of olive oil (for me) elevates the taste of the entire torrp. The place is not over priced according to me. I have and will be revisiting this place. Need more outlets!

Healthy Sandwiches

I think that Indian food is the best in the world and nothing can ever compare with it, every kind of Indian food, doesn’t matter if it is vegetarian or non- vegetarian. Torrp it up has these sandwiches which they call Torrps and their open faced sandwiches are called Tartines which just improve the quality of Indian food making it a completely a delicious experience.

Getting better every time!

I was always a big fan of torrp it up and my love and respect increased for them even more when I saw Subway copying their invention called tartine! It is really an awesome thing that that a global brand like Subway copies concepts from an Indian brand. Torrp it up has set a benchmark for all the Indian fast food providers. No other fast food joint I know delivers the quality stuff like torrp it up offers. Good job torrp!

Yummy food @ Torrp-it-up !!!!

Hey folks. As a fast food junkie, I would recommend you all to try out torrps, which are available at this place called torrp it up at Bandra. I think the torrps are a better and improved version of subs and comparatively much healthier also. I visited this place last week and I was quite impressed by the variety of fillings I found there. The one, which amazed me a lot was the salmon and cream cheese torrp; it’s a definite treat for all the salmon lovers out there. I’m definitely going back there to try out some new torrps.

Excellent Stuff

Pro:

1. good music , played the latest english songs .people seemed to be grooving to em

2.Torps were really good. We ordered for the grilled torrps. Better than subway . Because at subway even when toasted while eating everything seems to fall out and becomes a mess on the other hand this was grilled and it was packed well . Seemed to be nice and crunchy with every bite

Cons
1. slightly overpriced . i mean come on guys if you want to give some competition to subway atleast lower the price a bit .
2.Bread was not available. Only multigrain and brown .

Thank you fo the great review..I am sorry about the breads running out..we will make sure that thhis dosent occur again..

Complete Disappointment

I went to Torrp it Up on a Sunday night & guess what their Torrps were not available ! So we ordered the Burrito,Mediterranean Wrap & Veg Cheese & cream wrap..they were OK,nothing great.

Then we wanted to order garlic bread & guess what "bread is over"..ok..can I get Nachos with salsa..."sorry no nachos available either" !!! more than 50% of their menu was not available on Sunday night which is just unprofessional.

Complete waste of time, would not recommend it to anybody at all !

Decent place for the menu it serves

A nice place to be for a light and filling meal. Try the vegetable cheese and cream torrp true value for money. Can be competition to Subway only if the place can keep the flies away. Hygiene must be improved on priority

Would Recommend

I had been to this place when they had just opened this new outlet.
They really have some very nice sandwiches.
The service was prompt although the person at the cash counter was finding a but difficult to communicate with the customers but i think so the nervousness is justified.

Super "sub"stitute to subway!

We went there on a sunday evening and were so pleased to see what they had to offer! For allve us who opt for sub's or rolls from Pals ...this place is a musttt try! All torrps are available as wraps as well. We ended up trying the Paneer makhani torrp and Thai chicken wrap...both super.

Totally worth it!

OK after reading that it’s a copy of Subway but better, I thought why not check it out myself! It wasn’t a planned lunch and luckily my friend didn’t mind going there ‘cause we already chilled at Candies for a while and wanted to try a new place!

Food- If you check their menu, they have mainly Subs...Oops! I mean Torrps! So basically, just like your regular sub, this place 2-3 kinds of bread to choose from, toppings, salads, sauces and whatever goes into making a Torrp! Your Torrp can be accompanied by a drink and dessert at a great combo price! They also have wraps and soups. I understand that Torrps actually mean Torpedo sandwiches and they truly are! They are huge in size and very very filling! I had a Paneer Tikka Makhani Torrp with cheese which was pretty good and better than Subway’s and my friend had a Smoked chicken Wrap which he says was better than Mc Donald’s. So food-wise, this place is great! The only problem was that the bread was too soft and was in pieces even before I took my first bite which in turn made it very messy. The people there should probably wrap it tightly and if they don’t while they’re making it for you, do ask them to. The good thing is that they have a “Torrp of the day” for veggies and non-veggies everyday and that too only for Rs. 70, so if your office is close by or if you love the Torrps too much, you wont get bored of having them!

Ambience- Located at Khar West near Yellow Tree Café and Mini Punjab, Torrp it Up is not hard to notice! The place is clean and well maintained and looks just like Subway!

Service- The service is good. After I went to them to show my messy Torrp, they offered to make it again for me but I didn’t want to waste it so I ate it up anyway. The people working there are efficient and will make you Torrp according to your choice of toppings. If you’re confused, they’ll suggest what’s good there and you can take your pick.

Prices- I think it is a ‘Value for money’ kind of place. One Torrp is very filling and is priced reasonably. Having a combo meal can be your perfect lunch or dinner, complete with dessert and a soft drink. The Paneer Tikka Makhani Torrp with cheese, Thums Up and Choco Mousse was Rs. 160. The Smoked Chicken Wrap was Rs. 100. So yeah, the prices are perfect.

Verdict- I really liked Torrp it Up and that too more than Subway. Healthy food and value for money. I’ll definitely go there again!

Way better than subway!

I went here a week or so back was delighted. Subway alternates between a veg sub and a non veg sub every 2 days but Torrp It up has a 1 veg sub and 1 non veg sub for everyday which is good! The subs have more filling than subway. They got nice combos. I added 40 to my sub and got a beverage and a cookie.. the cookie is bigger than your first! Only downside the beverage was room temperature! Can easily overtake Subway!

Me likes!

I was quite hesitant to try this one out as everyone said it was a copy of Subway. But as long as they copy it well, who cares! So Torrp it up is a hidden find, located between Annapurna and The Yellow Tree Cafe. No great ambience but if you're craving for a VFM filling meal, you're at the right place. Just like Subway, they have a Torrp of the day, but what's great is that they have a veg and a non veg option per day. The torrp of the day is priced at Rs 70 and you can add Rs 50 and make it a meal which includes a brownie/a mousse and a beverage. I opted for the Smoked Chicken Torrp with the herb garlic bread. You can choose your sauces and veggies. Make sure you add the Garlic Mayo to your Torrp, it was delicious!!

Overall, Torrp it up is no fancy outlet but ideal for a yummy and filling meal with excellent options! Loved it!
