I don't usually like to go to fine dining places nor to bars, This is one place that kind of mixes the two but I still liked being here. Was here with some friends and we liked whatever we ordered. Staff was nice, not intruding at all, Ambiance is classy and cool. Price is great. We had schezwan noodles, hakka noodles, veg manchurian gravy, american chopsuey, veg balls 65 and it was all delicious.
This place is kind of classy. A fine dining restaurant frequented by not the finest demographic. There is a full fledged bar- they have a fantastic wine and cocktail list as well as single malts. Draft beer is also available as is Hoegaarden & Corona.
The food is excellent as well, mostly Indian/Punjabi. Try the cheese & onion soup and also the tomato soup.
Service is nice and courteous. There are 6 (yes six) cameras in the place all hooked up to a very Scarface-like LCD at the bar. There is also a mini-temple in the bar. Overall it's an enjoyable experience, to listen to the crude and profane talk of drunk Gujaratis and the contrasting soft Hindi instrumental music that's played in the background. It's pretty de-luxe. Go for the cocktails and food- fish steak in black pepper sauce is highly recommended.
One very strange oddity though is that they don't have knives (you have to ask for it). I've mentioned this several times but they still haven't made it de rigueur.
