Woodside offers a wide variety in its liquid menu. You can choose from a huge array of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. The place will have it all.
Days: Monday to Sunday
Time: 4pm - 8pm
The potato skins are flat potato skin chips (so delicious) and the parmesan zucchini are thin sliced zucchini that has been lightly battered and fried, and parmesan all over. The decor resembles a tavern with wooden fixtures everywhere!!! Really puts you in the mood for a drink, the wait staff & the bartenders are very friendly & helpful. There's a decent selection of drinks and the food isn't bad either. I took a break from spice and had the fish and chips, which I really enjoyed, especially the Woodside version of mushy peas.
Woodside inn is one of the decent places to visit in Colaba. A little less range of vegetarian items on the menu but the food quality makes up for what it lacks in terms of variety. I would strongly suggest for Italian especially pizzas. All and all this is a must visit when u are in Colaba. Colaba branch is the best amongst other branches in Mumbai.
The place has some good limited range of pizzas, nice drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), service is good. The food tastes great... this place is frequented my many foreign nationals and has a good range of international cuisine.a typical British pub. There's a decent selection of drinks and the food isn't bad either.
Good burger...nice ambience
I'd heard that Woodside Inn has one of the best (beef) burgers in town and I'm trying to find the best one in town. With that in mind, Woodside was on my list to visit for quite some time but I hardly end up going to SoBo. One Sunday, a good buddy asked me if I wanted to visit Jehangir Art Gallery with him and get some good food while we were at it. Woodside burgers came to mind and I jumped in.
Got there post noon and went to the first floor. The place has a nice vibe to it, what with framed pictures of Mumbai landmark architecture. It was reasonably empty (surprisingly) and we got a table asap.
We kind of knew what we wanted and asked for the fried calamari to start off. I asked for my beef tenderloin burger medium (done) and my friend got a pork burger.
The fried calamari was pretty good though a tad bit chewy. I like the calamari crispier. The spicy dip hit off well with the calamari.
My friend's pork burger came with a fried egg, and cole slaw and potato wedges on the slide and homemade mustard. He said he quite liked the burger.
My burger was a bit of a disappointment. I had asked for the burger medium though it came in well-done. I had half a mind to return it and ask for it to be done again, but a hungry belly outweighed the half-mind. 'Well done' took away the juciness of a medium rare-medium burger. Gotta talk about the homemade mustard. It's good. It has a nice bite to it that store bought mustard seems to lack. Side included cole slaw and truffle tossed fries. I don't know ANY place in Mumbai that serves up truffle tossed fries as a side to a burger, and that allowed me to overlook the fact that they were neither best fries nor the best truffle tossed fries I've ever had, but it's a rarity in Mumbai for sure, and is appreciated.
The burger was better than the one at Cafe Zoe. Still need to try the one at Indigo...
All in all, a good meal, and a satisfying burger, but not ohh-ahh-wow inducing. Will I be back? Maybe. I have my eyes on the Grilled Rawas.
Total damages for 2 with a starter, 2 burgers, a beer and an ordinary dessert -- ~Rs. 1750. Not too shabby
Yum yum !!!!!
Lovely place! Both the Andheri and Colaba outlets are my absolute favourite, just the feeling you get when you enter it is something else! I will just get onto what one must have at this place, and probably visit frequently as the list is REALLY long!
- Crumb fried stuffed mushrooms
- fish fingers with tartar sauce
- grilled balsamic vegetables
- Blueberry AND nuttella pancakes
- Spanish omlette
- Double cheddar beef burger
- wild mushroom and asparagus risotto
- bangers and mash
beer battered onion rings
Woodside in is one of my favorite places to visit in Colaba.
It is a little small but the food makes up for what it lacks in terms of space. I would strongly suggest the beer battered onion rings or the baked goat cheese bruschetta
All and all this is a must visit when u are in Colaba
A must, if you are a beer fan
If you're a beer person, then Woodside Inn is a must simply because of the sheer variety of beers that they've got. What makes the experience memorable is that the staff is extremely knowledgeable and you can therefore make an informed choice.
The onion rings here are delicious and you really wouldn't want anything else with your beer to nibble on. I've tried the Rissotto here and its wonderful. The burgers, during the Beer & Burger Fest, were great too.
High on price, low on taste
Ive heard a lot of praises for Woodside Inn, for their food, drinks and the ambience by word of mouth as well as reviews online. Therefore, I couldnt afford to delay my maiden visit to the place. And what better time to do it, than their famed Beer & Burger Festival, which is literally the talk of the town. So, I went there along with three friends a couple of weeks back.
The place has wooden interiors and is dimly lit giving it an English pub feel. As I went upstairs, I couldnt miss noticing the numerous black and white photographs of Bombay taken decades ago. Also, there are photographs of the architecture of old buildings and their arches. I stepped in at 7 pm sharp on a Sunday evening and was surprised to not see anyone at the bar below. The dining area upstairs was half empty as well, that too, during the Beer & Burger festival.
I joined my friends on a four-seater table and began soaking in the ambience. Unfortunately, the dim lighting had me struggling to read the menu (the text on the menu has a tiny font size; I wished the font was in bold at least, if not larger). Two of my friends who came in much earlier had already ordered from their Beer & Burger Festival menu. The menu was categorised country-wise, with burger and accompanying beer, which was very user-friendly not leaving customers confused as to what beer to order with their meal. As for the burger, there were two options for the burger buns to choose from Sesame Brioche and Multigrain.
One of my friends went for the Irish fare which had Irish Bacon Bomb with Stout Sauce burger (Rs 495) with Sesame Brioche bun, and Murphys Irish Stout (Rs 585) for the drink. He liked the accompanying beer but was not fond of the burger. The menu which mentioned Bacon Bomb seemed diffused. He wasnt entirely happy as he felt that the over-the-past three years, there has been a decline in the food taste-wise and it didnt justify the prices.
Another friend took a fancy to the German fare which had Wiener Schnitzel with Sauerkraut burger (Rs 445) and Erdinger Wheat Beer (Rs 395). Thankfully, she seemed content with her meal with the beer being the favourite of the two.
I asked for the Japanese Tempura Fish Burger with Miso (Rs 445) with Mutltigrain bread. I was sorely disappointed with the size of the burger as it should have been bigger considering its price. The Fish Tempura had Basa in a batter that wasnt fried to a crisp, not doing the tempura justice. Besides the fish, there was the usual burger accompaniments sliced tomato, onion and lettuce, which again left me disappointed as I was expecting Gari i.e. slices of pickled ginger to make an appearance. Taste-wise, it felt like an amateur humble fish burger made at home. Even the McDonalds Fillet-O-Fish burger with cheese and tartar sauce tastes delicious in comparison. As for the sides, there was a tiny bowl of coleslaw with wasabi mayo which was average and had mustard for dipping sauce. Instead of fries, I was served fried peeled slices of potatoes seasoned with herbs. They were crisp and a superior alternative to plain fries. This was the only saving grace of my meal.
I didnt want to have beer or any other alcohol so asked for a Hot Chocolate with Mini Marshmallows but unfortunately, it was out of stock. So I ordered the Ginger Lemonade (Rs 95). It was just about okay, not delicious. But I was glad that the ginger element was so strong that it hit the throat badly, unlike the same drink from some places do.
Lastly, my friend whos a vegetarian opted for the Margarita with Roasted Garlic & Olive Oil soaked Aragulla pizza (Rs 295). The pizza only looked nice. None of us liked the pizza as it was devoid of any taste. The super bland tomato concasse, the absent roasted garlic flavour and the scanty scattering of cheese contributed to the pizzas failure. The aragulla hardly helped.
When the bill arrived, each of us ended up spending much more due to service charge and government tax. I paid a total of Rs 665 just for a burger and a non-alcoholic drink, and felt it was a bad deal. Had the food and beverage been scrumptious, it would be totally worth my money. Nonetheless, I hope to go there again to see what the hype surrounding Woodside Inn is all about, hoping to indulge my tastebuds.
belgian beers and burgers
a supreme place in colaba with probably and undoubtedly having the largest range of belgian beers...the music and the ambiance is just the best...small place with an upper level. the beer and burger fest is a must visit...super friendly staff...quick service is the icing on the cake...pricing is a bit on the higher side being an premium pub in town but its totally worth it...go for it...way to go....
Love this hangout place
One place at colaba where i love going with or without anyone. People here are so friendly. The staff is really friendly and the service is really quick!
Its a small place but worth the food they serve. The pastas here are delicious. They have a burger and beer festival going on which is a brilliant idea and secondly they have amazing burgers to give out.
Not very expensive but yes a little heavy on your pocket. Parking is a pain this area but this shouldnt be a reason to not go visit this place. Its a must visit for youth and they have a different section according to your age. people above 21 can sit upstairs where they serve alcohol and the others have to be down.
A must visit
Decent Small Place!
Located at a prime area, it comes across as a decently small place with an evening like setting. A general dark ambiance and crowded with office goers, this place comes as casual place for drinking and starters. I too visited with colleagues for usual evening outing and was not any amazed to be here! Its a very Okayish place compared to the price they charge. Nothing to be WOW about!
Beer & Burger Festival rocks
Every year I visit the colaba branch of Woodside Inn for its beer and burger festival. This year the festival was bigger and better. More burgers were added..even though it was to the Indian part. however we stuck to the European burgers. Tried the Spanish Chorizo burger, Portugal peri peri chicken and UK beef combination. What I didn't like.. The peri peri chicken. If you want spice, this burger just doesn't live up to the peri peri brand. The chorizo burger was delicious and spicy. But the burger that did it for me was the UK beef burger. The meat was cooked just right and was juicy and succulent. The beers I will not comment on since im not an expert and mostly since I don't like beers too much. TIP: try the potato skins instead of the regular French fries. What I missed. The little customised coasters that coordinate the cheers with the country whose burger you have ordered. I will definitely go back the next year!!
Beer n Burger Festival 2013: Go for it!
Woodside Inn has been one of my favourite eatery in South Mumbai for the longest time. I initially started visiting them for their pizza and beer, but followed them through for a variety of food, and yes, now for their Beer & Burgers festival.
One fine Saturday recently, I trekked all the way to Colaba to visit them for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty, and no hassles to get space for lunch at 5 pm. The staff was cordial as always, and eager to help. We were presented with the regular menu, the drinks menu and a special menu for the Beer & Burger festival. There were burger & beer options from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Japan, Belgium, India, Netherlands and more. Each country had a local beer or two listed, and then burgers which are prominently made with ingredients from those countries.
We ordered the Portugese Chicken Piri Piri burger and a Spanish Chorizo & manchego burger, along with a Pineapple ginger fizz, a home made ginger ale, and followed it up with Blueberry baked cheesecake. The burgers came with coleslaw and a side of fries or potato skins so we took one of each. Choice of buns, and we went with sesame buns.
The Portugese Chicken Piri Piri burger was bang on the spot on taste, however a little drippy on the sauce, so my shirt ate with me as well. Piri Piri: think those peri peri fries that McDonalds sells: sweet and tangy taste. The burger did not have a patty, but cooked meat inside it. 8/10 for the burger, 2 points off for my shirt eating the red sauce too.
The Spanish burger was a little crumby (the patty inside), however that is understandable with a pork Chorizo concept. The meat was still moist and the burger was great. 8/10 again for this one. I think I'm taking away the 2 because the other burger had a tangy flavor and I sort of expected the tanginess to carry over.
The drinks, I could not fully appreciate them. For me, ginger ale got to taste like Canada Dry and that was the flavor I expected, however, this was neither close in the looks or the fizz or the taste department. Pardon my ignorance if I'm too commercialized for this taste.
As for the Baked Blueberry cheesecake, it was worth every bite. it came with accompanying blueberry yogurt as well. Very fresh and very tasty, not very sweet, just like Cheesecake should be.
It was Saturday evening and we were in Colaba. Our first two choices for beer, Leopold and Mondegar were super crowded so we decided to head to Woodside Inn. The place is small but has a great vibe, good music and excellent crowd. We grabbed some beer and stood at the bar. Tried their summer special lunch pizza - spinach, mushrooms and cheese. It was light, thin crust and very tasty. I am going there again, soon.
I went to this place with my husband late in the evening post our office as we wanted to spend some time off from our busy and tied up schedule, so we decided to visit this place, also we had heard about the place and the food. so we thought of trying it out. and really we both had a great time. continental food was awesome and even the restaurant manager helped us in deciding our order as well as we were bit confused and blank.
Brilliant food and ambiance
We decide to go to Woodside Inn at around 10PM.
Located at a very peaceful place off the main road, this is one place you would definitely wanna keep re-visiting.
A very calm and relaxed English pub interiors with a lot of 'old' Bombay on the walls, split into a bar (ground floor) and a fine dining (1st floor) with not-that-loud-music allowing better conversations is what this place is about.
We settle down upstairs and we were given a million menu cards! Very confusing it was. We then, ordered a pitcher of KF beer, roasted tomatoes and wild mushrooms veg pizza, pesto grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella pizza, potato skins with wasabi mayo and 2 Woodside Inn special double cheddar beef burgers.
The potato skins were yum, the wasabi mayo made them yummier.
The pizzas, though smaller than the expected 10 inches, was just brilliant! Usually, vegetarian anything is a guaranteed "NO", but the Roasted tomato and mushroom pizza was beyond awesome. the crust, the pizza sauce, totally awesome! And the chicken pizza was legendary!
The burgers were served with fries and coleslaw. Not that great coleslaw I must admit. The fries, though kinda oily, was crispy as hell! The burger was visually disappointing. I kinda expected cheese slices and a slightly bigger burger, but all the disappointment disappeared with 1 bite into that burger. The beef was well cooked and just enough toppings to not rip your burger apart. The amount of cheese wasn't that much though.
Since the portion size was small, we ordered for another pizza and potato skins. This time we ordered the Roasted Tomatoes, Bell Peppers and wild mushrooms Pizza.
And that's when we realized it was the same pizza plus bell peppers and quite frankly, the previous one was better.
The pitcher of beer was kinda disappointing is what the others mentioned, "It is too watery", said one. But then, considering the many many options of beer, opting for drought was the wrong thing to do.
Overall a brilliant experience with the taste of food and the ambiance. Better portion size would've made it epic!
The saviour of Sobo
Undoubtedly the best place to go around Colaba Causeway. Great Music, Great food, Awesome collection of beers. Great Ambience. Great crowd...and most importantly...really good service. Try their spiced mojitos - Amazing stuff served in jam bottles. Their thin crust pizzas and Gnocchi aglio oglio are lovely too...
Great selection of beers and food
The choice of wheat beers available ensured that my first visit to woodside inn started off on a good note. The seating/ambience is cheery and cozy. a welcome change is that the music is played at the correct volume. You can hear it, recognise the song, and yet continue having a conversation. Since we went on a friday after office, getting a seat was not a problem. However there was a crowd when we left around 10:00.
The choice of beers as mentioned above is good. The food is good too. We had a cheese and meat platter , pork shoulder, beef, pepperoni pizza ,fries with rosemary and finally potato skins with wasabi mayo. All the dishes were great, and I will definately come back to try the rest.
All in all, if you are in the mood for a comfortable evening and dont mind spending a bit..this is the go to place.
awesome ambiance, awesome hangout
I mostly hangout here whenever I have to meet up with friends. This place is just brilliant on the weekends. They have a very professional bar staff who have been trained pretty well. They can make you pretty much anything you want.
The food here is out of this world. I would highly recommend the Goat cheese pizza paired with a nice red wine. Their burgers are nice as well. They have the most amazing beer list I have seen in Bombay.
Being in the posh Colaba, this place mostly is packed with the high end of the city so there is somewhat of a sophistication about this place in terms of dress and mannerisms. However I have never encountered snobbishness and have also seen hippie -like foreigners in there.
This place really serves good food.... thoug am a veggie dont have much options, still i enjoyed what ever was available.... & yes the beer part is the best! they have loads of varieties!! Loved their ambiance, it was simple yet stunning with old Mumbai pics splattered all over.....
Beer and Burger Festival rocks
This was pure awesomeness. The burgers arrived on a wooden platter with an aside of fries and coleslaw, and the beer came chilled. I'd called for an American Whopper, my cousin for the Nacho beef burger. Both were juicy, filling and absolutely divine.
Service was excellent too. The waiter realised I couldn't figure how to pick the burger without spilling. Without my asking for help, he promptly arrived at our table, cut our burgers into neat halves and asked us to enjoy our meal. Which we did.
If you haven't been to the Beer and Burger Festival here already, you must! I've already been twice, and plan on visiting a couple of times more. Only so I can sample almost every burger on this menu.
Terrible Is the word i can use here ..... Their burgers are pathetic I am a foodie I would recommend Mcds Allo tikki is way better and healthier .. More over 4-5 of us felt sick after consumption of their burgers last night ... very few vegetarien options ...I would say its one of the worst meals I have had there .... Mood is put off so badly that I am never stepping back .. no complaints with service that was good BUT AWFUL FOOODDDDD
Woodside Inn at Colaba is a wonderful place for breakfast. Get in, take the wooden stairs on the right and go up to the next level - on your way, take time to enjoy the pictures of "Bombay" framed with charm on the wall. Wooden glory and an old-world-charm turned modern give the place a wonderful feeling. Breakfast hours means sunlight gracing your table with with it's bright rays but the design of the arches of the windows keep them out of your eyes. Perfect!
Our breakfast consisted of Fresh Watermelon Juice, Waffles, Garlic Mozzarella Bread and Cheddar & Roasted Tomato Pizza. Lovely breakfast, we must say.
The watermelon juice was good - fresh, not too much pulp, and no seeds whatsoever! The tall glass and broad straw made the experience even better.
The Garlic Mozzarella Bread was good. Really good. It wasn't crusty, the cheese was pasty and perfectly spread across the bread, the garlic wasn't over the top - just enough to make you feel the pungent flavor and enjoy it with the cheese.
The Waffles were the best I've had in a while, and was the piece de resistance at Breakfast. Served with a side of fresh fruits and some cream, they were not too sweet, and not too crisp. Honestly, the dough was prepared really well - just the right amount of butter, the right amount of flour, sugar and salt, all sifted really well.
The Cheddar & Roasted Tomato Pizza was really good. Thin crust pizza, with plenty of cheese and slices of roasted tomato - juicy enough but wouldn't spill over. The Cheddar cheese did the magic - you could be reminded of those home made pizzas you shared with family when you were little and mozzarella wasn't part of the home-chef's kitchen in India.
All in all, the prompt service at the place, the ambiance and the lovely food make it a place you should go to for breakfast.
yummy food- lovely feel
its a really nice place to just chill with friends... have been there a few times... its a perfect place after a day of shopping at colaba causeway, to gulp down some chilled beer.... their vegie burger is fantastic... i prefer adding fried egg to it.... i have even tried the pesto pasta which was really good..... ,my friends have enjoyed the non-vegetarian food there as well... their portions r decent.. and its slightly over priced. service is pretty decent... they dont take too long.. nor do they try to rush you after your meal is over... one can go here at anytime... but its not a place for people who want to have a quiet meal. but i have always had a good experience each time i have been there
Oil loving chef and cocktail guru bartender
I had heard great things about this place so we decided to give it a twirl. It was great. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was perfect and pink and all things nice. My husbands beer was great as well. Fine, bad joke. Anyhoo, we ordered the beer something onion rings and mushrooms. We had enough oil in our bodies to be drilled and make India self sufficent in the fuel department. Besides that, the garlic bread and everything else, was awesome! Cute place, i like.
cant believe what we had to witness last night at woodside inn. me and couple of friends decided to dine at woodside inn but had no idea we would have to witness shameful taste of racism. last night when we reach the place at the entrance the manager demanded for age id so we all began to pull out our ids as we understand and respect the rules and law. while we all were digging out ids from our bags a group of white women came and directly walked in demanding table for 4. we all shocked asked the manger how come they weren't not asked for the ids? to that the manager shamefully replied : they looked old enough!!!
seriously, are you kidding me!!! i mean if you just going by the looks let me tell u my friends are generally teased to look like uncles.. and definitely a group of 25yr olds cannot look like teenagers yet we were fine with display our ids.
its so shameful to see we Indians discriminating our own people and sucking up to these white skins.
Disgusting, Shameful, Disgrace!!!!

Dear Ms Sakshi,
Our apologies with regards to you not enjoying your evening and thank you for informing us about your experience. .
As you not being happy about our way of checking i.d. cards policy at entrance gate, we would like to inform you that even we hate to bother our guest through any means, but this is only excise regulations we follow.
Also sometimes in busy night its hard for us to ask for id's to every single guest so we survive on assumption in some cases. Also the same case with regular guests
I and my cousin visited this place this Monday and had a couple of drinks and some starters (Grilled Harissa chicken skewers and grilled prawns stuffed smoked bacon).
I've been down with severe throat infection and very high fever since tuesday morning and my cousin has been down with the loosies since yesterday.
I've not been this sick in some time. I was earlier a big fan of thi place but not anymore!

Our apologies with regards to you not enjoying your lunch and thank you for informing us about your experience. We have looked into the details of the food you had consumed on Monday and here are the details.
On the day when you had ordered Grilled Harissa chicken and stuffed prawns with smoked bacon from our main kitchen, the same batch of meat was also used to make other preparations in the restaurant. We had no other report of complaints from guests who consumed same dishes on the that day. Let us assure you th
I have been going to this place for some time now. And i love this place. I love the ambiance, the food, the staff. I even like their restroom with double doors and old-fashioned switchboard!
The food has alwys been amazing. I love their peach iced tea and their salads. And if you want to go the whole hog, try their pizzas! Yum! Not sure how their non-veg is though, since im a veg. Their apple crumble and coffees are outstanding too. The only problem is that they never have tables empty and you have to wait downstairs!
This place has it own charm. You walk in and feel the aura. It has a nice wooden decor and the lights compliment the interiors. The upper section has awesome wall art. The food and drinks are very nice(Try the potato wedges..Mmmm)
The service was nice too. Expensive for an unplanned meal but worth every penny and moment if u have planned something exclusive.
Looking forward to visit this place again :)
Sorry some place else
I went to woodside Inn with a few friends for a breakfast and was disappointed with the service. We waited 90 mins and then walked out without any food. The resturant's excuse was that there was a large bikers' breakfast party happening which was keeping their kitchen and staff occupied so we had to wait.
But please 90 mins for a simple Breakfast !!!!

We were very particular about this isolated incident and worked towards the concerns you have raised.
Delaying your breakfast because was truly not our intention.

Have been here a couple of times and i must say it has a great Bar menu if nothing else .
Very clean and modern use of space gives it very sophesticated and urban feel ... like !!
Food is very nice , i loved the pizzas and the pastas , beer was amazing (my god so many options of my favs)
Unfortunately i was not able to go there for breakfast though i wanna try it soon , they should make it all day breakfast in my opinion.
Overall a place to go with pals and relax , chat , and enjoy!
A good sunday brunch
Went to catch a quick sunday brunch today. It's a tiny place down (upstairs was full). They asked us to sit at the bar till we got a table and within 10 minutes we had a table. We weren't expecting one, so bonus points for that.
Ordered a Rocket leaves salad with a Lime Vinaigrette with a Arugula and Artichoke Pizza (both without the cheese). It was really nice and light. The salad was perfect and so was the pizza.
Full marks !
Be careful or they will take advantage of you
1 October 2011 ---- I order 2 draft kingfisher and gave the bartender 500. Actually it was 560 for 2 beers, so the bartender asked for 60 extra. No problem, I gave 100 more and left the change as a tip.
5 minutes later the bartender approached us and said we only paid 200 and was very pushy, and wanted us to leave a card at the bar too. So I ask why did you just ask for only 60 more I have you 600 --- and he could not answer. Very pushy so I paid the 500 more to avoid an argument. (I guess $10 aussie won't send me broke to get rid of him)
That's the thanks you get in this place for 1) being a white tourist, and 2) being nice in the first place and leaving a tip.

Good food washed away in taxes!
I wont write a full length review. I love the food at Woodside Inn and would recommend you to go eat it but the pricing is not moderate by any standards!
My friends and I went there very recently and had to foot a heavy bill.
We were ok with the prices on the menu but were certainly not pleased to see that we were made to pay 4 kinds of taxes.
1. VAT 12.5% (ok)
2. Govt. Tax 3.4% (?)
3. Service Tax 10.3% (ok)
4. Soda Tax 20% (WTF!)
We had 3 Fresh Lime Sodas for drinks and were charged for the soda! Ridiculous isn't it?! We didn't even have alcohol! All of us were shocked and didn't really raise this with the management thinking we probably didn't know about it but after coming home, looking up online and asking people I know, I gathered there is no such thing as Soda tax.
So, at the end of it, it was a very expensive night out and we were very disappointed! I know things are getting expensive these days but these taxes are just ridiculous and we definitely didn't think we'd have to pay such a heavy price for Fresh Lime Sodas!
October 11, 2011response from management at Woodside Inn:
First of all we really appreciate you checking the bill at our restaurant and giving your feedback on the same. We also apologize if our taxation structure has caused you to have a negative experience with us. Let us take this opportunity to inform you that all the taxes we have on our bills are as per directives from the government on the restaurant industry. We would be happy to provide you the details of the tax structure we have on our bills to avoid any confusion:
Hard Liquor - VAT(5%),
Wines- VAT (20%),
Awesome, very happy :D
The food is simply DELICIOUS and value for money.
I tried the cannelloni with grilled veggies and chicken the first time i visited this place and it was brilliant. Last night tried the citrus paprika chicken and that too turned out to be so yummy!
Avg meal for 2 minus the drinks come up to around 1000Rs
The ambience is very good, but tends to get noisy and getting tables becomes a problem during peak lunch and dinner hours.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Also remember they insist on an ID proof after 6pm
All in all
cosy and brilliant
after alot and i mean ALOT of researching.. i picked this place for my bday treat.. and i swear i cudnt hav asked for any other better place.. the place was really cosy.. old feel touch to it..the staff were kind.. hardly took any time to get our table..the prices were on the higher side but the food was GREAT.. at the end we were asked for our review and suggestion.. i had one issue regarding their sangria and i was surpirsed to see their fast response.. straight away the manager came and asked wat the problem was and how they could improve it.. over all i had a fantastic time ! great place for dinner or brunch..
Great ambiance, good food
Veg only review.
Have been to this restaurant several times and each time I have had a different dish. What this place is famous for :
3. The bar.
I would like to add a new one: The Burger . Having tasted at several burger joints in the city, I don't think anything comes close to this place. The patty is simply delicious and they serve extra coleslaw on the side.
Though the place isn't very spacious, it has an ambiance that makes its like a semi bar... darkly lit. The crowd here is often pretty good.
You can avoid the mango chocolate dessert.
Improve & you'll score BIGGER! :-)
Food Quality: 5/5
Food Quantity: 3/5
Food Pricing: 4/5
My boyfriend & I visited this cozy woody nook on Saturday the (4th of June) for lunch. Entailed under are all the details of our experience.
Ambience: The interiors are all made of wood. The seating area is very cozy and the bar area is considerably refined. The lighting was beautiful. Dim lights to promote a romantic ambience backed by soothing country music from the 80s. This is not a anything like a pub, just a restaurant providing a relaxed Portuguese Styled ambience. It was unique, classy and yet warm ?
Service: We were attended to immediately with smiles and warm welcoming gestures. The waiters checked if we appreciated our food, they suggested meals to us based on our palate preferences and they are all well spoken (we spoke to 5 different waiters as a shift changed occurred at 3p.m. amongst the team)
Food Quality: We ordered for Garlic Bread, Calamiri rings, Chicken Harissa, Chicken Lasagna and Stuffed Chicken with Grilled Balsamic Veggies served with the most delicious white sauce ever! The quality of food cannot be underestimated in this place. The Calamiri rings (Served with a spicy sauce) and the Chicken with Grilled veggies were are favorites amongst everything we ordered. We even had a drought beer (500ml) called for that was served in a kingsize beer mug and we shared it. The meats were cooked perfectly and I must admit, Ive not found calamari rings taste this great even in Goa! The Bread however, they could have applied some more butter/cheese to make sure it wouldnt get hard soon; but the other dishes made up for their tiny booboo.
Food Quantity: The Calamari rings shocked us! They were over flowing in that oval like dish they served us in. The Chicken Harissa had only 4 Chicken Sticks served on a bed of onions, lettuce and lemon slices. They should increase the quantity to 6 sticks as the dish is comparatively expensive to the rest of the starters. They served us 4 pieces of Garlic Bread that unfortunately dried and got crisp within 7 8 minutes. The Lasagna was ridiculously a poor serving. They need to be generous with their portions if they would like their customers to be generous with tips. It was a veg lasagna that the waiter offered to tailor make & convert it to a chicken lasagna hoping wed be happy. The gesture was kind in deed but the quantity didnt match up.
Food Pricing: Inclusive of taxes, the total we paid here was 1653/- The beer was 345/- (Expensive!) the Garlic Bread was 120/- (Phew!) the Calamari Rings were 195/- (VFM!) The Chicken Harissa was 290/- (Increase Portions!), The Stuffed Chicken with Grilled Balsamic Veggies was 350/- (VFM!) and the Chicken tailor made Lasagna was 355/- (Ridiculously Poor Serving)
Suggestion: Match your quantity of food with the costing of your dishes. Update the Menu on Burrp. Everything else is a Thumbs up!
I don't want to spend much energy to think and write about this SAD place but since this has been too much hyped and over rated on Burrp, I don't want someone else to get enchanted by the reviews as they are just contrary to what the fact about the place is.
It's a very congested place with awful food and pathetic service.
Visit the place only if you want to waste your money as its not at all worth it...
One of the most pathetic place I have ever been in Mumbai, We went there after reading the reviews from Burrp, but we were totally disappointed. It spoiled our Saturday evening. Infact giving it a rating of a sigle star seems to be overrated.
I went there with couple of friends. Initially they asked us to wait for about 40 mins in the bar area after which we were suppose to get table, but even after waiting for about 2 hrs we didn't get a table for 8 people to sit instead they gave us small table where only 3 people could sit. We had to literary stand and eat out food, which was also not that great.
In the end when we got totally screwed up with the service after waiting for 2:30 hours, we decided to pay the bill and leave the pathetic place. When we were leaving the bar, they gave us a table where we cud sit. We ordered champagne as we were on a celebration mood but after half an hour, the waiter came and told us that all the champagne is over.We totally gave up and left the place....
The place is very small there is not enough place to stand properly. Overall neither the food was great nor the service was great.
I won't recommend anyone to visit this ridiculous place.
Definately needs revisit
The first time i went to this place was on a Satdy afternoon...Its a small place with limited capacity, But the interiors have an old time charm to it with timeless pictures of old mumbai hung across.....The food was really good, tried the Harissa mushrooms and corn pizza and the pasta in pesto sauce....The pizza was yummy (thin crust base) & the pasta was rich too...The service was good and waiters are quite prompt when u call them....Ive been there again a couple of times with my friends...The starters are good too...Overall ive found my experience there very good except once when i tried the pasta in aribiatta sauce, where i felt that it was just too saucy & could have been toned down a bit...But overall a place i would go again & again for the food, ambiance & service...
When I entered the place, thought it was just a place to drink. Great beer list btw! :) However, the food is just as gooood! The pasta that I had there was certainly among the best I've had! The dessert was just too good - we had ordered the mudpie cake. Overall, a wonderful ambiance, great food & a very good bar menu... Definitely a place to visit again!!!
checked out this place for a saturday morning breakfast..reached at around 11.30 am. The place is nice, though its not easy to locate - no very visible sign marks. There are 2 floors.. ground for bar etc and frst for fine dine. I happened to be the only one on grnd floor. The food was nice. The menu was changed at 11.30 am as breakfast time is over. Will try it one more time before am able to really comment on food.
Must visit !!
Have been here pretty often, latest being Sunday for lunch. Excellent ambience..very casual and perfect for a good time with friends, great setting with big windows overlooking Colaba, perfect music...not too loud, good collection of beers, good food...its got everything going for it. Service though could be more prompt.
Ordered the roast tomato and mushroom soup- good...feta cheese bruschetta, beer battered onion rings, potato skins with wasabi mayo...pesto pasta and couple of pizzas for main course.Thumbs up to everything!!
Overall, great hangout with good food and excellent ambience...must visit!!
Nice Place with Cool Ambience
I was planning to go out for a lunch on wednesday in Colaba and came to know about this place from Times of India. We reached there around 2:40. Got a seat near window on 1st floor. A nice view of the road and regal cinema. Waiters were friendly but service was slow. A large collection of beers. We ordered some tomato sauce based pasta and it was quite tasty. Rates were appropriate, you can say cheaper if we compare it with other restaurants in that area. Overall, I liked this place and would like to go there again.
Chilled out place with fabulous service
Decided to go here for a small celebratory dinner on a Tuesday night. It's smallish place in one of the old Colaba buildings.
They werent taking reservations. We managed to get a table for 2 at around 7.45pm, without a wait. The beer collection is really good - can select from a few Belgian beers and Brit ales, apart from the usual suspects. The fish fingers were yummy, crisp and not so greasy.
The mains were the highpoint. My husband's Citrus chicken was nearly perfect - presented very well on a bed of potatoes and garlicky spinach. Just a little more sauce would have been nice,
The gnocchi in pesto that I ordered was melt in the mouth. Just wish it had been presented more appetizingly - it looked like a flat bowl of light green stuff.
We didn't have room for dessert.
The highpoint was the service - despite the restaurant being full, the staff was really attentive and accommodating when we asked for a change of table.
Loved it and would visit again.
Lovely place great food.
I visited the place last week. I had a great time there.
Food - The taste of the food was amazing. The quantity of the food was also good.
Service - The service was very good and quick. The waiter was little confused while taking the order :).
Ambiance - The place is very small. We had to wait for sometime.
At the end was worth visiting the place. Must visit.
Hmm, will have to go again to be more clear!
P.S.- Finding it was a bit challenging, everyone said its opp. Regal Cinema, which it actually is but the thing is you cannot take a left from Regal Cinema as its a one way. So the best way I think is to say that take the left after Delhi Darbar which is on your left side and then take a immediate curve and you will come right in front of Woodside Inn. Even the left is not allowed, but then you will take a right immediately(place comes on the left).
I had heard about this place a LOT! So I had quite a lot of expectations. I went at 2:45 PM, first floor was packed. Its a small place. Waiter said 10 mins and meanwhile we can sit down at the bar. The same waiter never came down to ask us whether we would like to shift up. Careless service!
All the time we were there and even when we left, place was full. So I assume its doing good!
Down a few tables were empty apart from the seats at the bar. But apart from the first 2 tables, the next 2 tables can get really irritating if the bar is packed and also because waiters keep passing the 2 tables to reach the kitchen. I had to constantly bend forward in order to let go of the waiters who had dishes in their hand. Congested.
The entire place ambiance is nice, casual and cool! I like it! If its empty you can really feel very comfortable and cosy!
Service was mixed. Waiter was friendly and helpful. We ordered(all veg) -
1 Virgin Pinacolada
Garlic Bread with Cheese
Pasta in White Sauce
Pinacolada was ordered by my friend and he said it has a very bad taste as if the cream/milk was spoilt. We asked the waiter to replace it. Since nothing happened for sometime in terms of new news from the guy at the bar who made it, we ordered for a Fresh Lime Soda.
Total tab - 735 rs. Pricing is ok, not very expensive, not cheap also. Servings also are ok. Not too large, not too small!
Fresh Lime Soda was not charged. If it was done intentionally, very nice and ethical thing to do. Its common to not charge for anything which is sent back, but to not charge for the replacement, is my first experience!
Garlic bread should have come first, instead the Pasta was served first. After 10-15 mins only when we asked for the Garlic Bread, waiter went to the kitchen and brought it immediately. Did he forget we ordered that?
My friend didn't like the Pinacolada nor the Pasta(too bland for him)!
I liked everything whatever we ordered.
So leaving the place I had a mixed feeling.
And hence I will have to visit it again to have a better sense of judgement about this place!
Lip Smacking Good!
It's beautiful, charming, quaint and everything one expects from a 'Hidden Find'. Once inside, you'll be transported from the world of noise to a haven of lovely soothing music and food that touches your soul. Amusing pictures of Aamchi Mumbai, in black and white, adorn the walls. If one sits by the window, one can almost feel the contrast between the fast-paced outside and the much relaxed, easy-going and laid-back interiors.
What's also interesting is that the restaurant offers fortnightly specials so one can expect to find something new every once in a while. It offers a wide selection of high quality beers from across the world and reasonably priced, well-made cocktails too. And the 'desserts lover' - you are in for a treat! The pastries are to die for.
The staff is kind but not very knowledgeable (as far as the menu is concerned) but they help as much as they can.
Whether you're with a date, or with friends or just by yourself, you'll find this place absolutely delightful and pleasant.
being a Saturday night, we got a table after waiting for more than an hour...However the music & drinks kept us busy!!!!!!.
Even the staff was courteous......
Finally wen v got a table, having alreay ordered while we were waiting, the food came very fast...n it was awsum.....
the pizza & pasta were to die for....so fresh & so delectable...it was totally worth the wait..n not to forget GREAT prices!!!!!!
M surely going back there again & again......
I love this place!
Visited woodside Inn for the first time about 6 months back on a friends recommendation.
It is the perfect Friday evening Hang out place for the "working class" of Mumbai.
Relaxation personified. Music is gr8 yet subtle. Tho its louf doesnt feel like its intruding or messing with ur relaxation mode.
Great wine, Pizzas are to die for.
Great for both vegetarian and non vegetarians!
One of my favourites places in Mumbai
Great Food, Drinks and Music
It's the best place to be in town these days. I love the pasta and they have a lovely variety of drinks. They play my favourite songs and I just want to go to the place more often. These days its been really crowded so I suggest they should expand. Great location too. One finds many foreigners there. :)
Shame on their disloyalty!
Woodside Inn has become deservedly popular for their smart interior, reasonably priced drinks and decent bar snacks and food. But last Thursday I tried to drop in for a beer and pizza dinner with a friend, as I've often done before, and was turned away. Apparently from now on, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights are for "couples only"!
This is a place which thrives on customers from the neighbourhood (Colaba) to drop in for breakfast, coffee, snacks, whatever and then has the cheek to throw us out for three nights a week! I call upon all Colaba-ites to boycott the place until they show good sense and basic decency.
Went to Woodside Inn for lunch today. Well all i would say is that this place is a find. We had the Bruchetta with Goat Cheese and Patato skins with Wasabi Mayo for starters. Both of them were fantastic.
Three of us ordered different things. Pasta Pizza and Burger......jughead would have been proud. But well the overstuffing was worth it. The Pasta with pesto and pine nut sauce was very good wven though they went overboard with the sauce. The Pizza with a thin crust a lot of toppings to choose from is also recommended. The burger was so so but then there isnt much you can do with a vegetarian burger.
I would say go to this place for a nice breakfast.....they have an extensive menu and open at 8 am. The colonial ambience and a nice cup of tea and pancakes and the day at the office may not seem so daunting after all. Also its also a good option to go out for just a drink in the evening.
The prices are also reasonable and portions are generous. Will definitely check out the breakfast soon.
Sounding like an English pub, Woodside Inn is actually like a charming alcove true to its name. Housed in a Gothic stone building, the tiny place has a wonderful character.
Devoid of yuppies, the crowd is much relaxed and unpretentious. An ideal place to have a wonderful Saturday night out with friends.
The decor is warm with nice table settings with 4 to 10 people. The lighting is ideally dim, yet bright enough to read the menu.
The service was friendly and prompt. The pizzas are wonderful: thincrust, generous toppings, good cheese and not too greasy! The drinks are moderately priced and the cocktails were quite potent.
It starts wrapping up by 12:30 and are very particular on shutting by 1am. No amount of lingering around or prodding helps.
Ambience, food, drinks, not too expensive, good service and a good crowd mix: A great and slightly hard to find combo in the city(town + suburbs)- Worth it!
The food in woodside inn is amazing!! the pastas, the pizzas , the starters most of the food is amazing,
The bar could have been more stocked up!
Most importantly the service, now thats a problem, there is this one particular waiter, unfortunately he wasn't wearing a name tag on, but he gave a table we had been waiting for to a group of foreigners and then he lies to us saying they had reserved a table but when we called them before to book a table they said it was first come first serve, so its clear he gave them preference assuming he would get a better tip, but we then complained to the manager and he quickly resolved it by telling them that we were waiting for that table and made that lying waiter apologize to us,
This place is excellent in regard to food and music though
Have been here a couple of times. The place has a nice chilled out feel to it: wodden interiors, frames and mirrors on the wall and mini bar stools with nice music. Just loud enough to hear the words over the crowd but not so loud that it would drown your own.
The food is good. I recommend the pizzas and the Grilled Harissa Chicken. The drinks aren't too bad either. Very affordable and very comfortable.
Can get a bit crowded on weekends so I'd probably visit again on a weekday. But I'd visit again, for sure.
Nice place to check out when on date
Have been here couple of times on/off office hours, it is definitely appreciable place to hang out either with group for which prior booking is necessary or with your date.
Small family bar type ambiance with nice furniture and wi-fi facility keeps your work interrupted. Starters are awesome but I always prefer garlic bread with beer to start with. Good food quality and nice service, its small n nice place those who wants clean, cool n silent environment.
Good option in Colaba
Though Colaba is the place for the mondegars and the indigos, woodside holds its own quite well against all of them
Its not as cramped as some of the places (at least not on most days) and not as expensive as the rest of them ..
The beer selection is good (more than the usual kingfisher, fosters, budweiser range) and the salads are great ..
The starters are good , notable examples: harissa chicken, fish fingers, beer battered onion rings etc. The burgers aren't aren't anything to write home about and are best avoided.
A pint of hoegaarden costs Rs 295 , Corona Rs 200 ( app) .. one does miss the Paulaner though ..
Go there if you wish to avoid the pretentious crowd at Leo's or the cramped space and long waiting lines at Monde's
Lovely little plc tucked away in Colaba
If you're looking for good food (not a huge spread), great drinks & a quaint english feel this is the place to be. Beats going to the usual Mondegar's or Leo's. The food menu isn't extensive, but everytime I've eaten there I've practically gorged on repeats! Order the calamari rings (if they're in season) ..they were soo yum that it took me back to the beach shacks in Goa. Also highly recommend the Chicken Harissa for starters... I've never tripped on a starter this much. Fish pizza gets 4 stars. The drinks are good.. but the ambience scores the highest - great taste in music, lovely interiors.. if you're lucky to visit in the afternoons when its not crowded this is a perfect place to unwind. Especially recommended for couples.
Beer & Burger Festival
I am a regular visitor to woodside and had to been to the festival last year.
But i must say we were very disappointed with the fair this time around. Most of the burgers tasted the same and lacked that punch and the flavor. There was no creativity in the burgers and it felt like the burgers were just an after thought to the beers that they could find, like a bacon and cheese burger for Mexico.
We order 4 different burgers and the beers to go with them. But our burgers arrived after about an hour and something of waiting and after 3 round of beers. The only burger that was even worth eating was the American whopper. And the combo been offered is also not a good deal
The food in the place has always been good. But the last couple of time i have been there. It has been really bad and disappointing. I hope the management looks into the same and improves the food.
Great Place to Hangout
Went there on the Sunday afternoon. A really hot sunday afternoon. The moment I entered this place, i felt really relaxed. Ordered beers for my friend and me.
We had decided before we went to this place that we wanted to eat Italian and right from the 1st bite at the garlic bread, we felt hadn't made the wrong choice. The risotto and the penne pasta we ordered were as good as you would get in any good restaurant in Mumbai.
Once again, it is one place I wouldn't mind going for lunch just for the ambiance and their nice music that goes along with it.
Good regular hangout place
Ambience: There is ground floor cozy seating with a bar and an upstairs seating like a normal restaurant. The downstairs is dimly lit and nice for conversations. They also have WiFi. A lot of foreigners and officegoers frequent this place.
Food: It is priced on the higher side and not too many appealing options as starters. Had the onion rings and the goat cheese bruschetta. The onion rings were the usual served with a cheesy dip but the bruschetta was amazing. Would go again just for that.
Drinks: Not too expensive. Accompanied by potato chips. Not too fond of them and wish they had something else to go with it. They have a large variety of international beers as well.
Service: Is very good with the staff going out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.
Damages: 1300 for 2 starters, 1 glass of Indian wine and 2 large Bacardis with diet coke.
The cozy corner in Colaba
I love this place. Well, being on nodding acquaintance with all the guys who work there also contributes but in general the ambience combined with the food and cheap whisky always make this 'I wanna go back to Woodside' arguement run through my head.
Two very good starters- The Goat Cheese Bruschetta and the Beer Battered Onion Rings. We ended up going there on a dry day the last time and this is how we consumed alcohol :D
Whisky ranges from 110-150 bucks for a small peg and well when you get to drink Haig and Black Dog at those prices, I would reckon it is a small price to pay.
A varied range of pastas and pizzas are available here along with chicken and beef mains.
Sunday afty lunches or weekday dinners are your best bet. Sat nites tend to be loud music playing that drowns any conversation you might want to have.
So go to Woodside and soak in the ambience listening to Norah Jones crooning her latest..
My choice of a watering hole
On a casual Saturday night wife and me intended to have a drink before we dig into our dinner. Woodside Inn is a place which is close to home but something we had not tried ever since they revamped.
At about 9ish when we entered this little 2 level place we surely had no hope to get a seat ( they just have 3 tables on Level 1 and about 6 on Level 2-but that's more of the dinner place). But that didn't bother us. The place was very inviting, good music and finding some space we sneaked ourselves onto the bar and got our first round of drinks.
We didn't order anything to eat but from what was moving around the dishes looked appetizing. The bar gives you a nice ring-side view of what goes behind making /serving those drinks including how to make those salt-rimmed glasses and serving the wine in chilled glasses. A learning experience indeed.
You could see a few regulars stuck in the corner - somebody reading a book over a couple of wine glasses and the other doing his internet surfing tucking into fancy foreign beer (they have a great collection and I am going to try it on my next visit).
I was very comfortable with the place and we intend to make this watering hole - and next time have dinner too.
World's Best Bugger Fest...
No... that's not a mistake - they advertise a Beer and Burger Festival, but what we got was something else altogether...
We were lured by the advert in the newspaper of a Beers of the World festival with Hoegaarden, Stella and Kilkenny on the menu, served with a burger from the same nation among others. Our first rude shock was when the waiter said that the beers were out of stock and not available anywhere in the city - Isn't that why we came here in the first place?
Next come the burgers... all tasted the same despite an even distribution between Irish & American burgers. What was worse - my burger was cushioned in a brown bread top and a white bread bottom - another one two plates down unsurprisingly had the reverse!! To top it off, the cheese we ordered on our burgers turned out to be processed slices rather than fresh Cheddar, Gouda and Goat's cheese off a block, as was made out to be on the menu. I wonder... does anyone make processed Goat's cheese slices?
When we asked for the chef, or the manager, no one came for more than 20 minutes by which time we were hungry and could do little else, but eat! The manager, probably sensing our mood, sneakily came by only after we had finished, and without trying to apologize for the poor quality and utter confusion of the meal, launched into a defense of the processed cheese. He unwisely antagonized us till finally, 2 1/2 hours after we first got there, we walked out without paying for the burgers. Bugger them...!
I left my number for a more responsible person, perhaps the owner to call, but nothing till now... If your reading this please ask your manager for my number. If your staff sweeps this under the carpet, then your place has no hope at all...!
I would not recommend this place to anyone... unless all you want is to hang out with free wi-fi and a coffee, or to grab a beer - Ha!
For those looking for the next best eating place - this ain't it!
Great place to hang out - any time of the day
Woodside Inn has a very narrow niche in the Mumbai dining scene. Firstly it has Wi-Fi (freeee) so its the perfect place to grab your laptop and read the news with morning coffee (or beer if that's your fancy) with a bunch of friends, of course. Had lunch here many times - the pastas are perfect, and the price is just right for the portions. Drinks are a bit expensive (non-alcoholic mainly) but still up to par of what you'd expect.
Great place, give it a try.
One negative - the last time I went the Pizza oven was mysteriously not working and there were out of lemon ice tea - at lunch time.
P.s. - the only complaint I have is the service. The waiters are really nice and do their best but sometimes they mess up their English and don't know the menu as well as they should.
Wi-fi and beer...anyone?
After woodside inn got it's much needed face-lift it warranted a visit, so we went there for a quick dinner the other night. I was pleasantly surprised. No, it's not gourmet fare, but if your looking for a chilled-out place with easy, uncomplicated food, then this place might be to your liking. And the whole place has wi-fi and they serve alcohol! Nice.
The menu is not an extensive one. A couple of salads (and i mean 2 or 3), some starters, pastas, pizza, and some main courses (i think 4 dishes if i'm not mistaken).
Ordered fried calamari and the four cheese pizza to start with. The squid was delicious and fresh and cooked to perfection (not chewy at all). The pizza was better than any of the big pizza-chains in town, the crust thin and lots of yummy stringy cheese. We also ordered 2 sandwiches to take away; a ham-n-cheese and a roast beef on baguette. The ham n cheese was soggy n gross by the time we got home and the roast beef is still lying uneaten in the fridge! The total bill was about Rs 1300, which included two alcoholic drinks. Not bad i say, though i'm definitely giving the sandwiches a miss the next time! Vegetarians have a decent amount of dishes to choose from.
The place is cute and has a cosy lil bar area downstairs and a dinning area above. There are photographs hung on the wall, taken by various photographers, which are for sale. The waiters are attentive without being in-your-face.
So all-in-all its a place to come after work, or hangout with friends, have a few beers, wash it down with some starters. Worth a check-out.
