Being on the hunt for a dinner location, a friend happened to mention Andheris WTF! Wed heard quite a lot about the place and being in the vicinity, we decided to give it a try. On reaching there, we found out that Tuesday nights are Karaoke Nights there! Splendid!
In one word, WTF! can be described as youthful. There is a certain vibe that the place has which appeals to the youth to a large extent. The crowd is great and the atmosphere brilliant. The menu, however, isnt extensive. There are hardly any items that can be considered as main course. The menu comprises primarily of finger food. Nevertheless, the food items were delicious.
We tried the Paneer Tikka and Jalapeno Poppers first. The Paneer was melt-in-the-mouth soft and the jalapeno poppers were loaded with cheese (automatically winning brownie points from me, the eternal cheese lover). We also tried the Veg Naan Pizza and Mini Veg Burger, both of which tasted great. None of the food is too heavy on the pocket either
Being a teetotaler, I didnt try any of the alcoholic beverages, but they seemed to be reasonably priced. My Son of a Peach (LOL!) mocktail proved to be the perfect, refreshing summer drink. The service was pretty quick and the staff was ready to help and polite. No complaints of that front.
All in all, we had a blast belting out the songs on the Karaoke. With good food, nice ambience and of course, Burn Bills cash back offer, WTF! is a cool place to chill with friends. Im sure to go back here soon.
The place has more focus on the outdoor section but they do have a small indoor section as well for those who cannot stand the Mumbai heat. The drinks are reasonably priced, the service is efficient.I totally recommend this to try and love the keema pav(non veg version for pav baji)You must try their lemon chicken, good flavours. Recommended joint with a gang of buddies!
A great place for Drinks!!!
Love the place!!! Have very fond memories there from my wife's and mine dating days as well as our youngsters party. The place has more focus on the outdoor section but they do have a small indoor section as well for those who cannot stand the Mumbai heat. The drinks are reasonably priced, the service is efficient, the food is more focused on bar snacks which are very okay; I feel that they should focus on improving their bar snacks as wtf is a place to enjoy some drinks with starters. This will really help the place stand out.
A lively open air pub!
Versova's favorite hangout. Come here to lose yourself in a super relaxed ambience and drink and talk away for hours. The kind of place where it is difficult not to have a good time. You will see most tables filled with groups of people lost in their conversations and fun. One of them might even be a movie or a TV star. It's an easy choice when you are in the area. There are hardly any alternatives, but it doesn't matter, because WTF does the job and does it well!
A good place to hangout
]: If you are ever looking for a place where you want to lose yourself completely and have fun, the place is WTF. The ambiance is so fascinating that you feel you have come to a totally different place. Even though the arrangements are a little congested, it doesnt matter after a couple of drinks. The place is packed with groups of friends just chilling out, laughing, screaming and chanting the lyrics to the loud played songs. The service is really fast. The food is good; however the quantity of the food served is quite less. The rates are the same as compared to any such fancy restaurants. Overall, its a well maintained place, for its fast moving crowd. I would recommend the moctails and drinks during their happy hours is a must. The platters are good.

Worst Experience Ever!!!
We friends happened to visit the place on a Thursday , was recommended by a good friend. We were pretty comfortable with the place, its ambiance and crowd. The worst of the place was its drinks and food. Over priced and pathetic. The food menu is just not enough, barely 20 odd dishes to choose from. Cocktails are really overpriced- A Martini- 350 + taxes whereas a Margarita- 437+ taxes. Food is really spicy and horrible in taste as well as the portion size. The non-veg platter was horrific with kebabs uncooked and pale. A naan pizza kind of experimental starter was the worst one could ever try.
Stay away if you don't intend to put a Big hole in your pocket. You will have so many better places in the same vicinity to go for.

Hey! We are so sorry for your not so good experience! Please visit us again, soon, to give us a chance to improvise.
Do call me, Prashant Pallath - 9967893416.
It makes you say anything but WTF :)
One of the most amazing places with the best "crowd"....the place has a great vibe to it and the drinks and the snacks...are reasonably priced for the ambience and the versova location. I like the service here....most of the guys providing service are energetic and serve with a smile...I like the chicken chilly and the wtf burger platter they serve and I like the long island ice tea... as well...The dj belts peppy numbers , the alcohol reaches the head and then....you go high....but mind you the place can get crowded as its very popular and congested on peak nights...Neverthless...great place to hang out at....

Dont Fall for the Name
WTF! or What The Food! is a small Bolly-Wolly joint in Versova with a lively ambiance, reasonable pricing, but slightly over-rated food. Ive been here a couple of times and have seen some celebrities around; Ranbir Shorey & Shudhir Mishra to be precise. If youre a struggling model/actor/actress, this can be a place for you. Their name - What The Food! might have you thinking that they serve some great food, but dont fall for that trap. Last time I was there, I tried the WTF! fries, which was a lame version of McDs Piripiri fries. I also tried the Kerela beef and Korgi pork. The pork and beef were not fresh at all, so sticking with chicken might be a good idea. They have recently introduced a tava which is by far the best thing that has happened to WTF!s food. If spicy meat is your thing, some tava made baida roti and chicken rolls are bound to satiate your appetite. Apart from the food, another attraction here are the Karaoke nights which are held every Tuesday. All in all, a good place to visit if youre looking for some fun. A regular night here for two will cost you about 1000 bucks including alcohol.

Wow! Short and sweet! Thank you :)
Had been to WTF last week for the Ixigo Mumbai meetup. Cool place to hang out, nice (bit too dark) ambiance. The Veg starters like Jalapeno poppers, Chili Cheese pakodas, Mumbai vada pav (who can beat the road-side stalls) were just average or below. I was particularly impressed by the Chicken Kebab sandwich which was out of the world. Drinks were a bit expensive, but the Madh Island Ice Tea is quite an innovation to tickle a Mumbaikar.

Hey! Glad you liked the Madh Island Iced Tea! Hope to see you soon.
Perfect place if you live near Versova !!
Perfect place to chill with friends, over a few drinks and some light food bcoz if you are going to WTF, dont go here looking for dinner sort of thing !! This outlet has an indoor section that is air-conditioned, with loud, pop-style music. The outdoor section is much quieter, nicer, cafe-style with a better selection of music. I always sitting outside, especially on the huge, long wooden tables !!! It is mostly crowded and the prices are not high but the menu is very limited !!
A wow place
Although I have been hearing about WTF for a long time, I could not visit it due to several reasons. However, on Sat, boredom prompted me and other real good friend of mine to visit WTF and we were blown by the place. We arrived at 9 30 pm and it was jammed packed. We were asked to wait but then a waiter asked you can get a table inside. So we went inside to sit. The music was mind-blowing. I was really impressed with ambiance and food was really *cant find the right words*. The sri lankan beef and kheema pav were wow. We wanted to hang in for more however it was getting crowded and we had to vacate the table at 11 .30. Although we had to wait for long time for the order but the wait for the food was worth it. I would be visiting this place more often henceforth. WTF made me realize that Mumbai nitelife is much better than Bangalore or Delhi.
Started our evening with WTF, had a wonderful time with friends, place is well priced, very friendly staff, place has a very good vibe, then at around 11.30pm we wanted to take it to the next level, we left from wtf & continued our session at Kino108, to our surprise most people from wtf moved to kino108, we had such a good time here as well & we danced happily ever after!
Nice place, but a little crowded.
WTF! is a massive crowd puller. Always jam-packed, bustling, loud music and people having conversations at the top of their voice. Ambience is average, but it has a nice feel-good vibe to it.
It's a nice place to go with friends for a drink, or many drinks for that matter. But it's a little too noisy and chaotic for my taste. I'd go there early evening and have a nice time with friends.
What i like about the place is that 1)It's on the less-expensive side. 2) They have yummy munchies 3) They play decent music.
They're cocktails are pretty decent, though they can be better. So, let's talk about the Muchies to go with your poision.
1) MEAN ASS CHICKEN CHILLY.
2) KERALA BEEF
3) CHILLY CHEESE TOAST
4) WTF KEBAB
Go there if you dont mind a noisy place or shouting on the top of your voice like an Indian on a long distance phone call. hahaha!
HAPPY EATING! :)
great food music service
if looking for a fn nite out with friends .. where u dont wanna spend too much on alcohol.. WTF is the place to be.. with tuesday nites as karaoke nites .. book ur tableearly and enjoy .. the masala fries are great .. even the sri lankan beef is very tasty ,jalapeno poppers .. eventhe kheema pav is to die for.. the music and ambience are excellent .. a must visit place if in the burbs
Just like their name!
If its only about cheap alcohol People might as well start drinking in their houses or something because you'll end up drinking a lot at this place piling up your bill and also you'll eat some really bad food. really, who messes with fries? well WTF does n pretty badly. in fact all of our food order including Kheema pao, burger, crispy veg eveyrhtin was plainly bad! its like stone throw away from my house but i'll always skip now on.
Been their yesterday with friends and to my shock was refused entry for no apparent reason........we could easily make out the attitude was arrogant and biased . Note have been here several times before both at bandra and andheri joints but have never seen this arrogance esp towards their regular customers. Shame on u and just feel pity , u are sure going to go downhill.
The Only Option
I'm a regular at WTF and have now come to realise that the biggest reason for its success is probably that its the only place of its kind in that area... first mover advantage!!! The prices are great, the drinks are regular and the food is great but the damn place feels like a Virar Local! I love the place but I hate that its overcrowded.
P.S.: Do try their beef preparations... they are awesome!
Yes and No
WTF has changed the way Andheri especially Versova and Lokhandwala spend their evenings. And given it's popularity it's no surprise that getting a table on the weekends is a nightmare. If you can ignore the whole "Virar local" syndrome and the hawks surrounding your table waiting for you to pay the bill scoot (that is of course, if you are the lucky ones with the table), it's a great place for a chilled out evening.
Great value for money with booze being extremely well-priced (read: sasta!!!) do make sure you pig out on the french fries and the Sri Lankan beef preparation.
Seriously... WTF is wrong with WTF, Versova!!
I had been waiting to check out WTF Versova since a long time as I had heard a lot about it. I have been to WTF, Khar and it was a pleasant experience but the Versova WTF was just plain disappointing....
To start of with, a couple of weeks back I had been there on a saturday evening with a few guy friends and we were denied entry due to the lack of a female companion. This was a little shocking but the experience sort of raised expectations about how good this place might be.
Yesterday, I went there with friends.. In terms of ambience its pretty ok.. BTW.. Dirty yellow umbrellas hanging on the ceiling in the outside area is not bohemian looking.. its just gross! Other than that.. the decors are pretty decent..
Personally I ordered a long island iced tea and a martini... The long island iced tea was strictly ok and the martini had an odd pungent flavor that me or my friends cudnt digest... the only enjoyable part of the martini were the olives..
I must comment that of the food we ordered.. the teriyaki sausages were quite good (worth trying out) the jalapeno poppers were decent but the srilankan beef was chewy and difficult to swallow..
Until now things were ok but the shock came later... when the waiter got the bill when we hadnt requested it and then came to our table twice asking (not requesting) us to pay up! This infuriated us for sure and we ended up giving him a piece of our mind...
If the management doesnt improve its service.. its going to lose out on audiences! Now I would rather goto Indigo cafe, Alfredos or someplace likewise to have a good time.. The western suburbs have many places to go for a nice time and WTF Versova just doesnt make the cut...
No offense about the place, the ambiance or its food. But it seems that the brand WTF, who has made itself decently prominent in its space has lost all its hospitality. I had visited the place on a pleasant Friday evening at around 7 00 pm with my friend just to have a chilled beer while working on my laptop. Very few tables were occupied at that time & most of them were reserved for customers from 8 30 pm onwards for dinner. We were nicely guided to a table for 2 that was so small...can be best described as a miniature/dwarf table, looks cute in its own way. Keep one medium sized plate & the entire table gets covered. I politely asked them whether we could shift to some other table as i may not be able to work on my laptop & that there are plenty of them unoccupied (tat included table for 2 or more). They clearly said NO. I requested them that Ill need it for an hour or so. But no means no....i was asked that if u want a bigger table you can sit inside.....it sounded very unpleasant and rude of them which made me walk off the place immediately & they cared damn abt it .Awesome ...WTF You need to greet your customers warmly with a welcoming smile & should try to accommodate them comfortably ..i dont think so I would be visiting it ever However, others might have had good experience in there ..& therefore I would not recommend anyone that its good or bad ..but personally .I had a bad experience ..Burrp Rocks BTW !!!!!!
WTF!!! ur a Star!!!!!!!
All credits!!! to the management ,

Food Pricing: 5/5
My friends and I (total of 14) visited this resto-bar on Saturday18th June. Listed under is our experience explicitly detailed.
When we called to make reservations, we were indeed surprised that they refused to give us a table for 14 on knowing there are just 2 girls -- Shocking! Were not staying the night @ your restaurant; just a few hours. Theres no concept of privacy either, which makes me wonder why in the world would they hang such a ridiculous rule?
Ambience: The place has dim lights, good (wooden) décor, ceiling fans and definitely spacious. The AC section is inside (we were sitting in the lounge area) and it is considerably small and was over flowing with drunks. No complains here. Just wondering why theyd accommodate about 200 people and keep just 2 washrooms (1 for men, and the other for women). Now theres where I had a problem. I saw puke in the sink when I walked into the loo. Please keep your housekeeping team on their toes all through working hours. As for the music, hip-hop was played inside, the lounge had techno tracks played but too soft. For about a good 20 minutes or so in between there wasnt anything played.
Service: The waiters were delightful to talk to. All young lads, energetic to the brim and great communication (thankfully in English) skills.
Food Quality: Nothing exceptional. But they tailored the flavors to our palates. Loves the spices!
Food Quantity: We were pretty surprised that the quantity definitely was well over what we predicted. Theyre very generous with their servings and the meats were perfectly cooked.
Pricing: The food we ordered ranged from 150/- to 250/- nothing more except for prawns that was for about 320/- or so. The bill came to about 18000/- but that included all the meals and the drinks we ordered for.
In all, we had a great time as the alcohol kept flowing (which I must say, is really expensive) and we were a good lot of 14.
Dont come here as a couple, youll be lost. Good place to hang out at with a bunch of friends though. Dress well! The place crowds quick so make reservations please.
Befits young blood
Wait a minute! Dont go by the name of the restaurant, its no acronym. The name of the restaurant is Another Drop (WTF!), widely known as WTF! Their naming strategy could probably be their USP which clicks well among young masses. Its one of the most sought after hang-out areas in town. Please note, this resto is not meant for family crowds, its mostly visited by the rich young populace.
Its got a pubbish environment where the place is dark and gloomy with loud music playing and a huge television screen glaring musical concerts. The sitting area outside looks like any crowded college canteen where youngsters are fagging and boozing all their way to glory (but not drunk). Its difficult to find an empty table moreover theres no place to walk. Honestly speaking, the aura feels like hell because it looks more or less like a pub, the only difference being i've noticed no dance floor. But let me make it clear that the crowd is decent; its not unsafe hanging out here.
Well, I chose to sit in the inside area because its more decent, air-conditioned, less crowded and no smoking area. Please note that WTF only serves starters and hard & soft drinks. Their service is quick. The personnel here is efficient and well groomed. The best mock tail is the Kiwi & Green Mango costing Rs.100 which is absolutely refreshing and my favorite drink. Virgin Mary costing Rs.100 is below satisfactory, the sweet-pungent mix is too harsh on my palate. One put-off is you have to pay for drinking water which costs Rs.35 for bottled water.
Lets talk food now! The menu is divided into veg and nonveg where the non veg section is tagged as MES (Meat Eater Synonymous). Ive tried nearly all the items on the menu barring pork. So I begin with WTF Prawns Rs.185 which consists of around 10-12 medium sized fried prawns with a crispy coat, its good but it tastes like a homemade item. The Spicy Fish Fingers Rs.175 is the best item on the menu, its 5-6 finger longed shaped soft fish meat sticks served along with mayo. The burning hot, crispy and soft fish tastes so good to the palate. Your visit to WTF will be in vain if you dont try it out. You cannot miss this fish!
Well theres lot more coming on my table! So here comes my lovely WTF chicken kabab Rs.170 which consists of 5 medium sized chicken pieces, the chicken is perfectly cooked with flavors intact. According to me this is the second best item in the house. Mean ass chicken chilli Rs.170 tastes pretty Chinese with capsicum and onions tossed in chicken pieces, the dish is good enough. Chicken crostini Rs.150 is like chicken salad on bread slices, the flavor of the Italian herbs is fresh but bland. Jesses Kerala beef Rs.160 consists of moderately spiced small pieces of roasted beef with strong coconut flavors with good quantity and is stomach filling.
The best part about WTF is that the prices of the food are pocket friendly. I believe their strategy of only serving starters and good drinks at an affordable price is what makes it a happening hangout zone.
My rating for WTF is:
Value for money 8/10
Nice decor , reasonable Rates
Went there last night and was pleasantly surprised by the "un-pub" feel to it. we couldnt get a spot outside so had to sit inside for a bit. The rates for the drinks were reasonable at 100 bucks for a small bacardi / vodka , and the mixes are free. Also .. not much food to choose from , but they do have some nice starters. The best part is the open air area which is almost always packed. Loved the place and would definitely go visit again.
As free as a bird...
This place has no rules, no process.. completely the way one would like to spend a saturday evening after a hectic week at work. The staff is cordial and they help you with a smiling face, but you have to call for them.. nobody will greet you on the entrance, very very casual. Its over crowded though. You just walk in.. first grab a drink and then look for a place. Im completely in love with WTF. If you havent planned your weekend.. head to wtf and you will never be dissapointed.
Crowded but still good
WTF is finally in seven bungalows too!!..It was surprisingly overcrowded whenever i went there and it does get a bit claustrophobic but i guess that can be overlooked as long as long as your having a good time. The food is above average and the service fluctuates between below average to almost good.Guess i can blame it on the excessive crowd though
The place was packed when we entered....nobody bothered to greet us at the entrance or get us a table....went to the bar area and managed to get some place to stand, the place was buzzing but i suggest can do much much better on the service front....tried the starters were average, if the music outside was a bit louder would have been good, overall a nice place to hangout with friends and grap a drink or 2 before you head out to some other place to let your hair down.
am surprised by the reviews, as i went alone last night before friends arrived, & wasnt stopped... saw some groups of guys there, too
however, if they do have a no stags policy, that's too bad, as i was planning to go someday with guy friends, too
service was decent, & liked that the place was buzzing with crowd even on a tuesday night
wish they had some healthier options for snacks... also, some guys were openly smoking at the place... that should be stopped completely
overall, a decent alternative to on toes in juhu, & a much-needed casual pub at versova... hate firangi paani, & cant always visit indigo... (as long as they dont discriminate against groups of guys...!)
glad shatranj's gone
WTF managers please stand up
Hi, I hope some owner or manager of WTF do read this... coz its something serious, as i am sure WTF has no policy as to NO STAGS allowed (coz many stags were enjoying there) , just coming up with such a policy (ONCE U HAVE ENOUGH CROWD) and not allowing Potential Customer is not a good practice. Its just DISCRIMINATION!!
As a restro owner which is open to PUBLIC u cant discriminate whom you let in and whom you dont!!
WTF is true to its name WAT THE FUCK!!!
The management seems to make sure when you leave this place you do say WTF!!!
I came to know of this place from one of my elder friends who said during his college days WTF was in bandra and well know for CHEAP BOOZE and GOOD CROWD...
So i along with couple of my friends decided to check it out on Tuesday and it was quite buzzing with Crowd...
However then the shocker, one DUDE kinda UNCLE was standing at the entrance and TOLD us NO STAGS PLEASE!!!
WTF, its a bloody Fucking PUB, and the best part when my friend pointed out he could see many STAGS sitting in, that DOOR MAN answered saying MAYBE NO ONE WAS AT DOOR WHEN THEY ENTERED!!!WTF
Then he offered he would let us in if we 3 guys were even with a single GIRL, coz they wanted to maintain BALANCE..
I WONDER HOW WILL THEY KEEP BALANCE ONCE THE CROWD STARTS DRYING UP..
Drinks - ok range of beers and spirits at affordable prices. The cocktails were very hit and miss - some were too sweet and some were too sour, so maybe the bartenders are still developing the recipies.
Food - no mains, just starters. The range is ok and the prices are fairly low but the portions are also small.
Service - The individual waiters work hard and are very friendly and accomodating, however the attitute of the management is terrible. After spending Rs.4500 on drinks and food, the manager asked as to leave, because "this isn't costa coffee", you can't just sit here. If you are not spending money then you should leave. I pointed out how much we had already spent but he said that "it was only a small bill". Amazingly, the bar wasn't full and there were other empty tables, and no one was waiting to take our seats.
None of my friends will be going back there. The reason poptates is always busy and the other resturants in the area are often empty is because they provide an atmosphere for regulars to relax. They definetely don't ask you to leave as soon as your glass is empty.
What a Shame, WTF
