Grand place

Was here one evening with a couple of friends. What got us here was the sheer amount of praises lavished on Yauatcha by our friends. We commenced our meal here with two tea-infuse cocktails, Lalu and Cha la lai - befitting names for the tea house that it is. We preferred the Lalu over the Cha la lai, however both were good in their own respects. We savoured the Shitake mushroom dumpling and chicken char sui bun for appetizers. Honey smoked spare ribs and braised chicken with mushroom in clay pot made up the main course. It was sensational. The best Chinese/oriental food we had ever eaten. For dessert we opted for the jasmine tea cake. A luscious dessert that came along with a double bonanza of honey comb ice cream and chocolate sauce.
P.S: Be prepared to foot a mighty bill, for the dishes here are priced quite upwardly.

Located at Raheja Tower, BKC; its hip-casual in its style; lively-fun; and everything you would want from a place that could accomodate a family or romatic night out. Best of all - it will probably pinch your wallet half as much as its elder sibling Hakkasan. The ambiance is comfortable, elegant, and understated. Although it is a rather large restaurant, noise is well controlled. We ordered a wide variety of dim sum items, soups, and entrees. Delivery of all items was well timed, and every dish was excellent. Each plate was well presented and perfectly prepared. Scallop Shumai - great. Prawn Chive dumplings - very nice

Yautcha..A thumbs down

Hey people.
We had a bad dining experience at Yautcha. Food taste and quality is highly ok. Ambience is below the mark. There is no fine dining experience at all. The service is poor. We specifically told the waiter that we want a dish with adequate gravy but the dish he suggested was completely dry. After complaining, there is a dry response from him. They don't have any idea of the ingredients in the dishes. Overall it was highly sad

Theft Alert!

Finished my super meal at Yauatcha and decided to visit the ladies washroom before leaving. The lady attendant told me that i was not allowed to take my purse in the cubicle(weird) as it was their policy. Thinking it might really be an absurd policy I decided to comply with it and left my purse near the basin area. Once i got out i checked my purse only to find my money missing! I was almost stunned how it could have jusr vanished. I started arguing with the attendant as to why she did not look after it , since she asked me to leave it outside. After hearing a string on excuses i decided to call the manager. We got her frisked but obviously she turned out to be smarter than us!!
Luckily the manager was helpful enough and reimbursed the sum that was missing.
That being said inam shocked at how a reputed restaurant can have such lousy careless unethical staff members. Will definately have to think twice before coming here again now!
Absolutely disgusted and angry!

Valentine's Day Menu

Some days are special and of course some meals as well... on a special day of love decided to visit Yauatcha Mumbai for a hearty valentine's special meal..
Being quiet a foodie I am, like to reach the place quiet early... was there at 7:30pm...
The restaurant was ready and for my surprise buzzing with people from all age group.
The reservations very tight being a valentine's day ... got my table in 10mins.
The atmosphere at the restaurant was chic, buzzing, smart interiors
Then came the server sohan, who took our orders and served us drinks
food was absolutely amazing.... every dim sum I ate I realized how much i can love Chinese food... to be frank i m not a very big fan of Chinese food until.. Yauatcha came by way.... great texture, prominent ingredient; smooth is the word for it...
Chive dumplings are to die for...
Again my husband indulged in truffle edamame dumpling truly ecstatic...
Then came cheung Fun - three style mushroom & crispy vegetable.... my fav. was mushroom one 4 various reasons like loves mushroom & their creation was great and was smooth texture.
Their main course was to amazing too, but the best part was their desserts raspberry delice & chocolate hazelnut mousse...
They place serves awesome non vegetarian food. :)
I would rate it 8 out of 10 :)
Good work
keep it up :)

Dimsum

The restaurant is located at BKC. This place has one of the best dim sums in bombay. A must try is the edamame dumpling its definitely one of my favourite dishes there and i always order it. They a great variety in Veg dim sums that make your mouth water. Do try their turnip cake... service is quick and the staff is very helpful. I did try the cocktails and mocktails both were made really well. the food may be a little expensive but for a date or family dinner its a place one should always try.

amazing ambience as you enter.
when you start you are asked whether you want stilled or sparkling water, you are charged for both which they don't mention, even water is not free. 160 rs for stilled water. i called for crystal dumplings very nice. most of the food here is sticky.
i even called for sticky rice which had a burst of mixed flavours, quantity is very less.
overall good experience ,ambience, crowd, hospitality, space.

Aromas and Flavors of China!

Yauatcha in BKC is a trendy, inviting place for Chinese food lovers like me! The cool and stylish interiors are decorated with Chinese patterns that are subtle and beautiful. I love to lounge in the cool, blue-lit dining area where I can spend some quiet moments on my own, simply taking in the atmosphere or hang out with my friends too. The restaurant is very pleasant and the place also boasts of a lovely fish tank that only adds to the charm. But for me, the food is of prime importance and Yauatcha scores very high in that aspect. It offers an array of genuine Chinese fare which retains the flavours of the dish by using the minimum condiments and maximum expertise. Their various teas always have me confused for choice since all of them have their distinct flavors. The main course too has a wide variety to choose from. I always order the dimsum platter which has different types of dimsum, made to perfection. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian sections have plenty of delicacies to choose from, so for every visit, you can always try something new. Generally, the Emperor’s Fried Rice is a one-dish-meal I love to indulge in since it combines the fish, veggies and chicken bringing out the distinct flavors of each. To round up, is my staple fruit platter. I relish every moment I spend here, every time I come.

The final word for Chinese cuisine!

As a group of young professionals we barely get time to catch up with one another .But when we do the choice is unanimous that is Yauatcha at the BKC! The wonderful ambience and the absolutely authentic Chine fare never fails to blow us away! The lush greenery outside the restaurant is another eye-soother and so are the blow-you-away interiors. We almost always opt for the wide variety of Chinese teas to start with, finding it difficult to choose between the Jasmine, Oolong and the other iced teas. The welcoming and courteous staff too is a pleasure to interact with. They guide us deftly into choosing some of the most delectable dim sums which have quite a number of fillings to opt from whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian.
Visitors have more than fifty varieties of dim sums to pick from. The regulars on the menu like soups and noodles too offer an impressionable variation and everyone in our group has his or her own favourite. The Pak Choi is a personal favourite and so are the dim sums which are delicately made and served in elegant bamboo containers. A wide array of desserts too always entices us what with the myriad gateaux and tarts. We always lose track of time once we have gathered at Yauatcha mainly because of the soothing lighting, the soft and cosy seating and of course the food which is to die for!

Fine Dine Big NO

Bagful of disappointments, nothing to cheer about, place being located in BKC, deserted on Sunday evening, Receptionist failed to provide the directions, have to make lot of efforts to get the attention of the staff, Ordered Dim Sim and Soup, staff insisting for main course order also Udipi Style attitude. Got the Dim Sim and Soup on our table, before we could start our bite, staff again asking for order and Time is 10pm.
Dim Sims were good but not worth the price, soup was just ok. Main course of Noddles and Three Treasure Veg was pathetic so say the least. They claim it as fine Dine place, in spite of having so many seating very close to each other, too much of loud laughter and high decibel talking. Very very ordinary place, i believe dishes being prepared by just tossing in their sauces 10% service charge and NO sight of Service at all. I think i have committed the big crime by visiting this place. Very expensive and nothing to cheer about. No food Quality, No Ambiance Absolute Nothing except felling self pity.

The destination for delectable Oriental cuisine

Globetrotting and being a foodie has its perks. As an ardent traveler and with a hereditary liking for exploring different cuisines, I have always been unafraid to try a variety of native foods. This very quality has made me a connoisseur among my friends and family, and also somewhat of an expert at spotting authentic flavors. Take my word for it, Yauatcha is one experience of savoring genuine Chinese cuisine. We fell in love with the modern, sophisticated layout. My family and I are always gung-ho about oriental cuisine and this extensive array raised our bar of expectations, which was already perched high up there, thanks to the ambience. The exotic, dizzying menu swept us off our feet. My sister and I are big fans of dumplings, so that obviously had to be on our order. We chose the shiitake mushroom dumplings after an eternity of mulling over the bountiful of options, and trust me, it was worth it. The texture and the softness of the cover, the freshness of the mushrooms was just the perfect combination. Apart from that, we called for Grilled Tiger Prawn, a scrumptious fare indeed. Emperor’s seafood fried rice was a bona fide regal dish. After that lip-smacking meal, we needed to top it off with some fanciful dessert. My dad was a bit apprehensive since not many oriental gourmet destinations offer good dessert options, but Yauatcha bowled us over. The Jasmine tea cake and chocolate hazelnut mousse were unquestionably divine. I would recommend this place for anyone who seeks a truly Chinese gastronomic experience. Don’t miss out on their exclusive selection of teas too!

Good Food, Bad service

Before I start my review let me tell you that I am not one of those up-nose reviewers who is extremely sensitive about every little thing. On the contrary I am quite okay with letting small things go. I have lived in New York City for two years and enjoyed some of the best restaurants in the world. With that let me begin my review:

1. This is NOT a Michelin starred restaurant - there are some places on the internet which say so. But this restaurant does not have a Michelin star - their other location in London has one and Michelin star is specific to every restaurant - its not for the chain.

2. The food was very good, though I would not say it was worth the price - I have had similar or better food in other places. The truffle and mushroom dumplings are excellent.

3. They have a good selection of cocktails and you should definitely try the Nama Bay.

4. Bad Service #1: The couches in this place are extremely uncomfortable - the table is very high and I am 5' 8" which is the average for most Indian men. I requested them to provide me a different table since I was uncomfortable on the couch - the waiter asked the manager and he flatly refused. This was when 80% of the tables were unoccupied (and they were unoccupied until the time we left the restaurant)

5. Bad Service #2: The waiter brings my wife's cocktail and says some other name - so I looked at him with confused eyes and he tells me "Its the name of the cocktail" as if I am some illiterate idiot who can't read the names or remember them. Then when I categorically asked him whether it was Nama Bay, he realized his mistake and with a sheepish smile said yes it was.

6. Bad Service #3: We had specifically ordered chicken for me and fish for my wife. But when they got the food, they started serving and for a minute while my attention was somewhere else, they smothered my rice with the fish and I hate fish. When you have a restaurant that charges Rs. 600-800 per main course, you expect a certain level of service and you expect the waiter to remember who ordered what.

7. Bad Service #4: While I was trying to remove the fish from my plate and talking to the waiter, I get suddenly mobbed by another waiter who has come with my drink and doesn't think it is necessary to wait while the earlier mess gets sorted and kept asking me while talking over the other waiter, how many ice cubes. That was the final nail on my review of this place.

I absolutely hated the service.

Wonderful tea along with a side order of good con

Delectable and sumptuous are just some of the words that I would use to describe the food presented at Yauatcha. My mother-in-law and I had a great time here sipping onto some diverse kinds of tea. Our favourites were Strawberry and Vanilla iced tea and Dragon’s Well Green Tea. It was an unforgettable experience and this Michelin starred restaurant sets a great example in terms of different aspects of hospitality. This visit was certainly not a last one.

A date to remember

My boyfriend and I had a fine dining experience at Yauatcha. It was something that will remain etched in my mind for a considerable period of time. The lip smacking Dimsums and Chicken hot and sour soup were the highlights of our meal. The incorporation of artistic elements from the Chinese culture took the experience to another level altogether. I would certainly visit this Michelin starred restaurant once again.

Loved Yauatcha!!

I had to attend a business meeting at Yauatcha in their private dining room and it was brilliant. We had a set menu which was specially designed for us. A variety of Dim sums were in the set menu and some great Oolong tea and Kashmiri Kawa with Desserts that were mind blowing. The fragrance of the tea was refreshing. It is a beautiful mix of the contemporary and traditional way of serving dim sum and tea. If you want to experience and to enjoy the authentic flavors of China, Yauatcha should be your destination.

Sum Yum Dim Sum

My definition of an awesome evening; a few good friends, good tea and sum yum dim sum. This is what I experienced at Yauatcha. A few of my old college friends decided to meet up at this place to catch up on old times. We didn’t expect this evening to turn out into a really memorable one. All of us had different exotic teas except one of us who went with an iced tea. The dumplings, which I tried for the first time, were superb! We were at the restaurant for almost 2 hours, and we all loved every minute of it.

BEWARE - HAVE A GOOD GLIMPSE OF THE BILL

HEARD A LOT ABOUT THIS PLACE
MY FAVOURITE CHINESE RESTAURANT HAS ALWAYS BEEN CHINA GATE FOR YRS
WANTED A CHANGE
SO VISITED YAUATCHA WENT FOR DINNER .. THE PLACE IS HUGE . THE AMBIENCE IS SO MESMERISING, I WAS IN LOVE WE WERE TWO OF US
TO BEGIN WITH HEARD A LOT ABOUT THE DIM-SUMS OUT HERE
SO ORDERED HOT AND SOUR SOUP WITH SHREDDED CHICKEN , 1 BY 2 ( 325 ) AND PAK CHOI CHICKEN ( 275 ) - DIM-SUM
SOUP CAME IN 10 MINS , IT WAS YUMMY. THE DIM- SUM TOOK 30 MINS , which was crap . 3 pieces too less , but nice in taste
then ordered for MULSHI SPRINGS (160) which took 15 mins to come
for main course ordered EGG FRIED RICE (375 ) WITH LONG BEAN AND CRISPY GROUPER (450)
IT CAME QUITE FAST .
The quantity of the rice was quite disappointing it was super yummy though . Crispy grouper was looking so yum and crispy , good quantity , couldn't wait to hog on it. It was superb , sweet and chilli ..
I was done by now n really didn't have any place for deserts , huge variety to chose from.
THE GRAND FINALE
I HAVE THIS REAL GOOD HABIT OF CHECKING THE BILL, BE IT ANYWHERE
Many get bugged with this habit OF MINE , but at times it's really useful
i checked the bill ,BILL CAME TO 2530 INCLUSIVE OF EVERYTHING . Fortunately i have a good memory and realised the crispy grouper is 450 and they have billed 750 for it
Immediately i called for the Menu to recheck my Elephants Memory :0
AND YIPPY I WAS right
The the menu took another 10 minutes to come,The waiter named Lokesh Kadam was hesitating in giving the menu,
Whatever, I checked and asked to call the Manager
The manager says 'WE WILL RECTIFY IT " How strange , he has to .. This was so creepy .
He makes another Bill ( which was 1714, SVC CHG 148.50 and SVC TAX 80.75 ) and doesn't add the GROUPER , and in another Bill he puts THREE STYLE MUSHROOM CHEUNG FUN -450
WHAT THE HELL , THE MANAGER HAD NO EXPLANATION FOR THIS
My friend questioned him again , he replied " Sorry Sir, system error and i failed as a Manager " lol this was funny
Anyways everything GOOD ABOUT THIS PLACE , BUT YES DO CHECK THE BILL that's if u have a good memory

Feast Fare!

Went to Yauatcha last week with my colleagues and had a mouthwatering feast. One of my favorite dishes was the braised chicken with mushroom in clay pot. Exquisite and enjoyable dim sums, the shitake mushroom dumpling is a must have. This Chinese dim sum tea house is heaven on earth. This place is something apart from other restaurants. Yauatcha- remains the city's best Chinese

Yauatcha was a place I hadn't visited in a while and was looking forward to see if it had retained the magic! It certainly has! The decor remains the finest! The food is brilliant and the staff very hospitable! We tried the crystal dumplings with a salad which were elevated by the sauces served! The fried rice with okra was the real winner though! We were in the mood to experiment and it paid off! Don't miss out on the desserts! Exquisite stuff!!!!

Loved the Food at Yauatcha!!

I and my husband have been avid travelers and when we came to Mumbai, we were suggested to go to Yauatcha. I had heard of the restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food was splendid; the edamame dumpling definitely lives up to its name.
But the best part was the number of teas at the restaurant; the manager was kind enough to speak of the pairing of tea and dim sums that they do at the restaurant.
I loved the blue tea, oolong, definitely one of the best I’ve ever had and surprisingly they went so well with the dim sum offered, I will definitely recommend this place! Go check it out.

I would rather just burn my money !!

Although food is somewhat an attempt at modern oriental cuisine, it is not worth the amount that they charge for it. And to top it, the quantity is so less. Mumbai has far better options for oriental and asian cuisine.

A wonderful dining experience!

Yauatcha has a casual ambience with separate individual dining rooms. The staff is very courteous and friendly. They know "their" food well and are an expert at recommendations - that was my experience at Yauatcha! My personal favourites are the turnip cakes with veggies and the mock duck. I simply loved their passion fruit iced tea - it comes with "real" passion fruit and is very flavourful and delicious. Its the best Iced tea I have had until date! Their pricing is slightly on the higher side but worth the money. Also, one must be careful while ordering and not over-order as they don't pack left over food for take away-its against the restaurant policy!

A valet's dream come true

Before I mention about the place the Valets here need a special mention.
Not only are they dressed in their best but also they park the best.
Its a rare occasion for them to park a Korean car and an even rarer occasion to park a Maruti. These guys are very used to Bimmers, Mercs and Audis.
Immediately on entering the first level the first thing that greets you the huge bar.
Arrangements have been made to sit a the bar and also a few high seating tables near the bar.
The service here is quite horrible. Its not just the time the Servers take to attend to you but their callous attitude towards almost everyone.
I think they expect to serve only the Ambanis and Mittals and we mere mortals are just riff raff for them. So expect not to be insulted but ignored!
You would be forgiven if you thought you have entered a night club or a disc because not only is the ambiance such but also the music playing is quite loud.
The food is excellent but portions are quite meagre.
The ‘Pan Fried Turnip Cake’, a dim sum is definitely a must try.
We ordered a repeat of the same dish. The Prawn Cheng Fun we ordered was not up to the mark. Besides being bland it lacked any taste of the crispy prawn.
The cherry on the cake was the ‘Macroons’.
And not quite surprisingly they were swiped up and gobbled even before the server left our table. I would definetly not mind going here just for their ‘Macroons’.?

Best Dim Sums

It was a experience we cannot forget, the dim sums are to die for. Our first time here, we had heard a lot about the place and finally came in for dinner as we had some out of town guests. The place was packed, even on a week day. The staff was very polite and attentive, always responding the moment eye contact is made, looking to see if they are required. We were very impressed with the level of professionalism. The variety of teas on the menu are also impressive, though we went for liquor as tea is not our choice with the meal. The Dim Sums came in, very very good, The food too was very good, though the portions were small. As a result more variety was ordered and a hefty bill was the final result. I'd say worth it, was a great experience and great food.

Upscale Chinese

I had heard lots of praises about Yauatcha and really wanted to visit the place, but somehow the plans of dining there could not fructify for long due to one reason or the other. Finally, I went there with my colleagues for a treat.

We had reserved a table in advance. Upon reaching there, The hostess quickly guided us to our table. The place is done well, it is well lighted and has a refreshing feel.

I had heard that the place was supposed to be on the lines of a dim-sum house. This was evident on the menu with lots of varieties of dim-sums and teas on the menu; however, options for other courses were not at all lacking.

We started with chicken soup, which nice, hot and tangy. The bits of chicken were cooked well. This was followed by a variety of dumplings, of which the ones with prawns were exceptionally noteworthy.

We had been told that do really good seafood so we ordered seafood rice for the mains. It was a good choice as the seafood was fresh and cooked with a fine balance of spices enhancing the flavor. We also ordered for some noodles with chicken mains which was good. Dessert was skipped as we were full.

Overall it was a satisfying, good dining experience. The place is a bit expensive, but the quality more than makes up for it.

Dim sums and more:p

This Chinese restaurant at Bkc absolutely blew my mind! It's basically a dim sum and tea house but the rest of it is equally amazing! Let me warn you the portion is quite scanty(3 dumplings at 500) but the quality is exemplary! The turnip cake was amazing, so were the shitake mushroom dumplings! The desserts were outstanding! The interiors are very classy!

Brilliant dimsum

It might be an expensive place but their dimsum are worth every penny. The concept of pairing dimsum with tea is pretty interesting. Do try the crispy veg cheung fang and lamb rolls in pepper sauce. The latter is so soft that it just melts in your mouth. They have interesting looking dessert too.

RUBBISH MANAGEMENT

I would like to bring to your notice the poor representation of your restaurant by your manager Mr. Saajan Ibrahim.

He single handedly ruined my fiancee and my 31st and her birthday.

When we inquired 2 days ago about eating at your restaurant tonight, we specifically asked about MSG. But you host told us it was not used in the food. Therefore we decided to come because my fiancee is allergic to MSG.

At the restaurant your server told us it was not used in the food and only in some sauces. After eating the starters however my fiancee's allergy started and on asking again we were told that some outside sauces were used in preparing the food and that contains MSG.

So we decided not to eat the main course because we were ill informed and my fiancee started to feel unwell.

We asked the server to charge us for all that we had ordered and not the 3000+taxes new years package since we wouldn't be eating more due to miscommunication at your end.

He and Mr Sumit said they understood the problem and were sensitive to it. However this could only be authorised by Mr. Sajaan Ibrahim.

Sajaan Ibrahim came to the table, spoke loudly, arrogantly and disrespectfuly. Not only did he not hear us out but he accused us of lying about inquiring about MSG in the first place and that we did not intend to pay the bill. He also hypocritically said ALL the food contains MSG and we were stupid not to read the disclaimer in the beginning of the menu. He said he would not argue with us and walked away without listening to our problem.

In a hurry to get my fiancee medication I paid the entire amount and left looking for a chemist. Not only did our new years eve get ruined but my fiancee's birthday (1st January) was also ruined. Both Mr Sumit and our server apologised to us and agreed with our problem. Only the highly insulting Mr Ibrahim did not.

Is this the level of customer service we should expect at Yuautchua? There is no way I will let any family member or friend of mine return to your establishment. Is this the way to treat guests of your restaurant ? very appalling experience!!

Be thankful we are not considering pressing charges against your establishment.

COULD DO BETTER

Ambience: Very Good
Food: Very good, authentic modern Cantonese.
Portions: Small meagre.
Service: Poor. Requires great effort to draw the staff attention.
Restaurant seems to be in a hurry to earn money. Even after a confirmed reservation took half an hour for a table even though some of the tables were unoccupied. We were asked to wait at the bar( strategy to make you spend on the drinks since you will be at the restaurant for a longer time). Finally were seated after we protested. So beware!!
Cost: Rs 10000 for 3 pax( 5 alcoholic drinks included, 2.5 double Black labels and 2 Margaritas
NO DOGGY BAGS(FIRST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS WHICH REFUSES TO PACK THE LEFT OVERS. I AM TALKING ABOUT 52 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ACROSS OVER SIXTY COUNTRIES INCLUDING THE BEST IN THE WORLD). Not that there is much to pack in the first place with meagre portions. You have to order twice and we are not exactly big eaters.
BOTTOM LINE: RESTAURANT HAS GOOD AMBIENCE/GOOD FOOD.
REST ALL SUCKS!!

Fingers crossed!

Have been reading "bad service" reviews on Yauatcha... Dropping by tomorrow as a Big Celebration night. I hope the place doesn't disappoint and lives up to the hype it got going for itself. Shall post detailed comments on the Dinner tomorrow. Till then Fingers Crossed! (Rating given is average thus far)

Good ambience & good food... but...

The 3 stars given is purely for the ambiance and the food... although I found the taste a bit more Westernised than Indianised (read bland food). Being a Vegetarian, I had very few options, with just one rice option and a couple of noodle options, which I still thought was fine, but even the non veg options were limited considering the crowd that comes here. The ambience and the crowd of the place will tell straight away that this is not an average everyday place and is pure fine dining (A meal for 2 without alcohol is easily 2000, so yeah its pricey!). The schezwan tofu I ordered was by far the softest that I have ever eaten. My husband and our friends loved the pork that they had ordered. The desserts looked like they were straight out of a Masterchef episode. We had the jasmine tea cake and milk chocolate praline, both were very good.
Having said this, the service was simply appalling. We had ordered for a table and were told that its a 2 hour slot, within which we could come and when we did arrive, we were made to wait for about 20 mins for our table, since we arrived "late". When we got to our table we found a few tables around us empty. We had to wait for the menu card, wait for the order to be taken and wait for starters, which I was told later that it had to be double cooked so would take time (wouldnt have ordered it in the first place if I knew). I mean, seriously, for a place visited by celebrities and the elite, your service really needs to be looked at. And which restaurant doesnt change plates from starters to main course? Being a private place, they charge you for the valet parking. For a restaurant of this stature, this gesture looked petty to me. Also, when we got our car, to leave, our car was stinking all over, no idea what happened there!
Overall, this is a great place for Chinese food, with an ambience that had fine dining written all over it, but let down completely by terrible service & a whole lot of miscommunication.

pricey but worth it

the lovely and expansive interiors beckon you when you enter. this is an expensive place but not prohibitively so ..
great for the huge dimsum range.. scallop and prawn ones are great. the pork belly main is a winner.
Try the macaroons(matcha, blue berry, and much more) from the takeaway counter packed prettily albeit slowly, and pack their caramel and chocolate dessert.. its yum. and their golden pagoda one is famous too!. in fact all their desserts at the counter and droolworthy and you pay a lot less for them at the counter for takeaway than when you order them upstairs!
Expect to pay over 4 k for a meal for 2 sans alcohol

Beware of the Valets and Management Explanations!

I've been to Yauatcha a few times now. I love the food there and the dim sums are the best ever ~ personal favs are crispy prawn, spinach prawn roll and regular chicken and prawm sumai. I've tried all the deserts and they're all amazing! The staff definitely needs to be more polished and better communicators.

The Valet service is the worse I've ever seen. The Valet charges INR 30 when he takes your car and I gave a INR 100 note and was told he'll give back 70 when I leave as he didn't have change. After my meal, I forgot to take the money and the Valet conveniently forgot to give it. This has happened twice to me so I'm assuming this is "Standard Operating Procedure". For the kind of money one shells out at Yauatcha, this is a negligible amount but for a restaurant of this quality and reputation, this is shameful.

I spoke with the GM of the restaurant and he told me that because a different person takes my car and a different person parks and returns my car hence this happens. I found this ridiculous. With the same logic, I should never get the bags I check-in for a flight as different people check me in, put my bags and remove my bags.

The management is very defensive and not open to admitting mistakes and hence the restaurant will not improve because of arrogance and aggression. The overall customer experience is so important and the management doesn't seem to take that into account.

An average experience :-/

I'd been there few days ago to celebrate my birthday. I'd reserved the table one week in advance over phone. They didn't ask if we were celebrating any special occasion; I didn't bother to tell them either.

It has been stated in reviews here before - valet parking is charged which is strange for a place of this class. You'd tip the valet anyway so money is not the issue but still...

The ambience is pleasant enough with seating in a high ceilinged room. The tables are oval which reduces the space available on them.

Chinese tea is charged by the pot, which is again unusual for a place like this. The choice is rather limited for vegetarians. We ordered Veg Crystal Dumplings & Veg Turnip cake for starters. And Veg Mabo Tofu & Spicy Rice for main course. There was only Chocolate Mousse on offer for deserts so we skipped that. Had a pot of Jasmine Tea and a Pomegranate juice for drinks. The food is quite good without being special. The portions are on the smaller side.

The service is okayish. Not the most attentive and we had to ask for the forks and knives. We also had a funny experience. I was still eating after my wife had finished. Her plate was cleared from the table along with the empty pans and pots. Surprisingly, the sauces were also all cleared from the table - while I was still eating !! That reminded me of the old Irani joints where the saucer is cleared from the table as soon as you pick the tea cup...and the tea cup is itself cleared when you keep it on the table after taking a sip :-)

Service charge @ 10% is added to the bill. I usually do not tip in such cases unless the service has been exceptional, which it wasn't in this case. Total outgo for 2 for the above dishes Rs. 2309/-. Overall, not a great experience.

Deplorable Service! Great Food!

We arrived there at 12 30 pm on a Sunday when it was almost empty. Despite that, our service was so bad that it seemed we were either at a Shiv Sagar or a Juhu Pav Bhaji Stall. By bad, i mean that the staff could barely communicate in English- some waiters looked as dumb as doormats and i felt i was talking to idiots! The hostess also seemed incredibly slow. We kept asking for our rice (which we ordered along with the other items)- apparently on an 10 seater table, it was kept on the side with its lid on, and they kept saying that they were getting it! When one of us reached out to the end of the table and saw what it was, it was the rice which they didnt serve us!

Super DUMB DUMB DUMB! When one of the guys served us our Udon, he was dropping it all over the place- i told him to immediately stop and we had someone else serve us!

The food was excellent ! Everything from the starters to the desserts- portions very small for the price- this is a sort of place that will probably do well and eventually die off after a few months unless they change their staff and hire those more trained for a 5 star setting- not Shiv Sagar style waiters.

Anyway, overall great food but terrible service ! I already knew the service would be bad going in judging from reviews, but thought id add my experience as well-

Good food, so-so service

I'm not going to get into a lot of detail, since I was quite underwhelmed and disappointed. Yauatcha offers a great fine-dining experience, but the best of restaurants woo their customers with their food and their service. Yauatcha only gets one half of that equation right. The staff was slow to take the order and even slower to deliver the bill. Disappointing, all in all, when the place strives to hopefully be not just best-in-class, but perhaps the best at what it does, namely fine dining.

Yes, the dimsums were great. Yes, the drinks were sublime (the Orange Chilly Mocktail was a blast, in more ways than one). The Rawas too was absolutely extraordinary. But when all of that is paired with slipshod service, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. The place is huge, and perhaps they do need more staff to speed up service. I'm not sold on Yauatcha, and I'm not going to slam it either. The place has massive potential, and I'm sure they can fix the issues many have highlighted on here, namely their service. The thing is I don't know if there is a will to do so. And that saddens me somewhat, because I so wanted to like Yauatcha.

Pathetic Service

This was my second visit and I was hoping it would be as pleasant as the last one. I don't know why the service was so bad, even though the place was kind of empty. We waited 40 minutes for 2 portions of Dim sums and the order was screwed up! We had to wait for another 20 minutes before we go our correct order! I didn't hear the waiting staff apologize even once - forget that, the manager saw me sitting with an angry red face but all he did was stare at me instead of coming and asking me what the matter was.

So later, the owner of TOI comes in and sits on the table right next to us - Obviously the manager had to do some major ass licking! I could not believe it when they got their food in 10 minutes!! I was so angry I would have happily thrown my food on the managers face. The managers were so shallow and pathetic. At the end of the meal I asked the manager for a comment card - but they did not have one! I expected the manager to ask me if I had some special comments but clearly he did not care.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who has self respect!! I will never go back even though the pork belly was to die for!! Its a shame but the staff has totally ruined this restaurant for me and I hope something is done about this!

First and the last time

We had done advance booking for a table of 6 a day before , however when we landed up we were first offered a table which consisted of an oval table of 4 and another table round table of 2 joined together, which seemed very awkward to sit . We insisted that we get a better table (the place was almost empty when we got in), we got a curt and rude reply that they are all booked. We had to remind the usher that we too have a reservation and don’t see a point of doing advance booking if we were treated like “walk-ins”.

I would say that the décor is good and so is the ambience. Also happy to see an only vegetarian menu.

Disliked
As we settled in and started ordering food we realised that the

a) Portions are too small
b) servers and ushers were extremely demotivated (no wonder they charged 10 % service charge on the bill, so why should they be good to you, whats their incentive to be good to you)
c) getting refills for anything was next to impossible (water to sauces)
d) Poor service
e) No value for money

Having eaten in some very fine dine restaurant not only in India but in abroad , I would rate my experience to “big disappointment

Break from same old chinese!

We went for a weekday lunch and were surprised to see it full! We quickly understood why. The chicken sui cheung fung was a steamed plate of heaven drizzled with tangy Japanese soy! We were trying to go lite, so we followed it up with the sticky rice in lotus leaf with chicken in prawn. The pretty parcel was opened - lovely sticky rice with a glazed brown top and centre of yum chicken and prawn. I could eat that every meal of my life!

we ended with the Singapore sea food vermecelli. Yum yum yum.

The only downer was our server who was clearly disinterested. A few botch ups, including getting us veg vermecelli and absol no interest in helping with the menu. The place still gets an excellent rating for the kind woman manager who got us a replacement pronto and the Food, which makes you sigh in relief for breaking away from same ol same ol

Higly Reccommended!

Pros:
1. Fantastic decor and trendy, upmarket ambience. All that glass, wood, marble, steel and high ceilings make you go wow as soon as you enter and set the tone just right for the evening.
2. Top notch, delicious food. The grilled chicken shanghai and steamed vegetable dumplings were succulent and done to perfection. The accompanying sauces were punchy and flavourful. The Red snapper in black bean sauce was to die for with a spicy sauce with a mild hint of sweet. The tofu and mixed vegetable clay pot was simply delicious and went well with the fried rice that the server reccommended.
3. Dessert was the highlight. The Raspberry Delice was brilliant on all counts. The presentation and taste made it one of the most enjoyable desserts we've had. That shiny, satiny red covering over a chocolate mousse with a brownie base, raspberry coulis on the side and a little scoop of ice cream was just brilliant.
Overall, the service was very quick and the dishes made it to our table within minutes of ordering on a reasonably bustling night.
Cons:
1. Rs. 50 for Valet parking is so unecessary and puts you off. They park at a nearby ground where there are 2 security guards a all times apparently. However, considering its in a commercial area of BKC with empty streets at nght with ample parking everywhere you look, is that really necessary?? Moreover, you have to wait close to 10 minutes for them to walk to the grounds and get your car out for you while leaving.
2. Ridiculously overpriced alcohol. Rs 700 upwards + 25% VAT? Also, Rs 4000 wa sthe cheapest bottle of wine available. No, thank you.
3. Rs. 375 for 3 small pieces of the steamed mixed vegetable dimsum didnt seem right.
Overall, the service was attentive but the server didnt do a good job in explaining the dishes to us. This is important because the hot pink menus dont have a description of the dishes.

I'd definitely go back for the food and ambience! .

The Perfect Dinner!

Brilliant is the word for this place. Excellent ambiance, delicious food and decent pricing. Normally a place like this you would expect to be exorbitant, but to our surprise it is one of chic places which do not burn a hole in your pocket. The service is impeccable and they suggested us the best dishes. Also the location works in favour of the restaurant, also they were decently packed on a monday night with a very good crowd.

We went on ordering for food amongst the four of us, including several starters, mains, rice & noodles and to our surprise the bill was pretty decent for a place like this.

In short one of those places you would want to go to feel good, on a date, or even celebrate an occasion. I wouldn't mind going to Yauatcha without a reason either. It is one of those excellent restaurants that bring you back over and over again. Hope they maintain their quality and service standards.

Good food and ambiance ...

Went there for lunch on Sunday. Great food, and some very different tastes and preparations. Very hep crowd - all dressed up to come to a Sunday lunch! This place is certainly expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. The area near the kitchen gets very loud due to the constant hissing of the pans ... they could do something to dim that down. Great desserts, so don't miss them.

Yautcha!

Really like the ambience. The staff was especiallllyyy attentive. Unlike most restaurants, where only your server waits on your table, here all waiters were attending to us in a second, even though the restaurant was packed!
Momos are nice but the quantity is very less. Food taste was good, but choice of types of noodles was limited. The desserts were very different and definately would go back for.
overal great except that its too far in the middle of BKC

Excellent food.. service could be better..

The food is 5/5.. very limited menu, but if one has been to the London restaurant, you know it's more of a dimsum place. Yummy dimsums and main course. Desserts are fingerlicking good! Now the service. To begin with, they charge you a Rs. 50 for valet parking.. which I thought was ridiculous for such an up-market restaurant. They should just bear the cost for the same. Secondly, although the table facing the road was empty, we were told it was pre-reserved, which wasn't true after all. Thirdly, the attendants need to be constantly called for and are barely pro-active. But overall, the food lives up to the Michelin Starred London restaurant. A total must Go for you don't mind a few glitches with the service!

Super food - Terrible Service - 2nd visit

As always the food was super. The service and attitude will definetly influence my choice for another visit. I dont expect this when you are paying 1500 a person. It took 7 requests and 17 minutes to get forks for the kids on my table on a Sunday, and then had to get up, and request a Manager who had the attitude of a movie star.

Excellent food and service

I have been to Yauatcha couple of times. It's a fine dining place, and comes across as nothing less than that. The greeting at the entrance is a bit snobbish, but thankfully, these people are doing a good job of maintaining customer records.

The dimsums here are quite tasty (and I speak only of non-vegetarian kinds). Edamame dumplings did not work that well for me. The fried rice, clay pot chicken, and spicy flat noodles were quite tasty. The servings are small, so order accordingly. But the service is quite good even at the busier hours of the evening.

And lastly, it seems the only place in BKC where you can do known-name spotting ;) I have already seen Shahid Kapoor, Prafull Patel and the likes dining here.

Only disappointed when on reception girl refused to give me despite of

great food. poor service. delusions of grandeur.

Five of us walked in on a Monday night.
The hostess downstairs refused to give us a table for six.
I assumed it would be full.
The place was absolutely E-M-P-T-Y

What's worse, they refused to give the fifth person a chair and insisted that three ppl sit crammed on the sofa. Absolutely nothing justifies this in an empty restaurant.

And the service was abysmal throughout dinner. Waiters had to be repeatedly coaxed to serve the food and not just leave it on the table.

The food was good but the portions tiny.

Overall, not a good experience.

Great Experience

Big, expansive place. Light and cheery. Noisy though as they have an open kitchen.

The food is fresh and flavorful. Not a wide selection for vegetarians - but what is available is pretty good - esp the dim sums.

Service is OK. Some waiters seem not in the loop though and dont understand what you saying or vice versa.

The raspberry dessert is AWESOME

For vegetarians appx cost is 1000 per head without hard drinks.

I would go again but please manage the mosquitoes guys ! Not good to see those in a fine dine !!

Chic and yummy!

Lived up to the hype and all the good reviews that we had got of the place... The interiors are chic and modern and its pretty huge from the inside. Loved the plates alot! The food is how we indians like it: hot, spicy and full of flavour.. The menu is vast and we vegetarians have our fair share of things that we can order.... Although was pretty confused when the waiters told us that they were out of broccoli and a few other essential items on the menu, and tht too on a sunday night... Left us feel a tad bit rejected... Yet the desserts were yummy.. Had ordered the milk praline cake and it was just perfect... Shall definately go there again soon... Hopefully by then atleast the normal broccoli and zucchini stuff will be freely available!

Could do better

So the food is good, haven't had such good dimsum since a long time and the macaroons.. yummy !

However i must admit , was pretty disappointed with the overall experience

1. There were mosquitoes , your reading it right mosquitoes.. infected literally! Maybe coz we had a corner table, maybe coz of the weather , maybe they forgot to disinfect the place yesterday .. but no excuses on this one, its not even an open air restaurant. We were offered another table, but this didn't solve the problem

2. The junior staff didn't know much about the stuff on the menu, they had to check every time :( As the place got crowded , it was tough grabbing their attention too

3. Music- yes i am one of the few who actually listens and believes music is no1 in creating the right ambiance.. the same track was repeated for the period of 2 hrs we were there.. Cummon there were 2 Mgrs in the restaurant trying to look busy.. couldn't someone have figured the cd was looping

If I'm not wrong the London restaurant is a michelin star restaurant , not this branch in Mumbai , so ppl here are under the wrong impression that this too is michelin star restaurant.. correct me if i'm wrong

a michelin star restaurant

its famous in london
and now its opened up in BKC

the name is difficult to pronounce , its location is in obscure BKC

The interiors are very well done and the two ladies will promptly escort u upstairs to be seated. went for lunch on a monday and it was very empty. only a la carte and its open all day....

the view is of a concrete jungle , albeit new buildings, financial and software but the interiors are pleasant....the bathrooms r dimly lit with LED lights in the wash basin..

now the food:

we ordered the har gau dimsum which was very subtle and irrestible..... the chicken and prawn shumai was an explosion of spice in my mouth .......

the hot n sour soup with trumpet mushroom was intresting......

but the piece de resistance is surely the braised pork belly and the braised sea food in spicy sauce....... i have never had such succulent pork belly with so many sensations in my mouth all at one go. it went well with the stir fry udon flat noodle..

i highly recommend this place to mumbaikars........... dont worry about the drive there, or finding the place or the HEFTY bill. its SO worth it . dress well, go for a leisure lunch or an early dinner....

lunch for for two, without alchohol : rs 9000

Great ambience, lovely staff till it gets crowded.

My family and I dined at Yauatcha yesterday. till the crowd started building up, it was a fantastic experience. The soup and the dimsums were yum! I mean really yum. The Grouper was not as great as the rest of the food. I loved the presentation of the desserts. and yum definitely. But the biggest plus - my debit card chip did not work and I did not have an alternate card on me. We were embarrassed like hell but the maitre'd did not make any fuss, he just said that the machine sometimes misbehaves with chip cards. I went to the ATM across the street and withdrew the cash and all was well with the world again. Thank you for a good evening.

Great Ambience, Fresh Asian Food!

When my cousin told me that he would like me to visit this newly opened London joint in the middle of Bandra Kurla Complex Mumbai, I was all ears! But then he had trouble getting the name right! Finally I had to figure it out myself. He did help me with the name and number eventually...

We were going for a nice Christmas dinner with the family and my little champ son of two months. I made reservations over the phone. They made it a point to store my name and number right away in their system so that they could have it for future reference. I was told that the there were only two seating, 730 pm and then 1030 pm. But that was a bit of a farce as people were walking in even when we left at 930 pm. The hostesses were pleasant but not very knowledgeable of two things, one was the directions to get to the place and the second whether they could make Jain food! The latter I never got to know, but once I reached the place I knew that the Jains would not be happy at the whole set up.

You are received by a bevy of hostesses at the atrium which has a double height. The left hand side is reserved for selling petite pastries and other carry away items. You climb a flight of stairs to be greeted with a long community table and a bar. Behind which is an expansive dining area with an open kitchen. The bamboo dim sum units are stocked till the ceiling giving a very clear indication on what to expect.

We were presented with very elegant menus for both drinks and food. We ordered from what seemed to be an ices tea mocktail menu. We were very pleasantly surprised. The tea taste was subtle enough to enhance the other fruity flavors. Recommend the peach and guava iced tea and also the fresh pomegranate juice. They serve Asahi and TsingTao as beers.

The service is prompt with only one waiter (named Happy for us!) taking care of the entire table. That helped us a lot. He knew what he was talking about. Since we were all vegetarians and some of us did not eat mushrooms, while others wanted extra sauce with their meal, he patiently stood, listened and complied.

The decor is very much like Hakkasan (their sister concern) but little bit more young and hip, giving it a very relaxed feel to the whole thing.

The vegetarian choices are limited but adequate. The meat and fish options are a plenty. We started with some soup. Only one soup for us. The hot and sour soup with trumpet mushrooms. The presentation was ideal. Fresh mushrooms (wonder how they transport them and yet retain the freshness) with very delectable tofu. Great flavors and the right amount of sourness and spice!

The dim sums we ordered were, Mushroom Cheung Fun, Golden Fried Veg, Truffed Edamame, Shanghai Pan Fried, Crystal dumpling. Each one was very well balanced and flavored. The only let down was the oil in the golden fried dumpling. The look though was breathtaking. It made me wonder how did they get that shape! The crowd favorite was the veg crystal dumpling though.

Even though these small bites looked small, by the time we had polished them off we were nearly full. So we went light on the mains. We ordered one Mabo Tofu and one stir fried egg plant, Sato beans, french beans and okra. Along with some spicy fried rice and stir fried Udon noodles in black pepper sauce.

All of the dishes were exceptional! Fresh ingredients, great flavors, well balanced, very well presented and brought out in very looking good looking bowls with lids. Here I will say that the less said the better it is to bring out the WOW factor in the food.

The Mabo tofu had subtle flavor with soft tofu, the stir fry was pungent and spicy with very fresh and bitter Sato beans. The rice with Edamame and bamboo shoots was delicate while the noodles added that black pepper punch!

The last course of desserts was really outstanding. The selection of ice creams was more cream, fresh fruit flavors, french bean vanilla with a hint of orange. There was a mandarin tart with fresh mandarins and a coffee and chocolate tart as well. I had to hold my breath at the end of the meal to let the whole experience sink in.

We must give this one a standing ovation! Kudos in bringing the authenticity and freshness back to Asian food!

its called a "tea-house"

You might think applying E M Forester’s description of the world – “a glimmering, ethereal plasm” – to a bowl of soup is hyperbolic, but that’s only until you sample the hot and sour at newly opened Yauatcha in BKC. Almost identical to the version served at sister-restaurant Hakkasan, it is thick and shimmery, swimming with silky tofu and slivers of mushroom, spicy enough to clear the most stubborn sinuses. And for a few heady, fragrant minutes, it truly becomes your universe.

A Good Start

The rest of the dishes at Yauatcha aren’t as sublime, but they make for a good meal. We kicked ours off with pan fried Shanghai dumplings (also from Hakkasan – according to management, about 30% of the menu overlaps), flavourful in translucent, scorched skins and perfectly fried duck rolls filled with minced meat and slices of crunchy cucumber. Coat these with jammy plum sauce and you’ll have a perfect melding of sweet and savoury, crisp and soft. Stay away, though, from Chicken Char Sui Buns – they are gluey, oversweet and largely unpalatable.

Main Attractions

Mains of spicy fried rice and double cooked pork belly with chilli sauce arrived in thick ceramic bowls along with steamed rawas in a dim sum basket, glistening under spicy black bean sauce and pretty enough to have the our entire group sit up. It tasted of sea and spice, fat and fresh in a shallow bath of sauce and whole chillies.

The above-mentioned pork belly was tender and flavourful, complemented by a sauce that balanced perfectly between sweet and tangy, but had no spice to speak of. This we poured over steaming yellow rice, which was indeed spicy, and studded with diced vegetables.

Over the Top

Up until now, we had behaved: we had ordered in proportion to our party, sampled an assortment of meats, stuck to one cocktail each – currently, they only have three available, of which Baron Vert, made with citrus vodka, vermouth, basil and grapefruit juice is the best. But our temperance was destroyed by dessert, felled by a medley of raspberry and chocolate, mandarin and mango.

After all, who can resist raspberry-chocolate mousse, served on a brownie base and moulded like a ripening rose, dark and citrusy and perfect? This came along with an unpleasantly gelatinous, lacklustre mandarin tart, followed by a surprise of bright macarons and sorbets on the house. We especially liked super-sour raspberry and Thai mango sorbets and lemon macarons that melted on our tongues. The latter come in Earl Grey and Macha flavours as well, which we plan to try on our next trip in.

Hakkasan Lite

Yauatcha is essentially Hakkasan lite – more casual and less expensive. This reflects in the decor as well, which reinvents the main elements of Hakkasan’s interiors: the underwater-invoking lighting of Hakkasan’s dining room, for instance, shows up at Yauatcha in the form of aquariums. The bar here is integrated into the main dining space, supplemented by a slick communal table. There are two open kitchens, and a take-away dessert counter on the ground floor. The signature blue lighting is present but subtler, diluted by cool yellow tubes that drip from the ceiling and a wall of wide windows that make Yauatcha a much more attractive lunch option than the gloomy Hakkasan.

Yauatcha is billed as “dim sum tea house” but it’s really a restaurant that you celebrate a good work Monday at, or visit on a promising second date. Remember to quote EM Forester during the soup course, order the raspberry-chocolate dessert, and you’ll be golden.

Excellent dimsum and soup!

Ours was a lunch-time visit on a Saturday. The restaurant is located at Raheja Towers in BKC and when you walk in, your attention cannot help but be caught by the array of incredible looking desserts and macaroons on display (more on that later). The dining part of the restaurant is located on the first floor, and I have to give full marks for design - lots of natural light, well spaced out tables, great decor and mild blue lighting give it a sense of openness. The crockery is also quite interesting with plates that have scalloped edges, rather than regular round ones.

We ordered the Hot & Sour soup, Prawn & Chinese Chive dim-sum, Pan friend Shanghai dumplings a pot of Tsui Yu Oolong blue tea.

While taking the order for food, the server said that someone would advise us on what tea would go best with the food we'd ordered and called someone to the table for that, but the 'tea expert' merely took the order rather than recommending something. However, the tea was fragrant and perfectly brewed, so it didn't really matter much anyway!

The Hot & Sour soup was excellent - the flavors were perfect and there were some interesting textures - there was some grapefruit in it which gave the soup an unusual hot, sour but mildly sweet and citrus-y flavor. I would highly recommend this.

The dim-sums were great - fresh, well flavored and the meat and seafood in the filling was perfectly cooked.

We didn't really have a main course because we were fairly full and wanted dessert instead, so we ordered the signature Raspberry Delice. At first, they came back to say that the dessert would take time and we said that we were fine to wait for it, as we had heard good things about it. A couple of minutes later though, the server came back to say that it wasn't possible to give us the Raspberry Delice as it wasn't ready. I found it a little bit ridiculous that they did not have the signature dessert available on a Saturday afternoon when they were evidently quite busy. In any case, we picked up a couple of macaroons to take away downstairs and the fruit flavored ones - mandarin, raspberry and blueberry stood out - I didn't like the coffee or chocolate ones too much.

Service was very good, unfailingly polite and they made sure we weren't waiting at any point of time.

I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because of the unavailability of the dessert, the fact that the tea-expert didn't recommend anything, and because they charge for valet parking. These are minor gripes however, and I will certainly be back again because the food was excellent and I'm in love with the Hot & Sour soup! :-)
