Healthy desert in every flavor

Making a sweet tooth like me feel less guilty, giving me a healthier tastier option. Yogurtbay has yogurt in every possible flavor from blueberry cheesecake to red velvet. My personal favorites are red velvet and salted caramel, I also never miss out on the poppers topping.

Not impressed

Tries the blueberry cheesecake yoghurt here and to be honest i didnt like it at all. I actually threw the yoghurt in the bin after a few bite. Decently priced. I would still want to try the rocky road yoghurt here! The fruit poppers were fun but ive had better ones else where! The ambiance is really bad. The staff is okay!

great stuff

This place serves simply mouthwatering yogurt flavours.Have tried many other yogurt places in Mumbai and have zeroed down to this one serving the best flavours and the best toppings.their original flavoured yogurt tastes delicious with cheesecrumbs and blueberry sauce. Their blueberry cheesecake flavoured yogurt is also equally delicious. they seem to have new toppings everytime i visit the place. definitely a thumbs up for this place.!

Best Frozen yoghurt!

I'm in love with these frozen yogurts
Yogurtbay is the place serving yogurt in form of deserts... all of their deserts are a healthier version of an indulgence if I may say so.
the place is quite small..just a small box located at the corner of carter road....
Being a small place, not more than 4-5 people can stand inside at a time.
It serves up its usual 3-4 flavors, a flavor of the day and a few sundaes some of which are quite popular.
My all time favorite being Strawberry combined with the add-ons like fresh strawberry pieces and some fruit poppers.
Decently priced.
Good place that serves good yogurt.
If you are a yogurt-fan, then yogurt-bay is a must-visit.

Mind boggling flavours & toppings..Their signature yogurt is the blueberry cheesecake which is a must try..apart from this is the oreocheesecake, mango, peanut butter jelly, red velvet, etc .. A Must try place for yogurt..u will enjoy it..Cocoberry and places like that dont even come close to this !!!

Awful

I have recently shifted to Mumbai from Pune and was surfing through Mumbai Burrp for some frozen yogurt outlet and found Yogurtbay with so many reviews. But sorry to say that I was absolutely disappointed. Such a badly managed shop with no cleanliness at all. The shop even smells bad, how do people eat there ? I ordered for Green apple flavour, and it was too sour and pungent.
I thought of asking them a question that " Where is yogurt in whatever you serve ? "
Anyway, let people find out by themselves. But I can strongly recommend Yogos in Andheri, as their yogurt is authentically good. Even Yogurberry in Juhu is a great place.

Dirty Place

I can guarantee you that if you enter this store in Carter road, the first thing what will strike your mind is "so dirty ". There is no proper place to stand inside the shop, with untidy and ill maintained interior and exterior. How can they deal with food in such an unhealthy atmosphere.

The yogurt I tasted was ok, but nothing extra ordinary. I think many of the previous comments are fabricated for promotion of the brand.

yuvi10 is absolutely correct..Yogurtbay is very expensive as compared to other brands and the quality which they serve.

They simply make a 'khichdi' by adding weird toppings and you actually cannot enjoy the real flavour. The staffs work as robots. No welcoming, no eye contact...they will simply add whatever they want and present a bill ASAP with a big figure on it.

Guys!!! whatever you are spending, it's hard earned money of you or your parents. Spend them wisely. Don't waste them here. There are better brands like Yogos, Yogurberry etc. where you get the same yogurt and flavours in proper justified price. Yogurtbay is too commercial and doesn't believe in customer satisfaction.

the standards have slipped

I have been a regular visitor to Yoghurtbay but on my last visit I was appalled at the dirty conditions ...there were flies ,the counters and the work space was dirty .over all not a nice experience ...and I got a feeling I am not getting my money s worth as the cups are not filled properly .The neighbouring frozen yogurt places are cleaner and the staff is better. Disappointing

Good yogurt, great variety of toppings but cramped

I just love the yogurt here.they have great flavors and very nice choice of toppings.
The quality is also very good. The bad part is that the store is way too small and when full you'll be easily left waiting some time before you can place your order. The staff is nice.Sometimes I've seen a long queue of people waiting to order. This deters me from having too regularly here. But I always stop by if i'm on carter road and see that the place less crowded to get some of their delicious yogurts

What's going on?

I've been a Yogurtbay loyalist since forever.
The Breach Candy outlet is BRILLIANT. SO clean, the staff is polite, helpful and extremely sweet.
I hadnt been to the Bandra one, when I did go yesterday I was appalled by the dirty counters and cups, horrible horrible behavior of the staff and the quality of the yogurt was so bad and wattery, at the breach candy store they fill your cups pretty well, the bandra store I dont think I even got how much I paid for.
Please do look into the Bandra store glitches.
Though I absolutely love the place, i'll stick to going to the Breach Candy store.

I have been quite a regular at yogurt bay on carters and ive been tasting their delectable goodness since a couple of months now...i am very happy the way they've maintained the consistency of the products and their innovative products they come out with time n again.I recommend everyone to just go and try out this place..its totally worth it

Wonderful place... Only issue with Menu :(

Pretty cool place to have cool creations like their variety of Yoghurts...
i saw this place while having a strol in that area and wat attracted me was their Shoppe name in Vibrant blue lights and more over the crowd there.
As usual i also tuk up my turn to have the yoghurt there..not it was really amazing.....but only the thing which needs to be worked out ---the menu should be clearer n more expressive in the sense when ever any new person pops in ..it should not b a prob deciding wats to b taken only bcoz he/she s NOT VRERY SURE that wat exactly the prepartion contains....the person who is cuming for teh 1st tiome should not FEEL LIKE ALIEN ................SO MENU SHOULD BE WORKED UPON....but in short G8 PLACE :)

Healthy? Don't know. Taste? Awesome!

The director seems to have stopped responding ever since the fat content became the centre of the discussion. Anyway, who cares? I tried it for the first time, and feel in love. I wish the chocolate machine had been working. I settled on strawberry, but no complaints! I'm sure no one wants to live on frozen yoghurt, its a good desert after a quick meal around Carter Road.

Tastes great but WHAT is it made of???

We have been frequenting Yogurtbay a bit too often recently and I must say they make the best tasting 'healthy' desserts I have come across in this city. But then is it actually healthy? What does healthy mean? Is having less than 3% fat enough to make it fit for regular consumption? Don't we want to know more about the ingredients before we put the stuff into out mouth? I would definitely want to know what are the various components of this frozen yogurt.

Is it pure yogurt , sugar and fruit or are there any added substances, carbohydrates/straches, preservatives , colors etc? If yes then what are these? How many calories do each of these flavours have? The cheesecake one felt quite heavy and wasn't sold as fat free ( or low fat).

Btw, these yougurts are low-fat and not NO fat as mentioned on the menu. Other than that, we as consumers would love to know what goes into making them so we can be sure we are eating the right thing. Till I get that information, I am going to keep my consumption low .

Whats tasty need not necessarily be fat! ;)

The delicious wave of frozen yogurt shops coming up in Mumbai, has swelled up once more and its latest offering goes by the name of Yogurtbay! Opened up in the popular 'Khao gulli' of Bandra - carter road (besides CCD and opposite Ramu Dosa) this place has become immensely popular amongst all calorie conscious people with a sweet tooth.

And why not!? It serves some of the most innovative combinations one can dream of. Imagine having a low-cal blueberry cheesecake in the form of a yogurt? Yes, its tastes absolutely like one and comes complete with blueberry yogurt, blueberry compote and topped off with insanely delicious cheese-cake base (crumbled up).
Or if you instead prefer Strawberry flavour, you can blindly order the 'Strawbella', which is strawberry yogurt (no-fat), topped off with strawberry pieces, marshmallows, kit-kat and vanilla muffin crumble as the base! They have many such signature dishes ranging from the sweet tasting- chocolate and vanilla yogurt base (I don't prefer these personally) to the comparatively tangier blueberry, strawberry, mango or classic flavoured bases (these I love). Whats interesting is that they keep rotating the seasonal flavours and also keep introducing new ones as a part of their 'Flavour-of- the-day' scheme.

Just last week I tasted a beautiful Peanut Butter falvoured yogurt. The nutty taste followed by the tangy zing of the yogurt was just wonderful.
One can of course get in touch with their creative side and come up with something absolutely unique! Their 'toppings' counter is easily the largest when compared to any other yogurt shop, or even any other ice cream shop. They stock everything from M&M's, Kit-Kats, Muffin crumbles, Choco chips, Fruit Poppers (their signature topping), fruit compotes, choco shavings, Nutella mixed with hazelnuts, oreo cookie crumble, vegan marshmallows....the list can go on and on...I have to stop typing it out since my keyboard is now covered with my own drool! :p

One point I'd like to make here is that, unlike most other frozen yogurt shops, this place serves yogurt which isn't all that sour/ tangy. In fact, its a bit sweeter and creamier. I'm pretty sure that they mix a bit more of cream as compared to the other places. I guess thats the real reason why its gained much more popularity when compared to its competitors - they have localized (read sweetened) a product which in essence should be not at all sweet!! I still wonder how true is their claim as beng non-fat or low-fat...But what I do know is that it tastes heavenly and is a perfect substitue for an ice cream or gelato.

Oh...just see how far has the humble curd has come... :)

GO! try it out and dont be surprised if you bump into a celebrity whilst you are there. ;)

Its Light...Creamy....Delicious

The yogurt is definitely something not only to taste but to also savor. The staff needs polishing though and the "Behind the Counter" looks shabby and unhygienic.

Hi, please do drop in soon and tell us if you still hold the same opinion, we have a full time dedicated cleaner who does nothing but clean even droplets a guest may leave behind. Our staff is also much more knowledgeable about the product now than they were when we opened.

Flavors, surprises, yummies in a cup!

When I came down from Bangalore for a couple of weeks, the first thing my sweet toothed wife told me was to go to Yogurtbay and try the "Blueberry Cheese cake".

As a die hard fan of ice creams, smoothies and yogurts I decided to visit the place at the next available instant!

One evening post dinner, to satisfy those cool cravings, we decided to drive down to Yogurtbay. Located conveniently just next to the Cafe Coffee Day on Carter Road, it was easy to find. They welcome you with some colorful cushions on the three stairs to their door. You can grab your yogurt and relax outside with some chatting and some people watching.

If you can enter at the first instance do so, cos the way they are getting more and more followers, the place is always packed. Trust me as I have been there 4 times in two weeks.

The interiors are small but the wall facing the door has a cool graphic on it. The shop has three machines and a counter for them to whip up their creations. Behind the machines, up on the wall is their menu which has their parfaits for the breakfast yogurt, the smoothies for the ones in a rush and then their yogurt sundaes like the Chunky Monkey or the Strawbella!

The boys behind the counter believe in service with a smile! They are efficient, courteous and generous in the way they serve their customers. They offer you a taste or a recommendation. I would suggest going with the flavor of the day.

The flavor of the day is not really a simple yogurt but a whole sundae in itself. I started with looking for the highly recommended blueberry cheesecake. But it was conspicuous in its absence! I could hear people around me ordering for their cheesecake, but I just couldnt see it on the menu or on the machines! A clever marketing trick which has worked wonders for them!

So finally I get to ordering the cheesecake. They pour in a whole generous portion of their patented cheesecake flavor, top it up with the crumbs and the blueberries. My cup brimmeth and was full!

One spoonful taking in the yogurt, the berry & the crust and I could feel the cheesecake in my mouth. It took me less than 5 minutes to finish the entire cup!

The yogurt itself has got the right amount of sweet and tart so that it is not too icy, not too creamy and yet gives you all the guilt free dessert eating. Their toppings are fresh and they give you all your money's worth.

On my other jaunts to their shop I tried the cookies and cream, peaches & mango and malt. All once again highly recommended!

They are reasonably priced. Not too cheap like the largest coffee chain in India and not over the top like the German sounding American ice cream chain in Oberoi Mall!

Once you taste, you won't stop. So what are you waiting for!

Corky Staff & bad service

3 Visits, And the experience has turned from Good to Bad, staff asked people to wait out with sheer attitude, if crowd is not what this place wants or can handle they should shift to a more reserved location. Cocoberry a much better place opened just a few shops away, the mulberry topping & green apple yogurt is a must try there.

A Delightful Summer Treat!

It is amazing to see various innovative concepts coming up in the food industry in India!

The relatively new Yogurt Bay located at the heart of Bandra at Carter Road is one such start up by two young entrepreneurs, Robin Chatterjee & Viral Jhaveri who have given Mumbaikars a healthier fat free yet a delicious alternative to beat the heat this summer.

With delicious and innovative flavours ranging from Chocolate to Watermelon to Blueberry Cheesecake to Tiramisu to Mango-Peach, name it and they have it all! ( You can even request them to work on your favourite flavour and who knows..that might just end up being their “Flavour of the Day”

Other than the flavours, we are also introduced to some really out of the world toppings, my all time favourite being the “Poppers” which comes in mango, peace and lychee flavour simply rocks! We then have the Brownie crumble, smarties, various fresh fruit toppings and many more.

Without hesitating I have turned into a regular patron of Yogurt Bay and wish the duo all the very best and many more branches all across Bombay city and the whole of India as well. Kudos to them for bringing to us Yogurtbay!

Brilliantness.

They have got it _right_. That kick of tartness at the end is perfect.

The blueberry cheesecake is a super find -- I'd take this over an *actual* blueberry cheesecake. The original is exaccctttllyy what it should be & what I have loved & yearned for [add some fresh strawberries & you're bang on]. The watermelon [flavor of the day] is fresh & lick-bowl-able. The chocolate is very average; I'd recommend staying away. I also love the outside sitting that is casual & fun. Look forward to a lazy sunday evening with froyo & a book.

The toppings need a bit more, especially in the fruits department (and there are a few TOO many chocolate topping options), but all in all, superb.

I'll be going there again, and again, and again, and...

Now open one townside!

Yogurt By The Bay

So far, March has brought with it scorching heat, summer love and the Every Belly Campaign. Viral Jhaveri (mechanical engineer) and Robin Chatterjee(Marketing) are the brains behind the delicious swirls of Yogurt at ‘Yogurt Bay’ tempting everyone from The Gym-bunkers to the Fitness Freaks, the Divas and the item Girls to come dip their taste buds into the creamy goodness of fat-free frozen Yogurt. Specially prepared to appeal to our taste buds while being healthier than your favorite dessert, Yogurt Bay is on a crusade to pamper your sweet tooth while being kind to your belly.
To get going, there are 4 sizes ranging from the modest mini to the generous shared cup. While there are a wide variety of flavors to choose from, we have settled on a few personal favorites. The Blueberry Cheesecake tops the list and it has been so well received that it has earned itself a regular spot on the menu. Coming in at second place is the Cherry French Vanilla which is simply god sent and If you keep coming back for more like we did, you could be greeted with the apple pie cinnamon yogurt or the Tropical blue Yogurt with skittles as well. But if you’re simply looking for ways to beat the heat like I am, a regular scoop of yogurt with pieces of mango and honey almond granola works perfectly at 12 in the afternoon. So if you’re going all out and feeling awfully adventurous today, I’d suggest you top your scoop with heaps of colorful poppers, oreos, pop tarts, brownies, M&Ms, skittles and so much more. If all of the above didn’t make you squeal in delight, maybe you should opt for a smoothie or parfait instead (a kind of sundae with yogurt and toppings instead of ice-cream)
Situated between Crepe Station and Café Coffee Day on carter road, it’s easy to miss the white and teal fencing of Yogurt Bay so keep your eyes peeled and you might even see us lounging out on the comfy cushions outside. Best part about frequenting Yogurt Bay? Each cup is served with a smile and a generous helping of guilt-free love.

We visited yogurtbay for dessert treat today.. and it was a pleasant surprise. Perfect summer treat. The bartender was kind to help us to make an apt choice and also offered a taste helping. The menu was adequate with four flavours to choose from for icecream, a good range of toppings; plus there is shakes and their own created dessert options. We tried the a small watermelon flavour cup with kiwi fruit and "poppers" topping. Poppers if i had to define.. its like bubble wrap in you mouth, popping mild flavoured jelly juice, a fun try indeed!!
The small portion was pretty satisfying for one and good value
Definitely visiting again, love poppers
