What's making news?Finally, McDonalds's was launched in the Ascendas IT Park, Chennai! Now if that's not exciting enough news for you, here's something spicier. The first veggie burger (Rs. 42) was auctioned and was sold for (any guesses?) a whooping Rs. 4 lacs!!!! The bidder is none other than the managing director of Saravana Bhavan Holdings. No wonder we pay 75 bucks for a masala dosa, eh?. The proceeds of the auction will be donated to the Banyan (NGO).
