Welcome to the May issue of the burrp! newsletter, plugged-in!

burrpers share their views on what's piping hot and spanking new!

Newly opened Soda and Jasmine Bay didn't go down too well with burrpers! But news is Firangi Paani and Blue Frog are still hot favourites.

Talking of Blue Frog, jazz band Silverchops will be playing there this Sunday. While, on the other side of town, Kenny G will mesmerize fans at Taj Lands End.

White is hosting a special mother's day brunch this Sunday which is totally adorable. But we're wondering how suddenly every restaurant in town is hosting nice Sunday brunches. Doesn't hurt us foodies to have more places to pig out though, does it??

smashed on burrp!

Jasmine Moon
For serving kapilb a completely tasteless and uninspired attempt at traditional chinese cuisine

Firangi Paani

For being a bunch of snobs & turning aarti
& her friends away for ridiculous reasons even though some of them were actually 'firangi'

Club Escape

For marring their nice decor by allowing a strange and shady crowd. Stay away from the weirdos

Pizza Hut
For serving bombayteddy
weird 'indianized' toppings, garlic bread without garlic and soggy herbs

Fire Bowl

For arguing with skeeedamnbee
about serving uncooked potatoes. Whatever happened to the mantra "the customer is always right"?

Cheers to all you guys for telling us about your unpleasant experiences. High time these places get their act together!
