Never ever order Chicken Tandoori from here...First the chicken looks sick and weak n thin n malnutritioned chicken which did not eat for months with no flesh on it but just bones. Secondly even if there is a lil flesh you can't taste the chicken in it because its going to be so damn spicy but not at all good or a fine marination and all you could do is just gulp down your beer or cold drinks and experience your lips burn for hours...In fact I make better tandoori chicken with awesome tasty marination at home in my OTG...What a waste of money...My mistake for ordering it from there but never again..
(3.5/5)Good Dhaba like Taste THANK YOU BURRP
I had been to Punjabi Dhaba after reading burrp! reviews. First of all I could not find the restaurant due to wrong location on burrp! map (actual location was some 700 meters from that on burrp!).
Coming to the experience, I liked the chole and paneer
Tava masala (the paneer was so soft and delicious) that we ordered. Also the Patiala lassi was worth its price.
The daal takda and Rice was just good.
Bill was around 200 per head.
Worth a try..!!
Punjabi Dhaba is the place to go when you are feeling a little cash strapped but your tummy isn't. The butter-laden rotis take you out of the world. The dishes come in half and full so you can choose your quantity wisely. For vegetarians, I would suggest any paneer dish and the boondhi raita. with butter roti, of course. The icing on the cake is the patiala lassi that they serve. It might be 70 Rupees but it is worth a try. However, Do not forget to clean your plate with the provided napkins before you start the meal.
Tasty Punjabi food @affordable price
I have been fan of this restaurants for many years because of it's affordable prices and gravy preparations.
I have never liked Paneer Butter masala at other places as much as here. I am a veggie but my non-veg friends are also of full of praise for this place.
The place is popular amongst the college students from surrounding areas.
Must Tries : Kheer, Gulab Jamun, Patiala Lassi, Chhas (Butter milk), Any paneer dishes
