Complete and utter rubbish!! The meat in my sandwich was NOT COOKED. So disgusting and unhealthy!! and they took so long to deliver the food, over an hour. Total bullshit and I will never ever recommend this ridiculous and overpriced place to anybody - friend or enemy!!
Best Sandwiches Ever!!!
Even though this reviews comes way too late but could not help write one for this particular place.A tiny little place where I have been one of the first customers when it had started couple of years back. The sandwiches are here to die for. I used to literally have one everyday . The owners of the place are great people and very friendly. The Rooster Booster Sandwich and ceasar salad are my favorite.....just cant get enough of it.
the Tutto bene lady as I and my sister called her was a really helpful and charming person. she introduced me to a wide range of international products they keep. helping me to sort out my ingredients for making pasta...the right cheese, sauce etc. and also gave me tips on making them.
Its slightly expensive but worth a try for all die hard sandwich fans, you are sure to make a trip 2 once get a bite of it. Bon appetit!!! :)
Cute little place
Hidden in a small corner of Sacred world mall(where McDs is), this Delicatessen is quite unique and quite difficult to find!. The huge wood barrels (the ones used in breweries) that have been placed there to serve the purpose of tables take you by surprise, a nice one :) . The place is very small yet very clean. Its run by a couple who are very friendly n pleasant to talk to.
The place serves mainly sandwiches which you can either have there or take home( the make the s'wiches in front of u).They have hummus( which was well prepared) based for vegetarians and grilled chicken , ham n fish based for non vegetarians. They use a good variety of cheeses in the s'wiches. I tried one with ham n emmental cheese( the one which features so often in Tom&Jerry Cartoons) served on a baguette and one with tuna(sorry i forgot the names, which, i might add are very interesting..). The owners have a good knowledge about all the stuff that they sell in the little shop(cheeses, cereals, breads, meats, etc..)
Iv been there twice, though not very recently, this i regret very much cause the s'wiches, though overpriced (over Rs100,each), left a nice warm feeling in my tummy :)
Do visit for a nice experience, great place to pack lunch for a picnic !)
